This is a return visit from a a number of years ago to a wonderful hotel, last time as couple this time as a group. We stayed as part of a motorbike tour of France and had parking in the small courtyard infront of the building. The architecture of the building itself is beautiful and sensitively combined with the modern. All staff were so warm, friendly and professional, rooms were spacious for a french hotel and tastefully decorated,well stocked downstairs bar and cool terrace to the rear was delightful on a very hot day after many hours riding through the French countryside. Breakfast, with lovely staff members, was in the impressive abbey remains an was plentiful. A pleasant 10 min walk took you to the start of the old town with many sights and restaurants. It was a real delight to stay here again and hopefully will do so in the future.

Very good place to stay. I arrived outside reception times and they had send codes to enter the flat. It was easy to use this and find the key for the studio. The studio was spacious and clean. I met staff at the check out. They were polite and friendly. The vheck out quick.

Un établissement parfait pour une étape de voyage vers le sud ouest. Belle chambre avec salle de bain rénovée et vue sur la ville. L’hôtel est idéalement situé dans la vielle ville et nous a proposé une place de garage. Petit déjeuner de qualité dans une petite salle avec table nappée. Sa situation près des restaurant est appréciable pour un dîner au choix des envies. Nous avons prolongé ce court séjour le lendemain matin ce qui nous a permis de découvrir le centre ancien, les ruelles et la cathédrale d’ Angoulême en trois heures. Un bon plan à retenir

Très bon accueil. Notre chambre était agréable et spacieuse avec une salle d'eau attenante, très propre et moderne (rénovation de l'hôtel faite en 2020 après échanges avec les propriétaires). La literie est très confortable (lit de 160), c'est un vrai bon point. La chambre est climatisée et bien équipée en rangements. Enfin, le petit déjeuner est vraiment très copieux et bon (vous trouverez du pain nature - aux céréales, beurres doux et demi sel, plusieurs variétés de confitures, de céréales, de fromage, de yaourts et compotes, de la charcuterie etc.). Excellent rapport qualité prix !!
