Motel 6 Barstow, CA - I15 and Lenwood Road

For the price point you can't go wrong. Clean sheets . Room was a but run down but again for the price I was thrilled with it. Also there are smoking room available which I'm sure is a bonus for smokers

Arrived, Motel 6, Barstow Stayed 3-13-24 to 3-14-24 Decent enough for a bargain price. Don’t expect a lot of amenities that more expensive hotels have though. This is a motel after all, offering the basics, which is fine for the price. NOTE: if you like Black Bear Diner, be sure to look for it directly across the street once you’re at traffic signal, after you leave the motel area. Great service and good food. If you’ve never been there, beware, the portions are HUGE! And the biscuits are practically the size of a small cake! One breakfast plate is definitely shareable. PROS - When I first got here, I thought there was urine drops on the toilet seat. Called the front office and they sent House Cleaning up right away. Turns out it was just part of the cleaning solution that the cleaner did not notice. - Clean king-sized bed with the mattress completely enclosed in a zippered mattress protector, and then another mattress protector (like a fitted sheet) on top of that. - Checked for bedbugs, all clear. - Microwave oven - Mini refrigerator - Standard TV - Luggage rack CONS - No electrical outlets by the bed - Long bathroom vanity, however, only one sink instead of two. - noisy heater/AC combo - No Kleenex - no ironing board/iron - Teeny tiny bars of soap (so less waste) - very near freeway, noisy traffic, at least my room was.

The property was reasonably priced. It was mostly clean, except the floor was dirty and after our showers we had to clean our feet with moist towels before we got in bed. The rest of the night we wore socks or our shoes if we were getting out of bed. We just stayed one night before reaching our destination. It is very bare bones. Don't expect any extras of any kind other than clean towels, paper cups and an ice bucket. Micro and fridge and two tiny bars of soap for washing. Sinks are clean and so was bath and toilet. Again, the price is reasonable.

This motel 6 is fine for a night or two. It looks like a fairly new building and it's in good shape. It's not fancy, but the price is right. There are quite a few dining options very close bye.

Room is very clean and bed extremely comfortable. The location of the property is very convenient in regards to the freeway and many options for restaurants close by.

I have to say this was the cleanest, nicest Motel 6 I have ever stayed in! I wish all of them were this good! My only complaint would be the fridge rattled a bit (room 105)...it was a little distracting and I thought it might keep me awake but it didn't.

i stayed in 40 hotels all around the world in the last 10 years, this is the worst hotel to stay ever; when i arrived , i already paid my reservation and my booking was comfirmed, they refused to give me the keys till 7 pm till they solve their problem with *******, i asked the lady in reception that i need to go to rest room with my kids, she refused and said i cant do anything till ******* solve their problem, at 7 pm, she gave me the keys, when i entered the room, the floor was so dirty and sticky, ao my wife cleaned the floor with one of their small towels, and i have a pic for the towel after cleaning, it is black!!, the sink was leaking, i requested the room cleaning on daily basis, they said we only clean each 3 days and as my booking was 4 nights, so the room was cleaned only 1 time, there was 4 very thin pillow for 4 persons, i asked for extra pillow, no extra pillow, the lock for the restroom was not working, this was a horrible experience

Well I don't really want to complain it was just one night but I called the front desk to ask for an extra pillow and they told me they didn't have any mind you there was three very small pillows on a king size bed another thing the sheet had some yellowish colored spots on it. The bed was a very old spring mattress that was hard as a rock. I'm not expecting the best for what i paid but this place could really use some updating. Even if its just some beds and a few extra pillows.
