I would like to show my appreciation by taking this opportunity to thank everyone at the Taj for their hard work even down to the gardeners ensuring all guests needs are catered for. I would specially like to thank Subin for looking after our dietary needs, after the first night he cooked a meal for my husband and i after that we had full confidence to let him just get on with it, the meals he prepared for us were delicious. The hotel setting is just beautiful so much so we didn’t leave the hotel, apart from a lovely bike ride with a member of staff. Thank you all for a memorable stay.

Dieser Ort ist eindeutig vor seinem Blick. Unser Deluxe Lagoon Blickraum ist vor seinem „best by“ Datum. Die Möbel sind scharf, der Spiegel hat große Farben, das Zimmer hatte einen Duft, als wir incheckten, der Klimaanlage arbeitet nur in einer Einstellung - 19 Grad. Die Holzwerke wurden schrecklich repariert, die Glastür ist gelb mit Grime. Die Wartung und Wartung des Gebäudes erfordert offensichtlich ernsthafte Aufmerksamkeit. Dieses Resort hat einige sehr schöne Leute, die um das Gebäude arbeiten, aber leider hat der Generalmanager Mr. Sajish dieses Resorts unsere Erfahrung hier die absolut schlimmste Erfahrung, die wir jemals in unseren Leben hatten. Beim Einchecken wurde uns wahrscheinlich das schlimmste Zimmer im Resort gegeben, viel schlimmer als Zimmer, die weniger teuer waren als das, was wir reserviert hatten. Wir hatten HUGE Ratten, die außerhalb unseres Zimmers laufen, das Badezimmer war ein Außenbad mit NO TOURS, angeschlossen zum kleinen Außenpool, das wir hatten. Wir baten um Ausschaltvorhänge, und sie nahmen einige Stücke von schwarzem Papier in einige Fenster. Alles in allem ...Absolut schrecklich. Als wir um Zimmer wechseln baten, verweigerten sie, sagen, das Resort war voll. Wir änderten unsere Flugbuchung um einen Tag früh zu verlassen, und sagten dem Personal, dass wir nur 2 Nächte statt den 3 Nächten, die wir reserviert hatten, bleiben würden. Aber sie weigerten sich, ihre Fehler zu akzeptieren. Das Hotel und der GM Mr. Sajish weigerten uns die Erstattung der dritten Nacht und schloss die Haupttür zum Hotel, sodass wir nicht verlassen können, bis wir die Kreditkarte erhalten haben, die uns zwingt, für alle 3 Nächte zu zahlen. Dies war die schrecklichste Erfahrung, die wir jemals durchgemacht haben, und ich bin überrascht, dass die Eigentümer diese Art von Behandlung zulassen, die Gäste in einem angeblich 5-Sterne-Resort. Wir sind sehr enttäuscht über die Art und Weise, wie wir behandelt wurden, und werden nie wieder zu ihren Eigenschaften zurückkehren.

Best place in Kumarakom to stay in, had a great experience and we really felt happy with the service provided. Rooms were ultra clean and comfortable The staff were amazing and treat you like family, especially impressive service from Unni Kuttan. Truly Awesome and great experience. Im Dezember verbrachten wir 7 Tage im paradiesähnlichen Coconut Lagoon. Das Hotel bietet eine Vielzahl von Aktivitäten wie Yoga, Birdwatching, Meditation usw. Im Ayurveda Center konnte ich auf mich abgestimmte Behandlungen genießen. Mein herzlicher Dank gilt Sulabha und Vineetha, die mit Ihrem Können aber auch mit Ihrer Herzlichkeit mir eine wundervolle Zeit bereitet haben. Sowohl das Ayurveda Center wie auch das Hotel mit seinem riesengroßen parkähnlichen Garten/ Umland liegt in den backwaters von Kumarakom. Idyllischer geht es kaum. Das Essen fanden wir auch beeindruckend lecker und das Personal hat uns alle Wünsche erfüllt. Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels hatten einen großen Anteil mit ihrer Art daran, dass uns der Abschied sehr schwer gefallen war. Nichts war unmöglich und keine Bitte zu viel: sogar als mir die Matratze im Bett zu hart war, haben Sachin und Hari es mit Hilfe von Shynima fertig gebracht, mir eine Matratze zu besorgen, auf der ich glückselig schlummern konnte. Fazit: ein Traumhotel mit Personal, wie *** es sich nur wünschen kann, eine tolle Küche und ein Ayurveda Center, das in nur 5 Tagen erreicht, dass *** sich spektakulär gut erholt fühlt.

It was a lovely trip. For us all the restaurant staff (especially Prisuna and Chef Arun) made the stay as memorable as possible. In a previous review, someone said the staff make up for the shortcomings of management and I can attest to that. We were there to celebrate my birthday and the F&B manager, Prisuna, and Chef Arun went out of their way to help my fiancé organise the most memorable and beautiful birthday celebration yet. I have many dietary requirements and they've always gone beyond and above to adjust the menu to my needs. I'm so grateful to all of them. The location is absolutely beautiful and serene. It's a real gem. You can also book a houseboat experience through reception. It was a nice touch and pleasant surprise to plant our very own sapling before leaving the hotel. The rooms are very comfortable. There are a few things that you'd expect of a five star that you won't find - i E: no minibar or slippers in the room, but it's not serious enough to knock off a star. The staff's kindness, attentiveness and willingness to make this the best stay possible is what stands out.

Einer der Highlights des Resorts ist definitiv die Poolit’s Stunning und fügt so viel zu der Gesamterfahrung hinzu. wenn Sie besuchen, Ich empfehle sehr die Wahl für die Pool-View Villas; sie bieten eine unschlagbare Aussicht und Atmosphäre. Das Essen war lecker, mit einer Vielzahl von Optionen, wenn auch etwas auf der preiswerten Seite. Das sagte, Die Qualität mehr als für sie gemacht. Good location with good facilities and access to all amenities surrounded by organic farm , nature at its best.
Good service through out and personalised care by friendly staff.
Freshly cooked homemade tasty food served to your room and relax in front of the room looking over the lake with boats passing by and beautiful sunset views.
The best part was the relaxed private sunset boat ride on the lake for two of us with stunning views starting right in front of our cottage.
Susan Salin and team have done a wonderful job in making avail of this wonderful property for fortunate few like us.
Special thanks to Asha and Arjun who were always helpful and giving us information of local tours and cultures. Not to forget those amazing cooks who cooked meals as per our taste

GGastnutzerMe and a colleague booked this resort for a 1 night stay on 18th September through MMT as part of a business meeting with a client based out of Kottayam. We were traveling from Bangalore and reached the resort at 12pm as per the check in time stated in the booking confirmation, but from reception it was told that they've recently changed the check in time to 2pm however it wasn'tcommunicated to us. After talking and waiting for about half an hour they've alloted the room. Below are our specific experience at Paradise Resort, Kumarakom: 1. Food options in the menu weren't available. Said that there is a party going on for another group, so cheff is busy with that and only limited items are available for other guests. 2. We were having a beer sitting at the varantha of our cottage. Then a staff came, said that he's the GM of the resort and told us there is a police officer and group of friends staying in the resort (two cottage after ours), so we cannot have beer in our cottage's varantha. But this group of people were enjoying drinks in front of their cottage and walking around the property with liquor. So we had a little bit of argument, and our point was ”the rule within the resort should be same for all guests.” The GM wasn't ready to accept that and behaved us in an unprofessional tone. After vacating, we've booked Abad Whispering Palms (a nearby resort) and stayed there overnight. It was an amazing experience at Abad and from all staffs. 5. Overall, Paradise Resort management should give some sort of hospitality training to their staffs. I believe some of the reviews they've on google or other booking platforms are paid reviews. At present this resort doesn't even qualify for a 1 star rating.
