Ich habe mir die Bewertungen hier angesehen und es ist ziemlicher Müll. Eine der Kellnerinnen war unfreundlich und ich habe im 2. Stock geschlafen und es war oben. Es gibt eine Öffnung, also lege ich ein schwarzes Tuch hinein, aber wenn ich das Tuch zurückziehe, ist es eine Asbestdecke. Ich huste ständig, sobald ich das schwarze Tuch berühre, um zu sehen, ob Asbestpulver darin ist. Es juckte. Ich tat mein Bestes, um es nicht zu berühren, schlief ein und wachte sofort auf. Es ist hier. Es ist kein Kapselhotel, sondern nur ein Café. Das Kissen, die Decke und der Boden waren alle völlig gelb und schmutzig, da sie nicht gewaschen worden waren. Sie sagten, sie würden ihren eigenen Teppich mitbringen und darauf schlafen, aber sie bedeckten ihn nicht einmal mit einer Decke oder benutzten ein Kissen, also legten sie einfach eine Matratze darauf und schliefen auf die schlechteste Art und Weise, die möglich war. Die Lage war nicht schlecht, weil es im Zentrum von Shinjuku lag, aber es war nicht sehr hygienisch, weil so viele Leute kamen und gingen, um dort zu schlafen. Ich wollte es nach dem Auschecken nicht reinigen, aber ich habe es einfach gemacht Ich nahm eine Rolle Klebeband und wischte sie ab, und das war’s. Ich werde nie wieder hingehen.

Für Passagiere von Nachtflügen sei der Preis recht günstig, das Hotel sei sauber, das Hotel habe eine Buchatmosphäre, die Passagiere seien leicht kooperativ, die Lautstärke sollte so gering wie möglich gehalten werden und es gebe einen Lebensmittelmarkt in der Nähe, sagte Li .

Enjoy staying but the location might not be very ideal and quite noisy at night

Splendid! If your piority is location, this is great! Convenience is key, all else is acceptable. All your hostel mates need to do theor part in keeping the premises clean thats a no brainer. + Towel change on request daily 👍 + Bring earplugs incase your neighbour snores ⚠️

The breakfast area is rather tiny can only accommodate 8 people and the paid breakfast was sandwich that was rather salty

Many customers but staff not friendly. Ladder for higher bunk is difficult to use. Breakfast not nice.

After staying at youth hostels in many countries, I found my experience at this hotel in Shinjuku, Tokyo to be very disappointing. I was initially attracted by the integrated library design, but the actual stay was far from pleasant. Firstly, on my way to the hotel, I was harassed by numerous nightclub promoters, leaving me exhausted. Upon arrival at the front desk, the staff's attitude was cold. When I handed over my passport, thinking it was required for check-in, the staff ignored it and didn't even bother to say that it wasn't necessary, making the situation awkward. Upon checking in, I discovered that the hotel is on the 8th floor, right above a noisy club street with blaring electronic billboards. Inside the hotel, the library café was playing music, which made it impossible to rest quietly. While the café's atmosphere might be pleasant for reading and coffee during the day, it was unbearable when I was tired and just wanted a quiet place to rest. Even after the music was turned off at midnight, the noise insulation in the sleeping area was poor. I could clearly hear other guests turning over, opening plastic bags, plugging in chargers, and walking around. Moreover, there was another bar upstairs adding to the noise. In terms of service, the hotel's design did not separate quiet and active areas, and the lights-out time was fixed at midnight. This was very inconvenient for guests dealing with jet lag, needing to make phone calls late at night, or wanting a late-night snack. Although there was a transparent activity room near the front desk, it was closed after midnight and used by the night staff as a temporary sleeping area, with no place available for making calls or eating. Regarding luggage storage, the hotel only allowed storage until 4 PM after checkout, charging extra for any time beyond that. I was charged an additional 1000 yen when I retrieved my luggage after 6 PM, something I had never encountered before. This policy is particularly inconvenient for guests with evening flights. Additionally, after checking out, I realized I had forgotten my toiletry kit at the hotel. When I inquired the next day, the staff claimed they hadn't seen it, which indicated a lack of concern for guest service. Given it was just one night, and there should be security cameras at the public washbasins, it seemed unreasonable. Overall, my experience at this hotel was far inferior to the youth hostels I stayed at in Osaka and Kyoto. The poor service attitude and environment left me very disappointed.

The hostel is nice and cozy, people is friendly and is near Shinjuku attractions and lots of restaurants

Absolutely loved this place, perfect location, fun environment. A little difficult to find in the midst of busy Shinjuku, the capsule however was not very well ventilated, other than that one of the funnest places I’ve stayed!

Located in the heart of Shinjuku, close to anywhere including the famous shinjuku station. A unique and iconic place to stay!

It was a great place to stay! We met lots of interesting people, and whenever we needed help, the staff was very helpful!

The bed is a bit crumpy and small. The books are great nevertheless.

No air conditioner not cleaning no light

I love this place but have noticed a progressive decline over the years. It is starting to show its age. The toilets themselves are clean, but the toilet room walls/doors need a damn good steam cleaning.
