For breakfast buffet, it was excellent. We had Malaysian style dishes, and mixed with typical western breakfast selection. This hotel have private access to clean beach and swimming pool to spend with kids. Poor mobile internet connections make we spend more time together. So far we had a great long weekend at Amerald Resort Hotel, Desaru, Johor.

The BBQ area at the beach side is really a good place to have family event though. We had so much fun having BBQ and family game at the beach side.

The view at the hotel is very beautiful, the accommodation is comfortable and my kids happy to have a holiday here.

Manpower not enough for cleaning. When check in, it took about 1.5hrs waiting fot the room to provide us.

The hotel is kinda old. The swimming pool tiles already drop off and there is a big crack between the kids pool and the adult pool. The swimming pool is very dirty as well. There is urine smell inside the toilet when we check in. I think it is due to the water drainage issue in the shower area. The bed is comfortable but I am suffering bed bugs bite on my leg now after I check out from the hotel yesterday. I am still suffering from the itchiness now. The sea side is full of rubbish. The basement car park is full of standing water pond everywhere.

Overall, staff are friendly and communicative to our requests for the change in rooms, and other miscellaneous items. Guests services staff, Sharifah was commendable in ensuring the problems that we had was rectified promptly. Breakfast options are average at best, can be improved. The restaurant Sea & Food was surprisingly very good, dishes were very delicious.

Good place... Location easy to access as it was located nearby main road... Near to beach... Recommend to stay at beach view...

Second time coming here. The first time I came everything was good and the view and the beach was nice but this time I was a little disappointed because the sheets and pillowcases all smelled so bad and the floor was dirty and wet with steam and I need to clean it up myself. Breakfast is very ordinary. Need more changes.

Good stay. Paid for seaview room. The only hotel at that area Like the beach Initially my room lock door had a problem, cannot child lock, eventually they come fix it right away. Room services food price was affordable. Tasty as well
