Das Klima in Sanya fühlt sich überall feucht an. Das Hotel hat eine großartige Lage. Sie können in weniger als 5 Minuten zum Pier laufen, um an Bord des Schiffes zu gehen. Es ist die beste Lage in der Nähe. Der Parkplatz vor dem Hotel kostet maximal 6 $, was viel besser ist als der Hotelparkplatz. Das Wichtigste ist, dass das Frühstück nur 10 $ kostet. Das hängt vielleicht mit dem Zimmer zusammen, das ich gebucht habe, oder mit meiner Mitgliedschaft. Kurz gesagt, dieses Frühstück ist das billigste. Andere Frühstücke kosten alle 40 $.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage und das Zimmer ist sehr sauber. Vom Balkon aus kann man das Meer sehen und zum Pier sind es nur zehn Minuten zu Fuß. Diesmal fiel es zufällig mit dem Sturm in Queensland zusammen. Der Flughafen und die Straßen waren gesperrt, und die Touristenattraktionen waren mehrere Tage lang geschlossen. Glücklicherweise war es ein gutes Gefühl, am dritten Tag an einem sonnigen Tag durch die Stadt zu schlendern. und schließlich konnte ich auf Green Island schnorcheln und schwimmen gehen.

Beautiful location, clean and thoughtfully designed room and bathroom. The amenities are all provided and the team is very professional. Nearby Esplanade, cafes, Woolworths. Parking spots are often available in front of the property on the street.

Ich hatte einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Pacific Hotel Cairns. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt – mitten im Herzen der Stadt, mit direktem Zugang zur Esplanade, den Nachtmärkten und Attraktionen wie dem Riesenrad. Alles ist fußläufig erreichbar, was die Erkundung von Cairns so einfach und angenehm gemacht hat. Das Hotel selbst ist sauber, komfortabel und gut gepflegt. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich, zuvorkommend und immer hilfsbereit. Abends herrscht in der Gegend reges Treiben, mit tollen Streetfood-Angeboten in der Nähe und einer wunderschönen Atmosphäre. Insgesamt ist es eine großartige Unterkunft, wenn man Komfort und Bequemlichkeit sucht und Cairns in vollen Zügen genießen möchte. Ich würde definitiv wieder hier übernachten!

The unit is adequate for my family of six for a 3-night stay. Basic necessities are generally met, and the overall stay was acceptable. However, there were several maintenance and usability issues that affected comfort. Some air-conditioning remotes were faulty or missing batteries, requiring us to swap between rooms to find working ones. The telephone/RJ45 connection head was also broken and left dangling, with wiring not properly connected, which gave a poor impression of upkeep. In terms of sleeping comfort, the beds are quite soft and the pillows offer very little support. The positioning of the electrical wall outlets behind the bed also made it inconvenient, as we had to shift the bed forward to access the sockets. For kitchen use, it would be helpful to provide basic dishwashing supplies such as a small bottle of dishwashing liquid and a sponge, especially when only a few items are used in the dishwasher. On a positive note, the bathroom facilities are in good condition. Water pressure is strong and hot water is consistently available, which made showers comfortable. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but there is clear room for improvement in maintenance and basic guest amenities.

Es war Ende November, der Beginn der Regenzeit, und ich kam um 4 Uhr morgens mitten in strömendem Regen an. Ich kam gegen 6 Uhr morgens im Hotel an und das Hotel war geschlossen, also fragte ich mich, was ich tun sollte , aber ein Gast im Hotel hat es für mich geöffnet.　　 Das Innere des Hotels war sauber und ich fühlte mich sehr entspannt. Ich konnte früher einchecken und der Service war sehr gut, aber es gab nur sehr wenige Annehmlichkeiten, nur ein kleines Stück Seife, Shampoo und Spülung. Kein Handtuchwechsel oder zusätzliche Annehmlichkeiten für bis zu 7 Tage ... Ich dachte, es müsste feucht sein, weil es Sommer war, dachte aber, dass es nichts zu ändern sei, da Handtücher in Australien selten gewechselt werden (wegen Wasserknappheit und um Ressourcen zu schonen). Ich dachte, der Standort wäre etwa 10 Minuten vom Hauptstandort entfernt, aber mit einem Kinderwagen im Schlepptau war es ziemlich weit. Ich denke, es war ziemlich gut, wenn man die Reaktion des Hotelpersonals und die Sauberkeit bedenkt.

Front counter were friendly and accommodating. Location was close to everything. Facilities and grounds were well kept. Just didn’t like having to take used towels down and hand them to reception and exchange for clean ones.

The Mantra Hotel has outstanding location. It is directly in front of the Woolworths supermarket - the best option in central Cairns. It's also virtually opposite (the esplanade side)the lagoon public beachfront swimming pool. Finally it's just a 5 minute walk from Cairns Cruise Terminal, with outstanding day trips to Green Island, Fitzroy Island and the Reef. I booked a sea view room. When you enter the room, you don't see the ocean, but a building across the road. However, the view from the balcony was amazing. The balcony overlooks the main features of lagoon on the sea front. During the day it is great view - the lagoon pools and sea in the background. At night you cannot see the sea (as to be expected) but you have the amazing lagoon lights, which makes it very desirable and even romantic. Our room was at the end of block, which overlooks a shopping mall (no car noise) - looking right from the balcony is the lagoon view and looking left is a mountain view. However, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm the sun comes directly into the balcony area, which means it unusable until sun sets. Of course if you don't mind baking in the sun on the balcony, this is not really a concern. The room itself is pretty basic. The mini fridge of OK and TV has domestic channels only - no cable TV for BBC/CNN. The bathroom is of a good size. There is combined shower & bath. However, when using the shower, it can slightly flood this bathroom. A shower curtain may be desirable because the glass panel is not sufficient enough. At $225 per night this hotel was not cheap and you can better deals by coming in the off-season OR going bit further down the esplanade, and choosing another hotel. The Mantra does have its own pool and it is wonderfully heated, with normal deck chairs you would expect at 4 star hotel. However, the pool gets very little natural sunlight, because it of its location between 2 buildings. Overall, the hotel has amazing location, and it is still recommended, despite the shortcomings mentioned. My final note: When we checked in, I was impressed with the level of service provided by the receptionist. She had a very welcome attitude and a wonderful personality.

Die Zimmerausstattung ist relativ alt und die Beleuchtung schwach. Hausschuhe und Zahnbürsten werden nicht bereitgestellt. Duschgel und Shampoo sind von schlechter Qualität. Das Zimmer war im ersten Stock und es gab Lärm. Es dürfte das Geräusch des Motors der Klimaanlage oder anderer Maschinen sein. Das Frühstück ist einfach und bietet nicht die Köstlichkeiten verschiedener Länder. Es gibt nur Brot, Obst und einige Getränke. Beim Check-in ist eine separate Kaution von 50 AUD oder 100 AUD in bar erforderlich.
