Hiding Space Westgate Apartments

Very nice apartment. New and well designed. Except is the noisy environment due to many night spots in near proximity. I was not affected but wife shared that noisy till about 3am.

這是我住酒店第一次給差評，這個酒店沒有前台，在街邊的一個門進去樓梯下有台平板要自己填一堆訊息資料非常麻煩，沒有電梯自己搬行李一步步走樓梯搬到自己樓層。奇葩的是房間沒有拖鞋，打電話問酒店送拖鞋核對了一堆訊息後半小時沒送來，我們又打給酒店，又重複核對一遍我們入住訊息叫我們等。半小時過去小孩被困到在沙發睡着。（等拖鞋上洗手間洗澡）。最後我們在四十分鐘後酒店告知我們説這邊英國的酒店都不提供拖鞋。我們一家在倫敦其他酒店人家天天提供，住過酒店的朋友都不用多説大家心知肚明什麼事了。晚上睡覺好像睡在馬路邊，因為酒店在公交車站邊。街上的人鬧到零晨兩點多。更加氣憤的事情是第二天我們吃完早餐想去看看教堂告訴酒店我們可能要晚半小時回到退房。結果酒店的回答是我們晚十分鐘就把我們的行李箱扔出去公寓外（街上路邊）住酒店真的沒受過這種氣。大家千萬千萬不要選這家灑店，這樣惡劣的服務態度酒店希望攜程能重新考核下再合作不然也是砸自己招牌。

4 of us (two couples) stayed in the penthouse on valentines day. 2 days before our visit, the host takes an additional £250 security deposit on top of what we already paid which was just under £400. I was not overly happy considering the price we have already paid in full but obviously it had to be done. Because of this security deposit I made it very clear to the host that I would be doing my own inspection of the property as soon as we arrive to ensure we would be getting the deposit back. However, upon our inspection there was A LOT of things wrong with the place considering the money. I sent a total of 11 photos of things that were wrong to the host within half an hour of arrival. But that wasn't even everything as I just wanted to enjoy our time away instead of having to check every single damaged thing. Some of these things included a broken window being held up by a towel, water leak marks on most of the ceilings, a leak from the roof top velux, cracked/chipped cupboards, chewing gum on a picture frame, a cigarette burn hole in a chair (which if they smell smoke when you depart this will cost an additional £150 on top. Which is fair enough but I'm sure its at the hosts discretion), the shower tray doesn't hold the water so that leaks, hair in the shower. The other couple couldn't sleep due to a constant dripping noise from god knows where. The hot tub was the main reason for our visit. With 360 views of Bath, it was beautiful, there was no real issue there. However, when I walked around the hot tub to be able to remove the cover, I fell through the decking. This piece of decking was simply just placed within secure pieces so you would never see it. So beware of that! Again we were made aware there was no lift but not told how tall the building actually was, so if you have respiratory issues please be aware. All in all, the stay was fine! But I wouldn't pay that kind of money again knowing I'm at risk of an additional £400 if they so wish to take it from you. And purely because of the standard I was expecting, it just didn't cut it really.

Apartment was clean and comfortable and location amazing. Unfortunately we had a top floor appartment so the water pressure was barely enough to shower and the bathroom smelt of sewage. But overall it was a good stay

Great apartment, lovely and clean good amenities. Fab location but check in emails not sent, thus there was a very fraught conversation had.

These apartments are really lovely and suited our needs perfectly. My friend was getting married and we were in opposite rooms so was very convenient. The check in process was easy and I paid a little extra for a late check out which was very welcome. The staff were very helpful and looked after our luggage for us while we went shopping. There were a few ******* but not enough to be a problem for us but might be for other people. Pros: Spacious apartment reasonably priced Well equiped and modern Lovely bathroom with amazing Cowshed products Great kitchenette Cons: The location wasn't the best. There was a bus stop right outside so could be difficult getting in and out of the building. Also, seemed to be where a few homeless guys congregated. The entrance to the shower is pretty narrow. If you're a little on the large side, I think you'd strugle to get in and out as the glass is fixed with a narrow opening. The water pressure (although probably outside their control) was awful. Just a trickle to brush teeth and I could never have washed my hair in the shower. Room wasn't ready quite on time which was frustrating trying to get ready for a wedding. There's no lift which is understandable but might be a problem for others.

The space is lovely but noisy. The building is near a number of pubs, which means weekend evenings are extraordinarily loud with broken glass sounds and drunk people shouting. There also a long distance bus stop outside so you hear the diesel rumblings of buses coming and going late into the night. Then we were awoken every day in the early a.m. hours to rolling trash carts, power washers and other happenings of the businesses below. Plus throughout the night, we could hear neighboring guests arrive to their room. While the bedding, towels, and dishes were clean, the floor was not. All of our white socks are now dirty and unlikely to return to white. It honestly felt gross walking around. The building also isn't as secure as you'd hope. The door to the street is very slow to close so if you don't intentionally close it, there's an opportunity for others to gain access to the building. All in all, we would not stay here again.
