The Residence Bintan

Die Lage war weit weg, etwa 75 Minuten vom Fährterminal entfernt, aber sie gaben uns hin und her einen Keks und servierten uns Zitronengrasgetränk, als wir ankamen. Die Preise für das Essen sind relativ hoch, da es keine anderen Alternativen gibt. Das heißt, man kann nicht zum Essen das Resort verlassen, da das Resort weit außerhalb liegt. aber zum Glück ist das Essen lecker. Der Zimmerservice vor 22 Uhr war schnell, aber nach 22 Uhr mia.

Travelled to Bintan via ferry. Free shuttle bus provided to and from ferry terminal. The room was fantastic and very well cleaned. The private pool is nice although is not very private. The food was okay. Plenty of free activities around the resort and also paid activities. Overall it’s nice and services are very good. Would definitely recommend it for couples or family.

Had a lovely time with my partner during Easter weekend at the residences bintan. We got the sea view room it’s spectacular, staff were friendly, food was tasty, plenty of water activities to do. Will definitely go back on non peak season.

The whole experience was very amazing. The service was excellence! From the moment we stepped foot into Bintan Ferry terminal, we were greeted by the friendly staff and they just made us feel comfortable till the moment we stepped foot out of Bintan Ferry terminal. The moment we stepped on board the bus, we were given biscuit and cold towels and not forgetting the free wifi throughout our 75mins journey to the Resort. When we reached we were greeted by friendly staff and immediately we were lead to a room for our welcome drinks and check-in. The check-in process was fast but no room were available at 11 plus. We were told that our room would only be available at 2pm (it is already earlier as check-in timing is at 3pm) and the staff had advised us to walk around and go for our lunch first during the waiting time. It the end, we managed to get our lunch at 1pm (earlier then what they told us). What I like about the resort is that they update their activies and replies all through whatsapps. When we entered into your room, our luggage was already delivered there and the aircons were on. So it was already cooling.....weather in Bintan is HOT in Dec. Hahhahaa. The room was very beautiful and spacious. It was so amazing and romantic. It really make me don't want to leave the room. The food there was nice too. Although there is only two restaurant but they do have a great range of variety. And every evening, they have different dinner theme. The night I was there they had pasar malam night. Food stalls were setup at the open with tables and chairs and understand from the staff that the following night they were doing BBQ by the sea. Too bad, I'm only there for a night. They also have a huge breakfast spread. There are live music at the pool bar. Beside drinks, there are food serve there too. The live music is GREAT! It is really a pleasant stay!

The villa is spacious and comfy. There are cockroaches and lizards roaming around in the villa. Can call for room service and they will clear the cockroach and lizard for you. Service is prompt and good. In villa dinning is fast and delicious. We love their lobster soup!

Service: 10/10 Extremely polite staff who constantly check in with us. Once we forgot to tell them about our 15% off food and beverage discount, they apologised to us instead saying they forgot to check.🥹 We came here to have a short getaway for our one year anniversary and my husband's birthday and they decorate the bed + give us free cakes to celebrate our special occasions.😇 Food: 10/10 We love the restaurant and food here as compared to the other resort we went to. Although the other resort was still really good, the residence bintan restaurant seating arrangement caters to smaller groups and privacy instead of grouping everyone within the same huge table.😊 Facilities: I must say, I am slightly disappointed in their facilities as I actually feel bored because there were almost nothing to do here :( I understand that the residence bintan is quieter as compared to the other resorts and probably people choose the resort to chill and stay in their rooms. But they still need to have sufficient activities for the younger ones I feel. Since their resort is more towards the 'natural environment' concept, a lot of activities are based on the weather, the natural causation of the sea water such that there can only be water activities during high tide which is early morning. By around 11am, all water activities are ceased due to low tide and then there is nothing to do already, apart from swimming which how long can we swim in a day right?☹️ Yes we can travel out for activities but as we are already at the most inner part of the land, travelling out can take up to one hour which is quite burdensome too. So yup, these are some of my experience here. Nevertheless, I will still recommend the residence bintan for couples and families who just want a quiet and tranquil resort for a short vacation. (P.S. this resort is really quiet as there are not much music anywhere, not even the lobby HAHA).🙊

The staffs are all helpful and friendly. They remember us and the food are great. The villa is very clean, we enjoy our stay. The decorated our room for birthday and sent us yummy complimentary birthday cake. Frazil even got us a tandem bike temporarily at the pool side for our use as our bike are parked at the villa side. We love our morning yoga, followed by ATV, jetski, other watersport activities.

Nothing to complaint about this resort. Just that the location is very far away from bintan ferry terminal or tanjung pinang ferry terminal. Overall this hotel provide excellent service. From the moment we arrive at the ferry terminal, to the transport which provides cold towel, glass bottle of water and cookies. When we arrived at the resort we were given lemongrass water and the waiting time for our room was fast. They provide buggy services which u can just whatsapp them or call them. In room dining was perfect. My partner love the burger so much. We booked the beachfront villa. Very clean spacious and nice view. Love the infinity pool. Ig worthy. Dinner at Rica Rica was nice just a bit too dark outdoor. Food was delicious. We then head to the pool bar where they have live band. Very nice. We drank a lot and had our desserts there too. The infinity pool at pool bar is huge. U can swim at night too. Overall I love the resort so much!
