🚗 Verkehr: In Bezug auf den Verkehr, da Assuan nicht sehr groß ist, ist es sehr bequem, überall hinzufahren.Der Nil ist besonders schön, wenn das Wetter schön ist. 🧹Hygiene: Das Hotel wird hygienisch sehr aktiv gereinigt, es fühlt sich überall sehr hochwertig an und es gibt keinen Müll. Nirgendwo ist es schmutzig. 🍃Umgebung: Unnötig zu erwähnen, dass die Umgebung sehr angenehm ist. Die Kellner sind sehr engagiert. Sie tragen Smoking, wenn das Wetter sehr heiß ist. Die Serviceeinstellung ist sehr gut. Grundsätzlich kommen sie oft, um Sie zu begrüßen. Was brauchen Sie? 🔔 Service: alles einfach perfekt super

Pros The hotel facilities were absolutely beautiful with an amazing view. Traditional Nubian style house. Every corner makes you want to capture the space. We had a rocky start but the hotel staff tried to redeem themselves. We lost an apple watch which the hotel helped us get back ASAP before we reached Luxor. We are grateful for this. Cons Awful communication and hospitality. We were the only guests in the entire resort because of low season but still received shitty service. The hotel is in a secluded place making it difficult to reach.It’s on top of a mountain on a dusty rocky road. The hotel offers a tuktuk. We did our research prior and contacted the hotel to arrange getting to the hotel from the village and check in since we knew we’d land in the AMs. We were ignored. We arrived at the village meeting point at 1:45 but only ended up getting to our rooms around 3:50am because reaching the hotel via call and WhatsApp was so difficult. The staff had no sense of urgency. We were frustrated and anxious in this wellness resort. Our taxi driver refused to take us up the mountain and the tuktuk refused to take us because of our many bags (which is understandable). I’m very disappointed in the service and I know the staff has lots of potential to improve on their service delivery. The hotel needs to be more cognisant of their customer service and guests hospitality. Staying here was stressful. Recommended if you want aesthetic vibes,a beautiful picturesque hotel with good breakfast. Don’t recommend if you prioritise great guest services, comfortability and peace.

I absolutely loved this place. It is a little bit away from the city (about 3 miles/5 km) but that means you get a little private, quiet piece of the Nile from the room balcony. The staff were just excellent and took care of us so well. The front desk was always helpful and helped arrange our tours and taxis. The rooms were charming, clean, and orderly. The rest of the hotel is similarly clean and charming. When we arrived we had an issue with our room’s AC not working well, and the staff responded immediately and helped us move rooms when it was clear it wouldn’t be fixed quickly. They were similarly very responsive to our needs during the entirety of the trip. The security at the hotel is also great.

Wir hatten direkt im Nubian Palace zu viert für 3 Nächte 2 große Doppelzimmer gebucht. Bei unserer Ankunft gab es Probleme mit der Zimmerzuweisung, die wir aber mit dem Manager später lösen konnten. Es gibt sehr schöne große Zimmer, aber auch recht kleine Zimmer, in denen man Schwierigkeiten hat, das Gepäck abzustellen. Ein viel größeres tägliches Problem war die Wasserversorgung. Es gab während unseres Aufenthaltes selten Wasser im Bad dh Duschen oder Waschen war praktisch nicht möglich oder nur sehr eingeschränkt mit wenig kaltem Wasser oder Wasser aus der PET Flasche. Täglich gab es neue Erklärungen dafür und Versprechungen ...in 1h, am nächsten Morgen, Abend... etc so wurden wir jeden Tag vertröstet, aber auch nach 4 Tagen war keine Lösung in Sicht. Und morgens vor 12 Uhr war kein Verantwortlicher zu erreichen. Das hat uns ziemlich geärgert. Wlan gab es nur eingeschränkt auf der Terrasse. Das Personal war sehr freundlich vor allem Mohammed hat uns jeden Tag zuvorkommend bedient.

What sets the Kato Waidi Nubian house apart from its wonderful location inside the Nubian village and by the Nile riverside is the owner/manager Mahmud and his wonderful staff. Mahmud was super helpful when it came to guiding us about the things to do in and around Aswan and he also helped organize our trip to Abu Simbel and our drop to Luxor, at a very reasonable price. He gave us valuable tips on what to buy and where as well. Coming back to the resort, it is pretty big and very nicely done up. There are two sections - the main one is adjacent to the river and the second part is just behind it with at least one corner room with a full view of the river. The main section has a large open air dining area with many tables right next to the river. All the staff are extremely helpful and cooperative and the food is delicious as well. We tried the local dishes and really enjoyed them. The resort has a number of friendly cats and a couple of friendly dogs (which get bullied by the cats) and it was good fun to interact with them. We love animals and enjoyed the cats rubbing themselves against us below the table while we were eating but if someone is afraid of animals then this may be something to think about. Although we stayed in the annexe and not the main part of the resort, we also found it nice. All the buildings are built in the Nubian style of architecture with brickwork arches with no keystones. The rooms were functional and although a bit small, were ok. They gave a sense of what living in the village would be like. Our bathroom was large and nice too with a bathtub, although having a shower curtain would have helped. Anyway, I am nitpicking here. We loved our stay at the Kato Waidi and would love to stay there again.

Ich habe 20 Schläge gespielt, der Duft der Servicepersonals ist nicht brauchbar, ganz kurz, Wenn Sie kurze Aufenthalte vom Flughafen hierher machen, wäre es besser, wenn Sie von der Stadt hierher wohnen, es ist keine gute Wahl, die Mitarbeiter des Ladens sind enthusiastisch und freundlich, der Chef hat eine kleine Abweichung von dem Verkehrsangebot zum Abu Siber und ich weiß, dass ich es wirklich weiß.

Wir reservierten Villa Misk wegen der schönen Aussicht über die Boote und Philae Tempel in der Entfernung. Die Villa ist leicht aus der Stadt, was es sehr ruhig und Tee auf der Terrasse über das Wasser ist nur wunderbar. Die Gastfreundschaft hier ist zweit bis niemand. Ahmed und seine Familie gingen oben und darüber hinaus, um unseren Aufenthalt in Aswan so gut wie möglich zu machen. Sie waren sehr auf unsere frühe Ein- und Auscheck sehr zugegen. Ahmed organisierte nicht nur einen Besuch in Abu Simbel für uns aus Aswan, er organisierte auch einen Fahrer für uns in Luxor sehr nett. Unsere besten Erinnerungen in Ägypten sind dank Ahmeds Freundlichkeit und Fachwissen. Sicherlich buchen Sie diesen Ort - es ist ein Geschirr.

Mehr als eine Woche in Ägypten, die geduldigste Tageserfahrung ist hier, wählen Sie sich, empfehlen Sie nicht, zu weit entfernt, der südägyptische Fahrer ist auch ein großer Preis, sehr unrentabel. Das Hotel hat einen eigenen Transporter organisiert, sagen Sie 50, gehen Sie aus dem Auto oder nehmen Sie 75 Dollar, 30 Minuten Fahrt, kosten Sie Ihre Bewertung. Das Hotel ist sehr groß, sehr schön, aber wie die unvollständigen Sehenswürdigkeiten von Aspergillus, ist es ein unvollständiges Hotel, der Fernseher ist sehr ohne Signale und das Zimmer ist sehr gut ohne Verspätung. Der Fahrer, der mich zum Hotel lieferte, hat auch einen vorläufigen Preis von 1000 Ägyptens gezahlt. Die Schlampe ist sehr unbehaglich, und dann hat sie immer gedrängt, die persönliche Sicherheit gefährdet, frühzeitig abgezogen, das Hotel hat keine Rückzahlung. Die Unterschiede zwischen Süd und Nord Ägypten sind zu groß, wenn es nicht besonders tief ist, wird empfohlen, nach Kairo nach Lukassus zurückzukehren. Sonst beabsichtigen fast alle, sich zu betrügen, und der Preis wird sich ändern.

This hotel is a destination on itself for several reasons. 1- It has the best ”accessible” view of the Isis temple. Warning: the very best view is just a quick hike to the top of the boulder pile on the east flank of the hotel; but don't do it- I got in trouble with 2 soldiers for trying to take pics from there- in Egypt the temples are protected by soldiers that don't want people taking pics from high angles. 2- You are spending the night in an authentic Nubian village. We loved our rooms! 3- The food is authentic, and in our opinion, the best Egyptian food that we had in our trip. 4- You get there in a boat! Add to that the top customer service and the friendliness of the hosts. Among the things they did for us: 1- The manager organized our trip to Abu Simbel with a funny and empathetic driver that never ever asked us for a tip (he got one of course but the point is that he wasn't pushy, which adds to the experience). The price for transportation was fair. 2- The manager let us watch the World Cup games in the TV that they have for the staff room- no TV in our rooms. Interacting with the staff adds to the trip experience. 3- We got our breakfast packed so we could take it during our drive to Abu Simbel. We didn't ask for it. We were a group of 5. All of us loved this place and if we ever go back to Aswan, we know where to stay. We would have loved to make more use of other facilities, or at least spend some significant time by the bonfire.
