GGastnutzerBooked Deluxe King Room with breakfast included. Room was spacious and breakfast was great. Yet the standard of housekeeping was far from satisfactory. First, hairs were found at the wrap for the wire of the hair dryer the moment I checked in, and small scrap of paper was also found on the inside of a towel. Without any notice/sign in the room about the hotel's green housekeeping policy (if any), towels heavily loaded on the hook and hangers in the bathroom were not collected even on day 3 of my stay (there was no bath tub in the room to place used towels). Packs of cotton pads, cotton buds and small soaps were not refilled even when totally used up. Interesting enough, when enquired with front desk if that was the hotel's policy not to so collect the towels and make the refill unless express requests were made, the answer was in the negative.
The charging of tips for breakfast is another interesting issue. My husband stayed at the hotel for 2 nights (with breakfast included) before my arrival. When he checked out, he was asked to pay for tips for 1 breakfast. After clarifying if tips should be paid for 2 breakfasts instead, front desk apologized for having wrongly charged for any tips as all charges should have already been included when making the hotel booking. Yet on our checking out after 5 nights' stay with the hotel, we were told that we had to pay for tips for 2 days' breakfast. We again enquired about the hotel policy and explained that we were willing to pay but wondered why tips weren't charged for all 5 days for our stay. No explanation was given and the staff (probably thought that we did not want to pay) just advised that the charges would be waived.
I have stayed at Park Hyatt Bangkok and the service was excellent. Was thus surprised to had those experience at Park Hyatt Toronto.

GGastnutzerThis was perfect for me in every way- i felt welcome, safe, cared about as a guest & supported in every simple guest need possible. i cannot appreciate enough the affordability, hospitality, simplicity, cleanliness, tidness, friendliness & respect i experienced at Maple Grove Cottage- although I suggested, as a worthy brick establishment- the ”cottage” be renamed as an Inn! Location, transportation, Asian-canadian kindnesses, so near the beautiful lake, drugstore nearby & groceries with persimmon, fresh figs! icecream mochis, abundant fresh flowers & plants, Ubereats a few steps away?
I became acquainted with a new Toronto I had never really met before & totally enjoyed the streetcar, subway options, attention to fashion, & finally a mix of cultures& shopping with an appealing home base to return to.
As kitchen & lavatory may be shared with one or two others, it is up to guests in this gentle Inn to treat the shared spaces respectfully- a good practice for guests anywhere. & the luxury of a full kitchen? loose superb green tea? nicest people... clean dishtowels, sponges, ---& windows that can open to fresh evening air.. 2nd floor has a humble yet sweet rooftop balcony with a residential street view, ideal for morning tea/coffee or an evening sip beside the branches of a magnolia tree

NNgMoonIch war zunächst besorgniserregend über den Aufenthalt in einem ”alten” Hotel, aber meine Sorgen kamen zu Ruhe. Es war ähnlich einem Cottage-Thema mit sehr sauberen Zimmern und angemessenen Einrichtungen. Personal war immer sehr freundlich, Wir begrüßen uns, wenn wir das Hotel verlassen und zurückkehren, und reagieren unverzüglich auf unsere Hausaufbewahrungsanfragen. 10 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt, gibt es einen Park mit einem ruhigen Fluss, ein toller Ort zum Ruhen und von der berufsmäßigen Stadtleben zurück. Der nächste Bahnhof ist nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß und ein 30-45 Minuten Autofahrt nach der Stadt. Einige Nebenanlagen, es gibt neben dem im Hotel keine nebenangelegenen Restaurants und keine nebenangelegenen Supermärkte. Die Werkzeuge wurden nicht im Zimmer angeboten, so bereit zu sein, Ihre eigene Satte. Hotellifts scheinen ein wenig ausgeschaltet, aber hatten nicht unterbrochen während meines Aufenthalts. Insgesamt genossen ich meinen Aufenthalt angesichts der ruhigen Umgebung und erstaunlichen Service. Ich würde in Zukunft zurückkehren bedenken

Das Essen (im Casino) im Ca su al war gut.
Die Noodle Box?? war jedoch stark unterbesetzt. Die Wartezeit dort betrug etwa 40-45 Minuten und unsere Bestellungen waren falsch, als wir sie erhielten. Wir wollten nicht länger auf eine korrigierte Bestellung warten. Eine der Bestellungen war gut, die andere ungenießbar.
Haben Hamburger vom Big Smoke bekommen, die verbrannt waren.
Der Bagel von Tim Hortons war gut.

GGastnutzerThe hotel is ideally situated of the front of the lake with the ferries to the islands just outside. An underground stop is just across the road with links to Union station and elsewhere. There are also a selection of buses that pass and a hop on hop off stop is about 10 mins walk. You can walk most places in central Toronto from hotel if you wish and are happy walking. You can choose which street suits you best on your walk and change route for variation as only a block apart and will all get you to central Toronto. You are maybe about 15 mins from the Blue Jays and CN tower so hotel is in a great location. Billy Bishop airport is about a 20 min walk and would be convenient if you can get flights to or from there to your destination. The communal areas in the hotel look very nice, as is the entrance if being dropped off by car. However there is work going on around the outside of the hotel and if walking to and from the hotel it isn’t so pleasant on the eye. My bedroom was spacious but felt dated and would be nice to see a more updated look. However the view onto the lake more than made up for that minor irritation. The staff were all great and helpful when asked. There was various things going on from regular activities in the leisure area to free ice cream and wine ( not together unfortunately ) and music in the afternoon. The leisure facilities were great with a pool, sauna, steam room and gym as well as an outside area (5th floor) for sitting outside while the kids could play. There was a tennis court and a basket ball hoop. There was also an oppertunity to use cycles and go for a run possibly with a guide. We didn’t eat at the hotel so couldn’t comment but the did have a restaurant on the top of there south tower that would give great views. We did grab a coffee and snack from across the street and would enjoy sitting on the benches just along from the hotel looking into the lake in the morning. All in all one of the older hotels ( I think) in a great location with great views and facilities which met our needs.

No bottled water or coffee/tea in rooms.
They sent up a kettle but no mugs or teas bags so a bit pointless. Room service didn’t have any vegetarian options.
Very Comfortable bed and big TV, but only cable channels, would be nice to provide Netflix or other streaming apps.

GGastnutzerAlles war gut, außer dass die Warteschlange zu lang war, die Check-in-Warteschlange war super langsam, jeder musste zehn Minuten lang einchecken, ich weiß nicht, warum ich der Schnellste war, aber es wurde in weniger als einer Minute gelöst Minute.

XXiaomaobuxiangheshuiDas Hotel liegt relativ nah am Flughafen, etwa 5 Minuten mit dem Auto. Der Shuttlebus fährt alle 30 Minuten vom Hotel zum Flughafen, der Shuttlebus vom Flughafen zum Hotel verkehrt jedoch relativ unregelmäßig. Er soll alle 15 Minuten fahren und die Wartezeit auf den Bus beträgt fast eine Stunde. Die Umgebung ist relativ ruhig, das Frühstück relativ günstig und der Service des Hotelpersonals durchschnittlich.

Der Preis ist moderat, die Lage ist großartig, der Service ist rücksichtsvoll, es hat eine urbane Atmosphäre und es gibt zahlreiche kommerzielle Einrichtungen. Es hat Stil, Mode, gutes Aussehen und kann auch bestimmte Geschäftsanforderungen erfüllen als wäre es nicht leicht zu finden!
Ich habe wirklich in vielen Hotels in Toronto übernachtet: Die Hotels im Stadtzentrum sind sehr günstig gelegen, haben eine starke urbane Atmosphäre und sind sehr einzigartig, aber das Parken ist wirklich schmerzhaft Nur muss man weit weg parken, ziemlich teuer! Hotels in der Nähe des Flughafens sind im Allgemeinen günstiger, mit bequemen Transport- und Parkmöglichkeiten, aber es kommen und gehen viele Gäste und es ist relativ laut. Andere Hotels haben Angst vor einer schlechten Lage, einer komplizierten Umgebung oder einer niedrigen Kostenleistung Ich hatte jedes Mal Probleme, bis ich das Pan Pacific Hotel in Toronto entdeckte.
