RRaisha MichelleI highly recommend staying at this B&B! The location, service, hospitality, facilities, amenities, and design are absolutely impressive. We visited for a family trip (Kunming - Lijiang - Dali - Kunming) and stayed at Mogu House Inn (Dali) for 2 days and 1 night. Since there were 15 of us, it was quite a challenge to arrange transportation, we would have needed 4-5 Didi cars to accommodate everyone and our luggage. I contacted the hotel in advance to request pickup and drop-off service, and they gladly helped arrange vehicles for us. They provided two large vehicles, one for our luggage and another vehicle that comfortably fit all 15 of us. Upon arrival, the Mogu Inn owner & their staff welcome us warmly & politely, they even help to carry in the luggage's for the whole family to our rooms, which is a really big help and we appreciate it very much. Cleanliness : Spotless clean and comfortable. Service : Excellent! The owner is attentive, enthusiastic, and incredibly kind. All the staff are friendly and approachable. I’m personally thankful to the receptionist young lady who assisted us throughout our stay, she even arranging last-minute transportation for us to explore Dali city. She was responsive, kind & attentive. Everything you requested or asked she will do her best to help you. So much appreciated. Breakfast : Complimentary. This was the only hotel on our trip that included breakfast, which was greatly appreciated for breakfast person like our family. Location : Great location. Near to the west gate of ancient city, walking distance. The hotel surrounded by many restaurants, shops & supermarket, making it incredibly convenient to walk everywhere for food, drink & entertainment. Transportation : Excellent! Just text them via Wechat request for pick-up or drop-off service, they will promptly assist you. Facilities : The facilities here were amazing! The beds & pillows are soft, hot water well functioning (no need to wait for showering), the soundproofing was excellent. The room is voice intelligent, fully automated with smart voice control for the curtains and light, our whole family was incredibly amazed. Decoration : Breathtaking! The inn is beautifully decorated from the exterior to the rooms, very aesthetic and stylish. My whole family was amazed! Extra Note : We were pleasantly surprised that the washing machine and dryer are free to use, unlike other hotels we stayed at. This was especially helpful for our group, which included children. In summary, our stay here is beyond expectation. The warm & attentive service and hospitality we received from the owners and the receptionist was truly heartwarming and has created unforgettable memories to us. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit to Dali and recommend it to friends and family.

Rric123The guest house owners were very initiative. They picked us up from the Dali Railway station. The rooms were clean. Since there are 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 kids, we had a big room and a smaller room joined together with 2 large beds. The view was amazing. Upon arrival, it was 4.45pm, and we asked for recommendations of where to eat. However, since it's neither dinner nor lunch time, the owner Mr Hao suggested that we eat in the guesthouse itself. The guest house auntie cooked for us the best rice noodles that we have eaten so far. Springy white noodles in a bowl of hot flavourful broth. My kids slurped it all up and polished the whole big bowl. When we asked for recommendations on local eating places, Mr Hao gave us a whole list of his specially curated food places, which we managed to try 2 of them. And indeed they were good. The downside was that there were no coffee or tea sachets in the room. But they said they will make it for us and can send it to our rooms. They mentioned that they have a tea room. And so we enjoyed the 2 types of brewed puer tea while Mr Hao explained a little about the tea. Personally, I feel that since they have a special tea room to enjoy tea, sending sachet or tea bags would be inappropriate and a disrespect to the art of enjoying Puer tea. Location wise, it has a good view of the lake. And it's quiet. It's not exactly near the old town but we took a taxi (20 mins) to the old town. Thankfully, we didn't stay at the old town as it's way too crowded, and we felt it's a tourist trap. However, near the guest house, there were many highly recommended restaurants. The guest house has a dining area on the 1st floor. One thing that I really enjoyed about this place is the dining area. The lady that cooked the meal for us looked like a typical chinese grandma (which reminded me of my late grandma) that she cooked the food so deliciously with passion. While we had our breakfast she would sit at another table, she wasnt staring , just casually sitting while browsing her phone or ensuring we finish our food but her presence reminded me of when my late grandma would sit and watch us eat to ensure we have no leftovers. Lol. It was an oddly familiar and nostalgic feeling that we laughed about. But we do get the homey feel, which we really liked. The guest house also had a laundry room for guests to use. The guest house owners were very initiative, friendly, and helpful. Anything we need, we just let Mr Hao know, and he would reply. He even offered to send us back to the highway station. It's definitely highly recommended. And I would ask my friends that should they come to Dali, they should stay in this place. It's just perfect for us.

NNEWJCloud House Hotel is hands down the best lakeside stay we've ever experienced! From the moment we arrived, the service was beyond 5 stars — the staff were incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely caring. They even came to pick us up and carried our bags, which was such a thoughtful touch. When we wanted to explore the lake on an e-bike, they not only showed us where to rent one but also helped communicate with the rental shop. Truly above and beyond! In the evenings, they served delicious snacks and even prepared a comforting midnight soup — it felt like home. One of the most memorable moments was when I requested a piece of cake for my kid’s birthday. The next morning at breakfast, they surprised us with a beautifully decorated plate and a complimentary slice of cake. My child was overjoyed and said it was the best birthday ever! The cake was not only thoughtful but also absolutely delicious. We were also lucky to be upgraded to a room with the best view — waking up to the stunning lake and mountain scenery was magical. The bathroom was modern, clean, and very comfortable. To top it all off, the whole hotel is beautifully designed and incredibly Instagrammable. There's even a super cute cat that made our stay feel even more homely and warm. Halal food is conveniently located just about 100 meters away, which was a huge plus for us. We absolutely loved everything about Cloud House and would come back in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommended!

Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by two staff members who waited patiently for us despite the chilly breeze. They efficiently took care of our luggage, ensuring a seamless check-in process. The rooms offered breathtaking views and a refreshing breeze, further enhanced by the delightful welcome tea break snacks. The rooms were well-equipped with essential amenities, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches, including a projector that allowed us to enjoy a fun karaoke session. To top it all off, the staff even prepared an early breakfast for us, which was truly appreciated.

GGastnutzerA Perfect Score! 10/10 I seldom wrote reviews but this hotel had me want to write one. If you are coming to Dali and is overwhelmed by the sheer amount of hotels, just book this one. Why? Let’s dive in. 1) Location: 10/10. Just at the beginning of the famous S-bend along the ecological corridor and half distance to Dali Ancient City and Xi Zhou Ancient City. Both 10km away. Away from crowds but close enough to sightseeing places. Easy to get a didi. 2) View: 10/10. The er hai Seaview is your window in the room, frameless full glass. Best part, watch the sun rises each morning at the comfort of your bed.. Trust me, the view is incredible. 3) Room comfort: 10/10. The decor is 5 stars luxe. Full glass bathrooms, lush bedding, hansgrohe shower systems, 50 inch TV, built in air conditioning, automated toilet, smart home system. What can you asked for. Even the bath towel is Ritz-Carlton standard. 4) Service: 20/10. Yes 20/10. They have exceeded the golden standard. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, their service is nothing short of amazing. They appear when you need them and you won’t see them when you need privacy. I think they are not trained to say ‘no’ to your request. I am surprised they served us dessert to our room without us requesting for it. 5) Amenities: 10/10. A whole fridge of beverages and beer and ice creams at your disposal. Help yourself anytime of the day at absolutely zero costs. Bring the whole fridge home if you want. 6) Breakfast: 8/10. Mini buffet style and I must say it’s good for China standard. The only downside is the breakfast area, small and noisy. For the price we paid, it is a clear bargain for the hotel.

They had provided us with a free pick up from the Dali Railway station to the hotel and free drop off at the Dali Airport which we greatly appreciated. Upon our arrival, they assigned a personal concierge 小婷 who was very helpful and see to all our requests were attended to. We booked an MPV with driver through the hotel to take us on a day tour to Shangri-la which we had an enjoyable journey and time there. The hotel dealing with their service provider for the Car & Driver are very open and above board. We had made a mistake to make payment to the Driver at the end of the day instead of through them which may have cause them to double check us. The Front Desk Service Staff clearly explained to us and help to resolve the issue it promptly and professionally. Their breakfast provided had a very good spread and selections. They were good and nice. We had dinner at their restaurant after a tiring day out. Their restaurant Service Staffs were very nice and attentive. The food were all fresh prepared and cooked to our order. Even though there was only one cook on duty that night, the wait time wasn't too long. All the dishes were very well presented and delicious. We all had a thoroughly great and enjoyable dinner. Picking on some minor issues, we had booked 2 rooms with mountain view but allocated one with mountain view and another one with a courtyard garden view and half blocked view of the distance mountain. (Room 8106). This room somehow seem to be colder than our daughters room even though we tried adjusting the air conditioning temperature up but it just doesn't warm up enough. Overall, we had a very nice and enjoyable stay here and will definitely consider stay here again on our next visit to Dali.

MM48353****Ich war mit meinem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden. Die Rezeptionistin war unglaublich freundlich. Sie half mir mit meinem Gepäck und bereitete köstliche Mahlzeiten für mich zu. Das Hotel bietet Frühstück und Nachmittagstee an, sodass Sie Ihre Lieblingsgerichte auswählen können. Es gibt auch zwei süße Katzen. Im zweiten und dritten Stock gibt es kleine Gärten, die sich perfekt zum Fotografieren eignen. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls hervorragend, direkt hinter der March Street. Die Altstadt ist nur wenige Minuten bzw. einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt. Am Fuße des Cangshan-Berges gelegen, ist dieses B&B viel ruhiger und komfortabler als die anderen B&Bs in der Altstadt von Dali. Auch die Aussicht ist außergewöhnlich. Der Erhai-See und die Berge dahinter sind unverbaut. Online-Taxis können direkt vor die Tür fahren, was sehr praktisch ist. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Das Personal war außergewöhnlich und sorgte dafür, dass sich jeder Gast willkommen und gut aufgehoben fühlte. Ihre Liebe zum Detail und ihre Gastfreundschaft haben das Erlebnis wirklich bereichert. AAnonymer BenutzerSehr empfohlenes Hotel! Nur 7-10mins Spaziergang vom Bahnhof. Von der Station können Sie das Hotel über die Straße sehen. Nehmen Sie einfach die Überbrücke und Sie sind dort. Wir nahm das Dreibettzimmer und es kommt mit Frühstück. Viele halale Restaurants um das Hotel. Die Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und erlaubt uns, früher um 1 Uhr und spät um 4 Uhr zu prüfen, da unser Zug um 530 Uhr war. Es liegt im Zentrum, 30 Minuten Taxi nach Ancient City oder Dali Santorini. Du wirst nicht bedauern, hier zu bleiben!
