Royal Seabank Hotel

Beware if you are booking this hotel as you may be put in another hotel further along the promenade. The Royal Carlton which is very run down. We booked a double room with seaview for myself and my husband for a 3 day event at The Tower Ballroom because of its proximity to the venue and because it had a coffee bar and restaurant. We were called a few days before and told it was overbooked and we would need to move hotels. We got a twin room at the back of the hotel with no sea virw or tea or coffee making facilities as advertised. Windows were broken and blinds and curtains wouldnt close. It was also further away so cost us more money travelling back and forth to The Tower. Also during our 3 day stay no towel change and when someone did come in to empty the bin they left the door open. Avoid at all costs!!

Great hotel excellent entertainment friendly staff very helpful easy to check in and to check out staff let me know where would be the best place to park has a lift which is helpful although only for two people at a time options for all inclusive drinks package and meal options for an additional price is very good .

Very good 2* hotel. Well positioned on the promenade with tram and bus stops outside yet just far enough away from city centre to be quieter at night. We had a twin Seaview room and the main noise was the trundle of the trams! You get what you pay for - hotel has lifts but is a rabbit warren of staircases and doors between rooms. Rooms are small but adequate, furnishings and decor are old and tired but clean. Bar, dining room and cabaret areas are also clean and tidy. The breakfast was ok, catering quality food but hot and well cooked, served quickly and professionally by very nice staff. Cabaret and bingo every night was a great addition and gave a nice option in the evening. Reception was helpful and friendly. Yes it's old and creaky but absolutely what it should be for the price.

Me and my kids really enjoyed our stay at the Royal sea bank and am saving up for our next trip there clean, friendly, accounting, lovely staff and lovely accommodation, food was lovely and drinks was fabulous definitely recommended the coctails 👌 thankyou very much.

Really love this hotel we try and go at least once a month, great food, the restaurant staff are so helpful and try to do their best with food requests, lovely reception staff who go all out to help their guests no matter what, bar staff are pleasant at all times and last but not least the nightly entertainment is fantastic especially Paul Mac and Caine Ward a brilliant duo and also Paul on his own as a DJ, the Icon show is also not to be missed, I feel we can’t praise this hotel enough their offers that are on at the minute is worth every penny

On the 17th of February 2024 at 03:30, I was awakened by my door opening and closing then someone flopped on the bed next to me, I shook this person trying to wake him, (all he was wearing was a T shirt) when I got no response I got dressed and went down to the reception and told the duty manager that there was someone in my room, I was told that maybe he had two rooms on his key but that they would investigate what and how it happened. After an hour I was told that the guy was out my room. I was told that the guy was drunk and urinating in the hallway just before this. I have since contacted Blackpool Promotions and was told that my concerns would be forwarded to the Operations Director (Twice) but to this date no-one has contacted me regarding this. I have been going to Blackpool for about 8 years and never had a bad experience until this year

Party of 18 and everyone was treated the same with something for everyone. Age group was between 21 and 67. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. The entertainment was great.

Hi I would like to complain about the Seabank hotel, room was so run down and not clean the shower was very dirty there was black mould and the water did not drain quick enough so we were getting black mould in the water at the bottom of the shower. There was no bathroom bin. I have a medical problem and I asked at the reception for a bin to be Put in to the bathroom and we had no hand towels, and just felt that the room needs upgraded. Some of the staff at the bar was very rude and there was one in particular. I did not get her name but she had red hair and she was very rude to myself and one off my friends the night before when I went to move a chair she shouted at me in the bar when the bar was full I was so embarrassed. I put my hand up to ask her to calm down and stop shouting then she turned round and says that I was pointing at her but I only meant for her calm down and then she said that I don’t like telling people four times to do something at that point one of the gentlemen in the bar spoke up for me to see you were shouting and as she walked off she remarked that’s not shouting you’d know about it if I was shouting, I felt this was very rude and embarrassing and I felt it was like a threat. I don’t think I would go back to the Seabank Hotel, then my father who is 87 and does not drink very much alcohol and she questioned him at the bar and told him he could only get one drink. We were all inclusive and we did not drink in the bar during the day. My father only had like three half Shandy A day, there was another company of 14 men and one of the men who was 88 what told to take his take away food to his room or outside which was a cold night then a crowd of people the following night brought in fish and chips pizzas and the bar maid was actually over eaten the chips from the takeaway and did not tell them to take the food outside. I think there should be one rule for everyone the same not a real for one and a different deal for another, I would like confirmation that you have received this complaint and that you have dealt with it And retrained the staff for the attitude and to make sure that the same rules apply to everyone. Myself and my friends were in room 200 we spent £330 for the weekend and felt it was a bit overpriced for the we were treated.

Food was good. Staff very polite and helpful. 5 stars Room 303 The rooms not so much decor very dated. The floor was uneven,Bathroom very small. The lift was the size of a postage stamp only room for 2 people. Stairs felt spongy when walking up or down. Hotel needs a total overhaul to bring it up to date.
