Bali Mare Village

we had a great time especially because of the poul. and as for the waterpark it felt as if we were children again.also the stuff was really friendly and they seemed to be actually interested about our opinion and our prefferences. definitely reccomend it for a nice vacation

Travelled to Bali with my partner and stayed at Atali Grand Resort for 11 nights. There was a mixture of couples and families staying however other guests were predominantly French. Staff were friendly and helpful. The ladies on reception were always happy to help and staff at the bars and restaurant also really friendly. The main pool area is lovely and well maintained. However Pool toilets not great and often unclean. We found the second pool (across from the main part of the hotel) to be quieter and not as well maintained as the main pool. Main pool can be lively as there are activities throughout the day which were well participated in by guests. We travelled in June, I believe the hotel was full and there were never any issues with getting a sunbed. No pool towels provided. Beach is approx 4-5 minute walk. We rented 2 sunbeds and an umbrella some days which cost €12 provided by a beach bar. Rooms are modern and kept clean, although our room was quite small. Food was overall very nice, lots of options each night and freshly cooked options. Also lots of choice for breakfast including fruits, meats, cheeses, croissants, fresh crepes and hot food. Some evenings we queued for a table however generally no longer than a 5 minute wait. Drink options are limited, mainly Raki or Ouzo cocktails. Other spirits such as Vodka/ Gin/ Rum are not available in the all inclusive. Animation team and activities are ran throughout the day. French is the main language spoken and I felt more inclusive for the French guests. The area is small but beautiful. It is hilly but views are incredible. Lots of supermarkets, gift shops, restaurants and bars. We particularly enjoyed Mambos Beach Bar and Restuarant and Baboo Beach Bar, food and cocktails amazing. You can access Heraklion and Rethymno via a bus that runs every hour although not 100% reliable, it is also better to pre-book as if full, you have to wait for the next one. Bus to Heraklion takes around 50 minutes. There are excursion companies in the village, we did the daily catamaran cruise which was well worth the money. We also visited Melidoni Cave which was lovely.

It was one of the best hotels I've ever been. Clean and cosy rooms, tasty food for every picky person, lots of activities on ground and in the pool. incredibly friendly personnel from managers to chambermaids. And the best animation team - Othman, Theo, Ange, Hedi and Thibault. Guys did their best so no one was boring.

We came from Ukraine on vacation, primarily to improve the health of the child. We liked everything: the accommodation, the hotel room, the kitchen and especially the water park. It was very difficult to get the child out of there. Special thanks to the staff of the water park, it is quite clean. When the child injured his leg, they immediately provided help, it is very important! We will definitely come again!
