Greetings y’all! - (I have not yet booked my hotel room, so I will leave another review upon staying) I am writing this review as someone beginning their search for a local hotel for week-long stay. Y’all, I called this Hilton at 8:30PM! This was the first hotel I called and had the pleasure of being greeted by an exceptional front desk agent/concierge, Rhiannon. Rhiannon was extremely helpful- answering questions about price fluctuations and providing carefully detailed explanations of which days would be affected by our local, Thursday college football game. I was considering other hotels in the area, but if the night staff is this knowledgeable and compassionate about their prospective customers, I’ll probably just book here. Thanks Rhiannon for helping choose the appropriate room, providing details about pricing, and being a pleasure to interact with. Check back in a few weeks for my review of the dwellings and overall stay. Fingers crossed that Rhiannon was an accurate representation of the overall experience!

The rest of the hotel might be ok but room 219 is not. It is beside the hvac units. When they fully kick in the bed vibrates. Whe. I tried to call the phone desk the phones were actually unplugged from the wall. Unfortunately the place was sold out and I couldn’t change rooms. As a diamond member I would hope I wouldn’t have been put in one of the worst rooms.

As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, my stay has been a very positive experience. Jamie from the front desk and Lora from the restaurant provided exceptional service. These two ladies provided outstanding customer service allowing me to enjoy time with my daughter during her first week in college. I will always make sure that this Hilton Hotel is my top pick everytime I come back to Blacksburg, VA. Thank you, Jamie and Lora!!

This hotel was very nice. It was clean and my room was very nice and new. There was food on site with a bar which was quite convenient. Also I had forgotten to bring shaving cream, but not to worry! Rhiannon gave me some for free and I was all good. She was super friendly and went above and beyond for us. I would highly recommend staying here.

The staff at Garden Inn are the Best at every aspect. Riannon is second to none, with customer service.. Austin is an amazing cook and Bartender. Brittany does an excellent job managing and holding down the fort.. I am a long term guest with a lengthy past with Hilton Garden Inn, and will remain a dedicated customer for years to come.. And yes the rooms are nice also...

This is our 4th time coming here, we’ve always loved the convenience and proximity to campus this hotel allows. However, when we called to book our reservation, we were promised a “military discount”, after showing our identification to the hostess on duty. But when we arrived on our expected date, the hostess, Rhiannon, was ignorant towards us. I asked her multiple times about the discount we were promised over the phone, she kept saying that there were “no rates available” and kept talking to her counterpart instead of explaining what exactly was wrong to us. When she finally did she was rude, neglectful, and gave us a bare minimum explanation. We usually book through a third party, and this is our first time booking through the front desk. We were honestly shocked as to how we were treated.

Room was clean, air conditioner in the room is VERY loud. Very low water pressure showers too. Bar is advertised as open 5-10 every day but the bar and also the kitchen was closed completely Sunday even with the sign out saying it’s open from 5-10. Then Monday we came back from a day out and were looking for a nightcap to find that they closed the bar at 9 even though the bartender was still standing at the front desk. Just something to be aware of if you want a glass of wine at the end of the night, it was an inconvenience, check if that’s important to you .

Our organization had a meeting there. The staff was extremely helpful. Brittany, the GM, and Heid, the AGM went out of their way to create a great meeting experience for our group. The servers in the dining area, Garry and Lora, were so nice and service was quick and efficient. Food was very good thanks to the skills and efficiency of the kitchen staff. Overall fantastic experience because of these terrific people.

I think the staff at this Hilton Garden Inn have been the most accommodating and helpful staff I have ever encountered. Ryan, who is a cook, literally took time to help me with a car issue. He brought his truck around to do help boost my car. Garry and Laura, servers, were so very helpful in explaining breakfast and helping us with anything we needed. They made us feel welcome and happy that we were here. Tommy and Brandon made delicious food and made sure everything was prepared the way we asked. Lee was very helpful during our meeting time and offered water and checked on us regularly. Brittany and Heidi are very welcoming and did everything they could to give us a good experience. This hotel is a very nice property. It it is located close to the Virginia Tech campus. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The restaurant menu was very limited. The waiter delivered my wings to another table and a very nice young man brought them to our table. The waiter never acknowledged his mistake. Eat somewhere else.
