We were very pleased with the overall stay.
Had a comfort chair that had broken legs the chair was against the wall it was ok there but as soon as we moved it it couldn't be sat on.

Rooms were clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and professional. The room was just a bit noisy between the traffic and the guys in the room next to me

Everything I needed, clean and tidy, hot shower and comfortable bed. Also included kitchenette with, fridge, cutlery, crockery, microwave etc.a good old fashioned motor lodge. Booking in and out was a simple process and staff were friendly and helpful. Able to leave luggage whilst I attended appointments and collect later in the day. Great service and close to shopping, buses and train station.

Great location, just very loud due to being right on Canning HWY (not the property’s fault people like to hoon). My only feedback is getting a phone call at 0915 to say checkout time is 1000 (first time I’ve stayed anywhere and had this happen).

The outside of this building is so dirty I felt I needed a shower and a hair wash by the time I reached my room on the third floor.lots of ingrained dirt in passage ways and on walls. Cigarette butts and rubbish to be navigated. Am thinking the owners must be waiting for a developer to buy and knock down building and hence stopped cleaning ages ago. Reminded me of a 1970s government housing block. The unit was clean and neat inside. New towels daily. Had to pay $200 bond. Am thinking that is to keep out people who cannot afford that. Staff friendly. I would never recommend this place. Very disappointed. 3 night stay. Caravan park cabins on Nullabor better

Booked into hotel having paid for room in Advance. They then asked for a §200 deposit on the room either cash or credit card. I paid the deposit by credit card which they said they would refund writhing 5 working days. Three weeks latter I am still chasing them for refund and now having to try to get my credit card company to cancel the transaction as Canning Lodge have done nothing to cancel the transaction. Be warned don’t expect your deposit to be refunded
