I rented an apartment at that mansion for five months (Dec 2020 to Apr 2021) as I worked at a school in Uttaradit. At first, everything was great. And the property's owner, Mr Nirat, was very polite to me. However, at the beginning of April, I knew that my father passed away. I got very depressed and, therefore, started drinking alcohol. One day the property's owner entered my apartment without my permission and found me lying drunk on the floor. My room was messy. He shouted at me "Go outside!". He even didn't allow me to pack up my stuff and tidy up the room. So, I was forced to leave my apartment, leaving all my belongings in the room. I went to another hotel and stayed there for a while. Later on, after about a week, I got back to the mansion to take my belongings and pay the bill for last month. The mansion's owner, Mr Nirat, has overcharged me. I paid off the bill and the mansion's maid gave me my belongings packed in the suitcase and rucksacks. Later on, I found that my photo camera (worth about 8,000 Baht), lots of my clothes and some other stuff (worth about 5,000 baht) were missing. I complained to the mansion's owner and asked him to compensate for my belongings that he or his maid had appropriated. But he ignored my complaint. My conclusion: the mansion's owner is a greedy, mean person and, highly likely, a thief. Disadvantages of my room: 1) slow and unstable Wi-Fi, 2) poor sound insulation between rooms.
