Beautiful island and lovely hotel along with it! We decided to book this trip from a Monday to Wednesday, and booked the entire trip (travel to Bimini and accommodations) through the Hilton Resort website. We flew in on Silver Air from FLL on Monday afternoon. The flight was smooth and easy, we had maybe 20 minutes of total air time. Upon landing, a taxi van was waiting for the plane and took everyone to the ferry dock for $5 per person (cash- USD is accepted). We got to the ferry and took one directly to the Hilton. It was beautiful and a smooth, short ride. The ferry was $10/person (you can pay on board with card, or pay ahead of time through the website). The Hilton was modern and sleek. It was clean and gleaming, and the pools and amenities were beautiful. The first room key we were given didn’t work but the man at the front desk was very friendly and got it fixed right away. We had a “lagoon view with balcony” and it was stunning. Everything in the resort was walking distance- but it is hot and humid (so be prepared!) We did take the “free shuttle” back from the hotel beach club, and decided to rent a golf cart the next day. The front desk pointed us to do so. As said in other reviews, the food and drinks at the resort were a bit pricey, but we were expecting it and not thrown off by it! The ****** is small but neat- it was never too busy when we were there, which was perfect for us. I’m assuming that weekends and big cruise ship visits likely change that, but for a quiet couples trip it was perfect the way it was! We rented a golf cart with cash (USD) in the fisherman’s village area, and explored the island with it! Radio beach is a neat spot, and there are some local restaurants that are more easily reached with a golf cart. There is also a small local beach directly North of the Resorts World Beach club, which was so cool to see. We loved the rooftop Infiniti pool, and the pool that borders the “lagoon” side of the hotel. Both were the perfect temp for the weather, clean, and the perfect blue. Overall, this was a perfect place for a couples trip!
