I booked this resort for some relaxation and this is exactly what I got from this resort. I ended upgrading to a Villa with my own private pool and view. The resort is a bit more pricy but it is worth every cent. The staff is super friendly and takes their time to know you. I would recommend this resort to anyone. It is pretty close to Ubud central and you can get a grab very easily to wherever you want to go. I wish I could’ve stayed longer here.

Die hygienische Lage des Zimmers ist nicht so gut, das Muster ist sehr schnell, die Vorratswaren sind Sensatia, ein Marke in Indonesien. Die Saftgeschmack ist sehr gut, und später ging ich zum Geschäft und kaufte ein paar Stücke. Die beiden Pools sind super klein, können nicht schwimmen, die Würmer können Fotos machen. Das gesamte Hotel verfügt über etwa 10 Zimmer, die keine Kinder akzeptieren. Die Isolierung ist schlecht, die Stimme draußen hört sich sehr klar, insbesondere das Zimmer neben dem Restaurant. Der Service ist gut. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist nicht hoch.

If you are on the fence about whether or not to splurge on LUXE Villas Bali, the answer is YES. Yes, you should splurge and stay here. I have stayed at some boutique luxury villas in Thailand (Amphawa, Khao Yai) and also several J.W. Marriotts (Hua Hin, Phuket). They can't hold a candle to LUXE Villas because the service here is exceptional and unparalleled! The staff is so kind and friendly. They know your name and remember you throughout your stay. The front desk is open 7 AM - 11 PM but they have 24 hr service via the WhatsApp concierge number, so I was able to talk to them in the USA to arrange the car before flying to Indonesia. Anything you could want, they can help you book it - private yoga, private massage, activities, car service, etc. We booked two excursions with outside companies; the LUXE concierge asked for the phone number of the company and from there, LUXE arranged the pick-ups for our excursions. For our early morning excursions Luxe either arranged a breakfast box, or they were able to take our breakfast orders the night before and serve us breakfast at 7:30/8. We met the owner, Paul, and he was also helpful in recommending places in town for us to visit. I asked him about the hotel - he and his wife built it from 2010 - 2014, and did ecological consultation to ensure everything is eco-friendly, including the filtration system, as you can drink from the tap. This is another reason why I chose to book this stay. The hotel is tucked away between picturesque rice paddies. It is located on a motorcycle-only road, but they have bikes to bring your suitcases. I saw families with young children (3 yo) stay at LUXE Villas, and the motorcycle drivers are very gentle when driving so don't worry if you've never ridden one before or have children. For each day you stay, they have a shopfront in town called Luxe Lounge, open from 1 pm - 9 pm. You can drop your shopping bags there to be taken back, or go there when you need to call a ride back to the hotel. If you return after 9 pm, just message the concierge on WhatsApp. The dining service (the Grill @ LUXE) was exceptional. I should write a whole post about the restaurant alone but our best meals in Ubud were here. The truffle mash was to die for! The cost is comparable to an upscale dinner in America but the food quality and service are much, much better. On the booking, I noted that it was our honeymoon and when we arrived we were greeted with a beautiful honeymoon flower welcome sign. They brought us straight to our room and gave us welcome drinks (cucumber refresher) while showing us the suite amenities. The suites are stylish and high-quality in furnishings and fixtures. Only once we finished the tour did they have us sign for check-in (I signed inside the room, not at the check-in desk), and they brought our suitcases up for us. Dieses Resort liegt ziemlich außerhalb des Stadtzentrums. Als ich dieses Resort buchte, las ich jedoch, dass das Hotel alle zwei Stunden einen Shuttleservice anbietet. Zu meiner Überraschung habe ich den Shuttle einmal genutzt und war überrascht, dass die Haltestelle nicht in der Nähe der Stadt war Zentrum, daher habe ich die Gojek die ganze Zeit benutzt. Abgesehen von ein paar Problemen im Restaurant, die gelöst wurden, habe ich das Spa und den Pool absolut genossen. Das Management Sassra und Karina ist sehr verständnisvoll und kümmert sich sehr um ihre Gäste. Sie geben sich alle Mühe, den Gästen die beste Gastfreundschaft zu bieten. Für Geschäftsreisende ist dieses Hotel sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir haben aber nicht viel Zeit im Zimmer verbracht. Das Internet war leider nicht sehr gut. Insgesamt hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt hier.

Der Platz ist spotless und das Personal ist hilfreich, willkommen sowie sehr aufmerksam. Mein Flug wurde um 5 Stunden verzögert und sie waren noch gratulierend, mich um 2 Uhr morgens anzumelden. Ich würde sicher zurückkehren, wenn ich wieder in Ubud.

We had booked a 2 Bedroom villa for 4 nights. The stay in the so called villas was nothing short of a nightmare killing all our holiday spirit. Actually the hotel was so terrible that i cannot stop writing a detailed review of it. Our problem with the villa started immediately after check in. 1) Both the bathrooms and bath tub had some fungus stains 2) The window shutters were not closing properly 3) Rosy pictures in television made it totally unwatchable. 4) Empty bottle of Mosquito repellent in room. 5) A couple of lights in rooms were not working. After complaining, the hotel front office desk people tried to do some temporary fixes and called me to talk to their manager, but later on retracted saying that manager already left for the day and promised to have an appointment with the manager the next morning. Meanwhile we had additional problems. 1) The head showers on both the bathrooms were not working 2) There was no milk/ creamer provided with coffee and tea bags( though on calling reception they later arranged some milk) which made us wait to prepare some coffee in the room. 3) The so called fruits like banana were so raw that it was inedible for human consumption. Actually the meeting with the manager did eventually happen on the second day evening but still some problems were not fixed. For ex the shower cock was so tight that our kids aged 11 and 9 also could not operate them independently for all days. The fruits kept in the room were still raw. Now coming to other general issues we faced in room during 4 days 1) Fungus stains on top of the bed on mosquito net 2) Stains also seen in sofa/ bedsheets etc 2) The pool inside the villa was not really clean with green algae seen here and there 3)The food refills in the rooms like cookies/ coffee powder were not replenished daily. Even toiletries were not refilled every day 4) House keeping not locking the main door after room cleaning looked bit scarry as we used to come back to room every day evening only. Now coming to breakfast, the menu was ala carte and fixed each day. The facial expression shown by couple of restaurant staffs on taking orders 1 after another made us think on whether we are really begging for food. Though the quality of food is decent, the service attitude shown by some of restaurant staffers negated it. In spite of all the pain and suffering we decided to continue in the hotel since we had pre paid for all 4 days. Lastly the shuttle service to ubud centre ( it is around 2 km from ubud) is only at fixed timings( every 2 hours) irrespective of the timing of day. It is really difficult to sync this time if we visit downtown for shopping or dinner.This is unlike many other hotels/ villas around the place which has shuttle/ buggy at higher frequency or on demand. Though the review is a bit lengthy, I wanted to give all the details which can be kept in mind by prospective guests. In summary this hotel/ villa is not worth staying even at the fraction of the cost
