I had such a pleasant stay at Novotel Yangzhou City Centre! The rooms were super clean and comfy — everything felt fresh and well taken care of. What really made the stay special was the amazing service. Honestly, it felt like I was staying in a hotel way beyond 5 stars. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and I want to give a big shoutout to 小杰 — He was incredibly warm, attentive, and made me feel so welcomed. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guests and goes the extra mile. If I ever visit Yangzhou again, I’ll definitely be staying here. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a great experience!

Die Lage ist gut, komfortabel und an einem sehr guten Ort gelegen. Rezeption war ausgezeichnet, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer war schön dekoriert, geräumig und sehr sauber. Wäscherei war mit hochtechnischen Einrichtungen ausgestattet und die Einrichtungen waren umfangreich und nützlich.. Ich bin sehr beeindruckt und würde Freunden definitiv empfehlen, in diesem Hotel zu bleiben. Ich gebe eine Bewertung 5-star 😊

I had a great stay in this hotel. The hotel is clean, calm, and well equipped. The gym had enough equipment and was clean and neat. The breakfast was very nice and there is a coffee machine. The staff was vey nice too.

The lobby is well heated. A coffee machine is found in the lobby. This is the only hotel that provides one in the lobby of the seven hotels that we stayed in. The coffee machine offers only espresso and americano. On arrival, we opted to push our luggage on the ram so as to avoid lifting them while walking up the steps. But the entrance of the ram was blocked by e-scooters etc. We complaint to the front office staff and the problem was later rectified. We were handed tooth brush by the front office staff upon check-in. Only 1 key card was given. Most hotels give 2. There are storage compartments for luggage available. But you have to do it yourself via some apps. Guests should not have to do this themselves. Service ranges from average to poor. Universal socket is not provided in the room. Plastic bags are not provided with the rubbish bins. Unhygienic! Refrigerator is cold. There’s both air-conditioning and heating. Therefore, guests have a choice. Auto-door closer is not installed for the room door. So we had to make sure that our door is locked when we leave the room. Only a box of tissues was provided. Most hotels provide 2. Toothbrush, shower cap, comb, hand towel etc was not replenished in the following day. Consequently, we wrote a list of the items and things that we needed done and place it on the bed for the room attendant to carry out. We normally switch off all the lights in the room when we sleep. We only have the shower cubicle and toilet lights on. This can’t be done. We have to choose between all lights off or some lights on in the room as well. Consequently, we didn’t sleep well for five nights. Range and quality of food is poor. Quantity is small. Milk and yogurt are dispensed from machines. Restaurant is heated. Knife is not offered. I wanted one to spread the butter on the toast. However, forks are provided! I had to switch on the toaster myself. I didn’t know how and a staff showed me. Then the staff asked me to switch it off after use. This is my first encounter with such a ridiculous breakfast situation! It is not my responsibility to switch off the toaster after use! Service is poor. There are moments when the entire restaurant is void of service staff. They are either in the kitchen or dish-washing area. There’s only one coffee machine and when it runs out of milk etc, one has to wait for a few minutes. This is below our expectations. Brown sugar is not offered. Butter was placed, in the same basket, with the jam. There were so few that I missed it. It’s strange for breakfast table to have partitions especially after covid.

Der allgemeine Hotelservice ist sehr gut, der Aufenthalt ist sehr schnell und der Spezialzucker Yangzhou ist auch als ein willkommenes Geschenk gegeben worden. Sehr intim 🎉 Das Zimmer ist insgesamt nicht sauber, die Einrichtungen sind immer noch sehr gut, das Gesamtbild ist sehr neu, der Raum ist auch groß genug, Das Aufenthaltserlebnis ist sehr gut 👍 Es ist sehr bequem zu essen in der Nähe, es gibt einen Universitätsmarkt in der Nacht in etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß, es gibt auch eine gute lokale Speisen, es gibt viele Auswahl, es gibt kleine Schüssel und lokale Restaurants, es gibt alle Ebenen, vor allem ist es sehr bequem, Auto zu High-Bahn-Station zu fahren und einfach zu rufen. Wenn Sie nicht über die Position vertraut sind, können Sie die Rezeption helfen, den Wagen zu rufen, damit der Wagen schneller wird. Die Mitarbeiter der Rezeption sind sehr enthusiastisch und sehr bereit, zu helfen, sehr zu empfehlen, 👍 zu bleiben.

Erstaunliche Lage, in der Nähe der wichtigsten touristischen Attraktionen im Zentrum. Sauber und gemütlich. Der Front Desk sehr freundlich. Sicherlich ein Ort, um mehr als einmal zu bleiben.

Been there for business trip in Yangzhou. Very modern building, with all comforts and amenities. Comfortable room, and rich breakfast. 2nd lobby at the top floor was not super intuitive.

Ich habe dieses Hotel über eine Gruppenbuchung am Singles' Day gebucht und mir während der Neujahrsfeiertage zwei Tage frei genommen, um außerhalb der Hauptsaison zu verreisen. Das Hotel liegt direkt im malerischen Gebiet des Slender West Lake, nur wenige Gehminuten vom See entfernt. Auch das Hotel selbst ist sehr schön und nur durch einen Fluss vom See getrennt. Im Winter war es etwas kühl; im März ist Hochsaison. Wir bekamen ein Zimmer-Upgrade mit Thermalbad, was toll war. Das Frühstücksangebot war allerdings begrenzt und durchschnittlich.

The place is beautiful. The rooms/cottages of the hotel are spread around a nice area. There is a vegetable garden and kids could feed the goats and rabbit. My kids loved the hotel and the room. Front desk gave us kids slippers and toothbrushes and a bag full of treats and snacks for the kids. Beds were very comfortable and the family room was beautiful with a balcony looking to the canal. Black swans swimming in there. The private outside hot bathtub was cool. They gave us some activity tickets (kids cookies baking, two free coffee cups and free entrance to the park beside), sadly we couldn’t use them, because we came noon and went to visit a different area , then left the next day after breakfast. The outside hotel surroundings are nice and peaceful. The food was great! Breakfast buffet is delicious. I would recommend it. There was a staff speaking English, but was not necessary for us. The service is very good and friendly…I’ll return.

The location is good next to the Donghu Wetland Park (walking distance) although it's hard getting around if you don't have a car. The place is big, and you get a balcony with your room. It's also quiet. Unfortunately, the day I was leaving, my Didi/taxi driver I got ended up wasting my time for 30min (he kept driving further away from me--I don't know why) and then canceled on me and made me miss my train (I'm sure the hotel staff remember me exploding on the phone with him in the lobby). The hotel was good enough to arrange a ride for me (although I still didn't make the train on time). Luckily, I was able to get another train as I had to be at work at 7am the next morning. Anyway--it's a fine hotel for the money, but I wish transportation from there was a bit more reliable/frequent.
