Peking ist für chinesische Verhältnisse eher teuer, da viele Touristen herkommen. Ich hatte dieses Hotel gebucht, da ich mir unsicher über die Hotelstandards in China war, und diese Marke aus westlichen Ländern kenne. Mein Fazit: Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unglaublich gut. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Nachdem ich ihnen meine Situation mit der frühen Ankunft des Fluges erklärt hatte, durfte ich früher einchecken (Verfügbarkeit von Zimmern vorausgesetzt). Nicht alle sprechen fließend Englisch, fragen aber proaktiv nach Problemen und Wünschen. Die Ausstattung ist grandios. Man wird mit kostenlosem Wasser versorgt, Fitnessstudio mit Ausdauergeräten und Kurzhantel ist zwar eher dezent, aber für ein Hotel ausreichend gut ausgestattet. Wäscheraum (kostenlos) ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Außerdem gab es das beste Frühstück (sehr große Auswahl), das ich in China und eins der besten Frühstücksbuffets, das ich je hatte. Das einzige, das ich bemängeln kann, ist die Lage. Es ist etwas abseits der Metrostation (Communication Univ. of China), etwa 15 Minuten Fußweg. Von dieser dauert es aber nur weitere 15 Minuten mit der Metro in die Innenstadt. Ähnlich gute Hotels in der Innenstadt kosten aber deutlich mehr.
