Ich bin ein Mädchen und bin alleine nach Athen gekommen. Nachdem ich dieses Hotel gebucht hatte, las ich die in den Bewertungen erwähnten Probleme, was mich jedoch sehr beunruhigte, als ich tatsächlich eincheckte, dass es überhaupt kein Problem gab. Die Hygiene im Hotel ist sehr gut, das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und die Klimaanlage im Zimmer ist sehr ausreichend, so dass ich mich nach der Rückkehr vom 40-Grad-Außenwetter gut erholen kann. Ich habe am ersten Abend erst um ein Uhr morgens eingecheckt, aber solange ich Abstand zu ihnen hielt und keinen Blickkontakt herstellte, traf ich sie Es war immer noch sehr sicher, dass sie die vorbeikommenden Fußgänger nicht bemerkten. Ich werde das nächste Mal, wenn ich nach Athen komme, wieder hier übernachten!

5 Tage in Athen. Zunächst das Positive. Das Hotel ist nahe einer Metro-Station, vieles lässt sich zu Fuß erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, Frühstücksbüfett gut und vielfältig. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. (Gilt nicht für das Bad - das ist top.) Da wäre eine Erneuerung zu wünschen. Der Kleiderschrank im Zimmer hatte keine Fächer oder Bretter, eine Ablage der Wäsche war nicht möglich. Wenn man sich auf das Bett setzte - am Fußende - rutschte die Matratze durch das Gestell. Schade. Nun das nicht so Gute: Das Hotel liegt an einer sehr verkehrsreichen Straße, der Straßenlärm ist unangenehm. Ruhiger Schlaf ist nicht möglich. Ebenso für uns nicht zu begreifen (da es einen Fernseher gibt), dass es nicht einen einzigen Fernsehsender gibt, der in einer anderen Sprache als griechisch ist. Es waren mehrere Nationalitäten zu Gast und nicht einmal ein Sender wenigstens in Englisch. Sehr schade! Lässt sich aber vielleicht ändern.

Ich war mit meinen Kinder (Teenager) 5 Tage im Ciel Living. Die Zimmer sind wie auf den Bildern sehr modern und schön. Die Betten sehr bequem. Die Lage ist top. Auf der einen Seite direkt in der Plaka. Auf der anderen Seite eine geschäftige Strasse mit Super-Market, Post, Coffe-Shops und Backwaren. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten, Bus- und Metrostationen sind alle gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Alle Mitarbeiter vom Empfang bis zu den Raumpflegerinnen sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren jederzeit sehr sauber und fast täglich frische Frottierwäsche. Die Bar und das Restaurant sind ebenfalls sehr chic und die Mitarbeiter sehr aufmerksam. Die Bar und Restaurant sind sehr beliebt. Der Lift ist gegen Abend meist gut besetzt. Die Gänge zu den Zimmern und Suiten sind jedoch mit einer Tür verschlossen, so dass nur Gäste des Ciel Living zutritt haben. Fazit: Tolle Zimmer und Suiten mit kleinerLobby. Dafür steht's sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal und eine tolle Bar. Ich würde sofort wieder im Ciel Living buchen oder auch weiter empfehlen.

Das Hotel ist außergewöhnlich. Sauberkeit, 10 Mitarbeiter, gutes Frühstück, perfekte Ausstattung. Aber es liegt in einem Bereich, der ein wenig Unsicherheit erzeugt. Es ist voller Obdachloser und wird mit Spritzen vollgestopft, daher ist es ein wenig heikel.
Ich denke, die Situation wird behoben, denn das Hotel ist eine 10.

Excellent value for money hotel in a fantastic location just a few minutes walk from Athens’ most visited spots. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. No tea/coffee making facilities but I don’t know if that’s normal in Athens, but there is a fridge and great air conditioning. Then roof top bar in their sister hotel Plaka is well worth a visit. Highly recommend.

Mein zweiter Besuch in Athen war dieses Hotel in einer perfekten Lage in der Nähe von allem, was wir besuchen wollten. Das Frühstück war gut, das Personal war erstaunlich und das Hotel war sehr sicher nach einer bestimmten Zeit die automatischen Türen geschlossen und Sie konnten nur mit Ihrer Schlüsselkarte eingehen. Wir reservierten die Junior Suite mit der Akropolis-Ansicht, die es nicht enttäuscht. Sie hatten Schlepper an den Türen und Fenstern, so dass die Sonne nicht das erste tötete Sie am Morgen. Die Reinigungspersonal waren erstaunlich, dass sie unser Zimmer zweimal am Tag reinigen, so dass wir sie am Ende unseres Besuchs am Spitzen hinterließen. Dieses Hotel empfiehlt sehr jedem, der diese schöne Stadt besucht.

Absolut zentral gelegen, um auf die Akropolis zu gelangen oder die Altstadt zu besuchen. Äußerst entgegenkommende Geschäftsführung (wir konnten ohne Aufpreis verschieben, obwohl die Stornofrist abgelaufen war), freundlicher und auskunftsfreudiger Empfang. Der Wunsch nach einem ruhigen Zimmer wurde uns gerne erfüllt. Kleines, aber feines Zimmer, komfortables Bett, Klimaanlage, sauber und gemütlich. Völlig ausreichendes und ”südlich übliches” Frühstück incl. frisch ausgepresstem O-Saft. Tolles Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut für Ausflüge in die Altstadt gelegen (2km enfernt). Mein Zimmer war sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Ich hatte ein Zimmer zum Innenhof und etwas entfernt vom Aufzug. Das war sehr ruhig zum Schlafen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und umfangreich. Der Pool auf der Dachterasse war erfrischend und der Ausblick grandios.

Wir haben 2 Zimmer für einen 3-Nacht-Unterhalt vor unserer Kreuzfahrt reserviert. Wir waren sehr beeindruckt mit den modernen sauberen Zimmern - sowohl mit Balkonen als auch Sitzbereichen, großen Badezimmern mit starken Duschen und Netflix im Fernsehen. Die Küche war nützlich für die Herstellung von heißen Getränken und die Verwendung des Kühlschranks. Wir bestellten die Abgabe nach einem Sehenswürdigkeitsbereich, das kein Problem mit der Rezeption war. Der Hafen war sehr leicht vom Hotel zugänglich, wie die Metro-Blue-Line für den direkten Zugang zum Zentrum von Athen für weniger als 2 Euro. Insgesamt, ein solides 3-Sterne-Hotel mit wirklich guten Preisen für Geld. Würde nicht zögern, wieder zu bleiben.

I stayed here for one night on 3rd September. The location is very convenient. The port of Piraeus is safe and ”rising” a lot in recent years. If you feel like going on prettier areas, it's only a 15-minute walk or 5 minutes taxi. (Town Hall, Pasalimani/Zea, even Mikrolimano or Piraiki and so on... Metro is 3 minutes walk away too. I liked the facilities in the room (coffee maker, toiletries, ”smart” technology.) Decoration-wise, I liked the hotel. I personally like the blue color in the room, however dark shades make the room seem even smaller.The double bed was comfortable for me traveling alone for one night. It's a city hotel and I knew beforehand that the room would be small, so for me it wasn't a problem. But the classic I stayed in I don't think would be suitable for 2 people and/or a long stay. Some small complains are that there were some tiny stains on the pillows. Cleanliness was good overall, but in 4+ star hotels you expect attention to detail. The staff were polite but the inexperience of some of them shows, they seem kind of anxious and they don't talk comfortably or naturally, tt's like they're parroting a text. I didn't like the breakfast system and something urgent happened, so I left too early and didn't get one. All in all, despite any objections, it will be among my choices for the future.

GGuest UserWir verbrachten insgesamt fünf Tage hier. Unsere Wohnung war am 4. (oder 5., wenn Sie das US-System verwenden) des Gebäudes, mit einer weiten, aber distanzierten Aussicht auf die Acropolis. Es gab einen Balkon, der schön war, aber fast keine Straße Lärm in der Nacht. Die Wohnung war geräumig, komfortabel, unstumpflich sauber und sehr modern. Wir waren dort sehr komfortabel! Das Personal war sehr hilfreich, sie gab uns ihre WhatsApp-Nummern und waren immer verfügbar, wenn wir sie benötigten. Wir liebten die Nachbarschaft: nur einen fünfminütigen Spaziergang zum Acropolis Museum, aber es fühlte sich ganz wie eine normale griechische Nachbarschaft statt in der ”touristischen Zone” von Plake. Viele Kaffeegeschäfte, Restaurants usw. in der Nähe. Es gab die Fähigkeit, im Apartment zu kochen, obwohl wir das nicht getan haben; aber es war schön, die Kaffeemaschine und Kettle, und der gelieferte Kaffee. Wir würden sicherlich noch einmal dort bleiben.

GGastnutzerMiraMe has the BEST shower we have ever experienced. THE BEST SHOWER! It comes with four different ' heads ' and the water pressure is extremely powerful so taking a shower after a hot day in Athens was an absolute joy. Usually the rainshower found in most hotels is weak, but MiraMe's jets are very forceful and steady water temperature. The other three ' heads ' are one for the chest, one for the butt and one for the legs. Then there is also one separate hand held shower head on the side. The shower room is spacious and drainage is smooth, and the door seals perfect so there is no worry of a leak. We cannot claim to be hotel experts but for the 30+ odd years of travelling and having stayed in over 60 hotels in many cities, we can vow loud and clear that MiraMe has really sourced the BEST shower model, and other hotels, even other leading hotels in the world should dump theirs and change them into MiraMe's.
Locationwise, MiraMe also is very good. The main shopping districts are just 10 mins walk away where you can find famous brands as well as plenty of shoe shops. In the area are major bus stops , great variety of restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours, pharmacies and other nice hotels.
The room we had booked is ' deluxe family room with balcony ' that has a short flight of stairs leading to an attic for the 3rd person. It is a nice nook up there for some privacy with a bed and a sofa and an individual air con that provides a comfy temp. The balcony is small and not much view so we hardly used it. Breakfast is provided up on the rooftop bar cum lounge, where a young staff manned the place and served freshly made breakfast cooked to each guest's order every morning. The rooftop has a nice open view of the Acropolis and has very nice updated music that is cool but not too loud and wild.
They also have a bar on the G/F serving drinks. The staff are all young and pleasant, polite and helpful and they try their best to help with restaurant bookings and recommendations etc.
MiraMe is a clean and modern boutique hotel that provides sufficient toiletries to make the stay comfy and carefree. Housekeeping is discreet and the bedding is all clean and white, bath and hand towels and floors and things we touch are basically clean. Again, we cannot praise enough their wonderful shower that has to be the BEST in the whole world.
The hotel is in a quiet street but in a very safe neighbourhood, so even if you return late everyone feels very secure and safe.

GGuest UserThis is an extremely nice hotel situated in a perfect location. Our stay and review are based on a Superior room You would be hard pressed to find an Athens hotel in a better location. You are right in the middle of all the action with shops and restaurants nearby. You are spoilt for choice. Although in a busy area we found the excellent double- glazed doors/windows kept any noises out and it was not an issue at all. Our Superior room came with a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities although that is not listed on their website. It may be worth e-mailing them if this is important to you. There was air-con but in March there was no need to make use of it so we cannot comment on its efficiency. The toilet/bathroom came with those tiny bottles of shampoo and body wash which we refuse to use on environmental grounds so we brought our own and used that. There was a sign saying that if the used towels were hung up then it was assumed that we were happy to reuse them. The cleaners replaced them daily regardless. The rooms were kept very clean. This hotel has much going for it. We grabbed a deal here at a very attractive price which included breakfast. The breakfast arrangements were in a fairly small area but we felt that a good selection was provided considering the space limitations. Plenty of fresh vegetable choices and delicious too. The Tomatoes and Cucumber just tasted so much better than we are used to. Cereals, bread, cakes, fruit and coffee from a machine. We looked forward to our breakfast every morning and didn’t grow tired of it. Minor gripes (being very picky). The over the bath shower was a mini battle in so much that it was prone to shoot water out onto the floor if you weren’t being careful. It could have been better but all we had to do was to adjust our showering habits and all was ok in the end. Our room had a balcony facing out to the street below. It would have been nice for a couple of chairs out there rather than just a large pot plant and the air-con unit for company. I did notice that no other balconies on other building had chairs out so perhaps that is just the Athens way. We had a Fridge in our room. Very welcome. A very close mini supermarket was the cheapest place we could find to buy water. E0.39 for 1.5 litres as I recall. We loved this hotel. All the staff were so nice and so helpful. I can’t remember all of their names but Irena and Eva come to mind. They helped make our stay wonderful. It had a curiously homely feel about the place. March time was a great time of the year as it was a pleasant day time temperature with it getting a bit chilly in the evenings. You could still dine outdoors but with a patio heater nearby. We loved Athens and have decided to return next March with the flights already booked. We will stay at the Plaka Hotel again. 5 stars from us

GGuest UserDas Hotel hat definitiv positive Eigenschaften. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Empfang, Zimmermädchen, Barkeeper, Kellner. Im Frühstücksbereich auf der 9 Etage besonders der Herr mit Zopf der das Team leitet. Es gibt wohl auch einen Frühstücksbereich auf der 2. Etage. Es lohnt sich aber den Aufpreis für die 9. Etage. Die Aussicht ist noch besser als auf den Fotos, was oft nicht der Fall ist. Schöne, ausreichend große Pool Fläche. Auch zum Abend/ Mittag Essen ein toller Platz. Außerhalb 3 tolle Restaurants nebeneinander direkt hinter dem Kreisverkehr. Zweimal rechts um die Ecke ist ein Super Bäcker, auch warme Gerichte im Angebot. Links runter eine tolle Eck Kneipe/ Bistro. Taxis direkt vor der Tür. U Bahn auch. Wir empfehlen ein Zimmer zu nehmen was nicht in der Nähe der Housekeeping Räume ist. Das war sehr laut. Generell sehr hellhörige Gänge. Auch vom Straßenlärm bekommt man einiges mit. Das Viertel ist nicht sehr schön. Ist aber generell so. Vom Hotel zum Airport kostet ein Taxi 50€ mit Trinkgeld.

GGuest UserDieses Hotel ist perfekt! Die Lage kann nicht übertroffen werden, jede Sehenswürdigkeit ist zu Fuss in kurzer Distanz zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind wunderbar, jene Zimmer mit Sicht auf die Akropolis sind super! Auf dem kleinen Balkon sieht man direkt auf die Akropolis und auf den belebten Platz davor. Die Fenster sind super isoliert, kein Lärm gelangt ins Zimmer, die Klima Anlage funktioniert sehr leise und zuverlässig. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und wird auf der Rooftop Terrasse eingenommen, ein Traum. Nachmittags und Abends ist der Frühstücksort eine Bar. Die Angestellten sind ausserordentlich nett und sehr hilfsbereit! In Athen nur dieses Hotel, unbedingt!

GGastnutzerTolle Lage, da alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten (einschließlich Kerameikos und Filopappou-Hügel) zu Fuß erreichbar sind – auch außerhalb des Haupttouristengebiets, was ein Pluspunkt war. Dachterrasse auch zum Ausklingen des Tages angenehm.
Die Hotelausstattung ist begrenzt: WLAN, nur Internet-TV (bei mir musste man sich mit eigenen Daten anmelden), Klimaanlage, Tee/Kaffee, kostenloses Mineralwasser. Option zum kalten Frühstück (Festpreis 10 € – nicht 8 €, wie auf der Website angegeben). Die Abholung vom Flughafen kostet jetzt ebenfalls 50 € (mehr als derzeit auf der Website angezeigt).
Die Zimmer sind modern, aber meines sah langsam etwas abgenutzt aus. Theoretisch handelte es sich um eine „Suite“, die für vier Personen geeignet war (zwei kleine Zimmer), aber diese wäre extrem eng geworden, insbesondere da jedes Zimmer nur über einen „platzsparenden“ Kleiderschrank verfügte. Aus der Wand ragende Garderobenstange mit einem Spiegel davor und ohne weiteren Stauraum sowie einem Schlafsofa im „Wohnzimmer“.
Trotz der Beschreibung auf der Website, dass jedes Zimmer (nur) über eine Massagedusche verfügt, hatte meins eine Dusche über der Badewanne.
Der Service war durchschnittlich: Die Rezeption war bemüht hilfsbereit zu sein, aber es mangelte an Ortskenntnissen. Das Bett wurde jeden Tag gemacht, aber Tee/Kaffee/Wasser wurden nicht aufgefüllt und gebrauchte Gläser und Tassen wurden nicht gereinigt. Trotzdem WURDEN die Handtücher täglich erneuert und es gab keine Möglichkeit (Karte oder anderer Mechanismus), dies zu verhindern. Ich war überrascht: Anscheinend ist das Sparen von Wasser und Energie dem Hotel völlig entgangen.
Fazit: Im Vergleich zu anderen Preisen und in anderen Gegenden Athens habe ich einen angemessenen Betrag bezahlt, aber angesichts der Bewertungen hatte ich mehr vom Hotel erwartet, obwohl ich ehrlich gesagt nicht sagen konnte, dass es schlecht war, sondern nur „durchschnittlich“.

GGuest UserWe took a cruise from Athens and had a one night stay at the start of our trip (we had 2 nights at a different hotel upon our return to Athens). This hotel is well situated for visiting the major tourist attractions. The employees make the difference in this hotel. They are very accommodating, our room was ready at noon, when we slept in the next day they still let us enjoy breakfast (after they were supposed to close the restaurant) and we checked out past the check out time. No raised eyebrows or hesitancy at all. We felt welcomed! Our standard room was quite small but it was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was generous in size and had a good shower. Our room was quiet.

GGuest UserWir blieben für 2 Nächte Mitte August in einem Landschaftsblickzimmer mit Balkon. Das Schlafzimmer war ohne Stichprobe mit einem wirklich komfortablen Bett sauber. Balkon war riesig mit Blick auf die Akropolis. Personal wirklich freundlich und nichts zu viel Problem. Die Lage ist erstaunlich - auf einer wirklich lebendigen, sicheren Straße in Athen mit einem kurzen Spaziergang zum Platz und zum Markt. Wir haben es absolut geliebt. Die Dachbar ist Fab für Cocktails/Sonnenunternehmer und um die Atmosphäre dieser lebendigen Stadt zu ertrinken. Das Frühstück war Top-Notch - so viel Auswahl und reichhaltig. Sehr guter Preis für Geld. Wir haben bereits für nächstes Jahr wieder reserviert!

Brilliant location, we were able to walk to all the sights and restaurants etc. A very nice hotel with very friendly staff :) The rooms were large, individual, quirky and clean so we were happy :) True that it doesn't have the hotel name on the door only number 27. One of the rooms had the bed up on a mezzanine level which was low in the ceiling but a fun unusual solution. Pity that room didn't have a light in the bathroom though. Overall we were very happy and would recommend staying at the Emporikon hotel :)
