I had an amazing experience at the hotel! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and friendly staff who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. We stayed in mid September, choosing this hotel from reading reviews, its quiet location and outside pool. Reception staff were all excellent, very friendly and helpful with suggestions and answers to our holiday questions. The hotel building is a stunning art deco design with a spectacular huge central atrium containing many sofas and tables, a bar area that leads into the restaurant area. We sat outside for breakfast ( weather permitting !) and the breakfast quality and varied selection of hot and cold food was superb. The golf room was lovely with views of the near-by golf course with countryside views in the distance. The room was a good size with an excellent bathroom, 2 basins, separate toilet,( + large flat walk-in shower). Lots of storage for clothes, a safe and fridge. Many room options in this hotel- the front facing sea- view rooms are brilliant for example. A large outside pool sunbathing area is an advantage for this hotel. The luxurious sun beds are the most comfortable we’ve used. The hotel location as reviews mention is at the top end of a very long hill from the centre. It takes about 10-15 minutes. 2 walking options; one is to walk along the main road path all the way or secondly to walk down the path for about 5 minutes then take one of the steep wide steps on the right of the main path down to the beach/ promenade and continue walking on a wide flat beach promenade all the way to the centre. ( one note - there is an area near the Hotel du Palais when the promenade goes under the hotel and where the waves come up to this path and the sea does make this part wet when the tide is high and sea is rough). The walk back uphill is a slow hard walk along the main road path or again use the flat promenade then take the steep steps up to the main road path again where you walk for the last 5 minutes to the hotel. The locals mostly cycle using electric bikes - you know why after walking around! There is an excellent free bus (N11) that stops outside the hotel and goes directly into the centre ( the return bus stop is outside too). It’s perfect except that it doesn’t run very late in evening. Getting the local taxis in Biarritz is near impossible - not many and they don’t always turn-up. Also they’ve resisted other competition from Uber etc ( even less of these & again not reliable) so that is a major negative for us in this town. We used the excellent buses and train services ( e.g. direct bus to Bayonne & train to Saint Jean de Luz) . The uphill location could be difficult for some people but the quiet location and the hotel facilities and proximity to the lovely walk to the lighthouse area close by are advantages to smaller central hotels. A luxury hotel with excellent staff. Highly recommended.

We arrived Hotel Le Biarritz in the middle of the night, desperate to get a room for the night for 2 adults and 3 kids, due to our originally booked apartment hotel next door gave us cardkeys that were not activated upon arrival. The reception was closed and the telephone number in case of ”emergency” was turned off after midnight. We were warmly welcomed by a very nice man, unfortunately I do not remember his name. We got 2 rooms with a very good discount and the 3rd room for free. The children were hungry, so we asked if we could buy some snacks. He offered us pancakes. He went to the kitchen and came out with a trey full of pancakes, yoghurts, and 3 different sorts of cakes and water. He also asked if we wanted breakfast in the morning, but we were not sure we would make it in time, so he told us we can have the breakfast for free. We also had access to the pool the day after. Unfortunately we didn't have time to try it. Our rooms were small, but nice and clean. (I see from the pictures on their website that they have bigger rooms with balcony). In the morning we got breakfast while the kids were still sleeping. We then got a little basket we could bring to the room with full of croissants for the kids. If it wasn't for the already paid apartment hotel, we would have stayed in hotel Le Biarritz for the rest of our stay in Biarritz. We have never ever experienced such a nice welcoming and service in any other hotel we have stayed at before and strongly recommend this hotel for the service and location. It is located near the beach, 5 min walk. 10 min walk to the grocery store and other nice restaurant. The bus stop is also located right outside the hotel. You can also walk all the way to the city on a sidewalk right by the beach. We would definitively one back to hotel Le Biarritz.

Es sind neue Wohnungen, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, das Sofabett ist neu und es ist nicht teuer zu fahren. Das Zimmer ist sehr einfach, aber gut, die Terrasse ist sehr groß und komfortabel. Sie hinterlassen Haustiere für mich ein plus. Es gibt Platz zum kostenlosen Parken im Bereich, obwohl im Sommer auf der Spitze sein wird. Der Spa gab uns keine Zeit, es zu nutzen, eine Schande. Es dauert etwa 20 Minuten, um zu Fuß zu gehen, aber der Bus 38 kommt. Wir waren froh. Eins zu verbessern, Nachts gibt es wenig Licht beim Aufstieg zum Eingang Sonnenlicht oder so etwas würde dankbar sein. Der richtige und angenehme Empfangskind.

Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer gebucht, wie Einige meiner Reisegenossen auch, doch ich bekam ein riesiges Familienzimmer mit 2 Doppelbetten, das regulär 509,- € pro Nacht kostet ohne Frühstück. Die Aussicht ging direkt aufs Meer. Die Ausstattung war chic und hochmodern. Auf der Dachterrasse befand sich der beheitzte Pool und man hatte einen Blick über die ganze Stadt und das Meer bis zur Villa Belza und den Leuchtturm. Das Restaurant war nur zu den Essenszeiten über den Aufzug Ebene M erreichbar und die Speisen waren von höchster Qualität. Alles in allem nicht zu übertreffen! Wir hatten Glück und kamen zum Jazzfestival an. So wurden wir sogar von einer 4-Köpfigen Combo begrüßt. Schön dass wir hier 3 Nächte bleiben konnten.

Was für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt im Hotel Edouard VII in schöner Biarritz, Frankreich. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen und in Spazierweite von allen Restaurants, Stränden und der alten Stadt. Leider konnten wir nur eine Nacht bleiben. Ein klassisches historisches, renoviertes Haus mit großen Bereichen für ein Glas, Tee & Kaffee. So passiert es, dass wir einen iPad im Zimmer verlassen. Nachdem wir verlassen wir kontaktierten das Hotel & Coline war so nett, um den iPad zu unserem Haus in New York zu übermitteln. Sie hat wirklich die zusätzlichen Meilen und Anstrengungen gegangen, um das zu tun. Sie sind so responsiv mit hervorragender Service & würden einen Aufenthalt dort empfehlen. Wir sind sicher, in naher Zukunft zurückzukehren.
