Staying at this hotel in Zermatt was an unforgettable experience! The location is perfect—just 500 meters from the train station, making it incredibly convenient. The highlight of my stay was the warm hospitality from the owners, Thor and Michele. They personally served the buffet breakfast every morning, which was both delicious and thoughtfully prepared. On my first day, I unfortunately missed breakfast, but as I was heading out around 10:45 am, they surprised me by reserving some food for me to enjoy before leaving. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture that truly made me feel cared for. The room itself was immaculate and had everything I needed. The balcony offered a stunning mountain view, which was a perfect way to start and end each day. Thor and Michele went above and beyond to make me feel like a VIP throughout my stay. They remembered my name, attended to every need, and even took the time to explain the local attractions and recommend food options based on my preferences. I feel incredibly lucky to have secured two nights at this gem of a hotel, especially since it’s almost always fully booked. This was one of the most personal and heartwarming stays I’ve ever had. If you’re visiting Zermatt, staying here is an absolute must. Thank you, Thor and Michele, for making my trip so memorable!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The excellent service rendered by the staff made our honeymoon much sweeter. Everyone was friendly, kind and always willing to help. Room was really nice and the extra sauna and open concept bathtub was a nice surprise! Breakfast spread was super delicious as well. Facilities like the wellness area include foot bath, infrared chairs, jacuzzi etc.

Kein deutsch sprechendes Personal mehr - negativ. Man kommt sich vor wie irgendwo auf der Welt. Eine Mitarbeiterin hat sehr lange nur mit portugisischer oder spanischen Gästen sehr gesprochen wir wurden nicht beachtet, wahrscheinlich auch nicht geschätzt. Service im Restaurant sehr knapp gehalten sogar schon fast unfreundlich. Meine Pasta war leider auch sehr pampig. Wir hatten alle drei grosse Mühe ein- und durchzuschlafen nicht aufgrund der Bezten dondern wegen einem lästigen Geräusch dieses konnten wir aber alle nicht zuordnen. Der Receptionist sprach kein Deutsch deshalb haben wir es auch nicht erwähnt. Das Hotel ist sonst sehr schön und originell ausgestattet. Werde es leider kaum weiterempfehlen.

The stay would be ideal if the room included a fan, as it can feel a bit stuffy while sleeping during the summer. The location is convenient, and the kids' club, spa, and pool offer plenty of fun for the children.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The location is perfect, just a few steps from the train station. Our room was spotless and we love the partial Matterhorn view. The breakfast staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Everything is perfect. I’ll definitely stay here again for my next Zermatt trip.

Die Lage war gut. Sie können die Materialhorn klar sehen, aber leider gibt es eine große Baukrane block einige Ansicht. Auf dem Weg zum Hotel vom Zermatt Station, wenn Sie die Google-Karte folgen, wird es Sie zu einer harten, sehr hohen Aufstiegsberg führen. Es wird besser, wenn das Hotel Ihnen den einfachen Weg zum Hotel.

Location was right in the middle of the city, super convenient! Nearby the Zermatt main station, as well as Gornergrat station! Supermarkets were walking distance away, and even food options were many like macdonalds, western food, etc. the receptionist was warm and friendly and even extended us for an early check in when rooms are available. The hotel was overall very cozy and clean, suitable for a short stay. The necessities are provided like soap, towels, hair dryer, tissue! Just note that there is no fridge in the room if that was your concern. Other than that, perfect stay!

Ich habe in Zermatt im Hotel Parnass geblieben und es hat sich als sehr bequeme und komfortable Basis für die Erforschung der Stadt und der umliegenden Berge erwiesen. Die Lage ist einer der größten Stärken. Das Hotel befindet sich im Zentrum von Zermatt, was bedeutet, dass Sie in einer einfachen Spazierweiterung von Geschäften, Restaurants und Schlüsselattraktionen sind. Es ist auch nur etwa 5-minute Fuß vom Bahnhof, das ideal ist, wenn mit Gepäck ankommen oder früh für Bergausflüge ausgehen. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel, mit allem, was für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt erforderlich war. Es hatte ein gemütliches, alpines Gefühl, dass sich Zermatt perfekt anpasst, und es bot einen guten Ort, nach einem Tag in den Bergen zu entspannen. Das Frühstück wurde in meinen Aufenthalt aufgenommen, und es war eine gute Möglichkeit, den Tag zu beginnen. Mit dem Frühstück auf der Website macht die Morgenstunde viel einfacher, vor allem wenn Sie einen frühen Start für Skifahren, Wandern, oder die Einnahme eines der Bergbahnen planen. Aus praktischer Sicht bedeutet die zentrale Lage, dass Sie leicht zu den Aufzügen, Zugverbindungen und Wanderwege ohne zusätzliche Transport benötigen können. Alles fühlt sich nahe, was ein großer Vorteil in einem Ziel wie Zermatt ist. Ich empfehle Hotel Parnass für jeden, der ein gut gelegenes, komfortables Hotel in Zermatt sucht. Es ist eine tolle Option, wenn Sie im Herzen der Stadt mit einfachem Zugang zu allem sein wollen, während Sie immer noch eine entspannte Alpenatmosphäre genießen.

We love the hotel and wished we could have stayed longer. The view from the balcony of our room gave us a clear view of the Matterhorn. The hotel is easily accessible from the Zermatt train station and the Town centre . We loved the room allocated and found it extremely comfortable. We also enjoyed the sumptuous breakfast buffet which was pretty extensive. Staff was really pleasant and helpful at all time. Our receptionist even escorted us to the room by stairs because their lift was not functional when we checked in. The only regret was that we were unable to utilise the sauna and swimming pool facilities due to time constraints. Will highly recommend the hotel to those who are looking for value for money stays whilst in Zermatt.
