Everything is ok just that the first welcome towel they gave to us has a weird smell. quite a small resort but welcoming and clean place , so far value is ok in the city but small rooms

This was our second stay and we stayed at the one bedroom pool villa. The villa is beautiful and spacious with a good sized pool. The staff here are friendly and helpful. It is very convenient to have the hotel’s shuttle drop you around Seminyak and the location is close to shops and restaurants. There is a good and tasty selection of Asian and western foods for breakfast to order. There is more than enough to eat every morning. The only inconvenience of this room is that the bathroom and living areas are semi-outdoors so there is no air con and it is open to mosquitos. The staff do come to spray the room every evening and they put mosquito coils there. However, for females, it is not nice to have to get ready in the heat and smoke (especially if you’re sensitive to the smoke smell from the mosquito coil). They don’t provide any mirror in the bedroom for you to get ready. The gym is very rudimentary as well, only a treadmill, bike and some weights in a small room. It would be good to add a cable machine to increase the amount of exercises that one can do. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at the Amala. Thank you!

I am genuinely overwhelmed by my experience at The Amala - it was one of my most memorable stays and I have worked in luxury hospitality for almost 6 years!! The kindness of the staff was beyond belief - I had an amazing time; from the delicious in villa breakfast, to the additional TV they added for me, and the courtesy car that dropped me at a moments notice to the upgrade to the honeymoon villa!! WOW - I cannot express how much all of it meant to me, and I couldn’t recommend this place more highly for the price. Thank you so much Amala ❤️

The room is amazing. Pool is nice! Very comfortable, clean, quiet and peaceful. Staff is very helpful and welcoming.

The view of the villa really nice and pretty. But the villa a bit outdated. And i found the staff of the villa a bit blur, like i told them will check out 1pm, but next day 12 pm already shut down the water. So i force to check out early. they forget to mark down what i told them earlier. The breakfast not nice. But overall everything still worth for the price. Remember book the free massage early, if not they always fully booked.

We had high expectations based on positive reviews, but our stay was disappointing. The one-bedroom was tiny, dirty, and smelled foul. We found bugs and dead flies on the bed and my boyfriend got bitten. There were too many mosquitoes, and no one helped us. In contrast, the villa we moved to had daily mosquito control and no pests. Even the staff were nice, I can’t overlook the hygiene issues. Overall, it was a disaster, and I won't be returning.

My stay at Amara in Seminyak exceeded every expectation—what a gem! From the second I stepped through the door, the staff’s genuine hospitality made me feel right at home. They were attentive without being intrusive, always ready with a helpful tip for hidden beach spots or the best local warungs, and even arranged a last-minute spa appointment for me effortlessly. The location is unbeatable: just a 5-minute stroll to the soft sands of Seminyak Beach and within walking distance of trendy cafes, boutiques, and nightlife—perfect for balancing relaxation and exploration. My room was spacious, immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated with a cozy, tropical vibe. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the private balcony with a small seating area became my favorite spot for morning coffee. The bathroom had lush toiletries and a powerful shower, adding little touches of luxury. The pool area was a serene oasis—clean, quiet, and surrounded by greenery, with plush sunbeds that made lazy afternoons feel like a luxury. And the breakfast? Fresh, varied, and delicious—whether I opted for the Indonesian nasi goreng or a classic avocado toast, it never disappointed. I can’t recommend Amara enough for anyone visiting Seminyak. It’s the ideal blend of convenience, comfort, and warm service. I’ll definitely be coming back! The only sad thing was that our room was nearby the busy road, very nosiy.

I strongly recommend this excellent accommodation which is nearer to Airport and it is good toward end of the Bali journey. It is a walking distance to sea side and shopping area that will not make you alive at night.

This hotel in Seminyak has a truly beautiful and artistic design—stylish, thoughtfully curated, and full of character. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and the location is great: close to restaurants, cafés, and shops, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall cleanliness and ambiance were excellent. One small downside for me was the outdoor shower setup. While it fits the tropical design, it can be a bit inconvenient—especially when it’s raining, as you have to walk outside and then back into the room. That said, it didn’t take away too much from the experience. I’d still recommend this place if you’re after a boutique stay with artistic flair and a convenient Seminyak location.

Location is superb. Service is very good. However, the in villa pool is in poor condition, safety issue especially with kid. Sharp end, tiles are movable, luckily no one get cut. Pool should stated the depth for safety purpose. After log in complaint, the management Resort Manager immediately meet and do recovery service and personally check the engineering repair on spot and rectify by same day. Pure heart hospitality and professionalism shown by a leader. Body massage, and facial are amazing. Foot massage best to improve. Love the menu concept in ADD, small portions and healthy food so we can order more and try different items. Thank you

Service is excellent and people are extremely helpful. Gym is very small, basically a treadmill and a bike plus weights. Breakfast is delicious. Common pool is a bit small but each room has is own private pool so we finally didnt even try the common pool.

It’s a good place to stay. Staff is polite and friendly. Environment is beautiful and peaceful. Spa is relaxed and comfortable but quite expensive which I am bit upset. Cleanliness may need to improve but fair enough for the price. Most impressed are they provide small stuff like shave kit, shower cap and tooth brush and paste which I didn’t see in some hotels for same price. Also, the breakfast is yum~Overall I am pretty happy with this hotel.
