Very good location, needs a little refresh but very good you can eat and use partner hotels

This hotel is maximum 2.5 star. We stayed here for 4nights, our room was never cleaned, towels never replaced and beds never made. The dispensers in the bathroom remained empty? Why have them? The rooms are very aged and need updating as does most of the hotel. We were only B&B, and glad we didn’t have to eat more than Breakfast, which was poor. The bacon, sausage were over cooked and all fat, the fresh fruit was ok, but pastries small and crusty. The best bit of the hotel is the reception and the staff who were friendly and always willing to help.

Woken by the sound of moving furniture in the early hours, i found myself in a room in total darkness. The noise was not coming from my room, but all around. Who else would have such a need to move furniture at this time, other than a resident poltergiest? A door slammed! Again i was woken, this poltergiest had some serious unfinished business, for no human would surely shut a door so hard? I fumbled for the light switch, and a blinding light burnt my eyes, enough to banish a vampire from my chamber! I moved some furniture, it was possible to move this quietly. I made my way to the door, afraid of waking my neighbours, and alas, it was possible to close it quietly! The long nights continued, and i asked my spirit guide if he could go about his business quietly, but his need to move furniture and slam doors could not be satisfied! I craved a sign that there was human life in the hotel, and was greeted with the sound of the neighbours engaging in the sweet sound of producing a new member into the human race. Ah yes the true hotel experience we all know! In another room, a boy cried and told his friend how he didn't understand. Maybe it was their first time? Fortunatly, the beds were very comfortable and you could sink into them. In the morning light, the hotel had a nice pool and there were some nice bars & restaurants just outside. Within a 5 min walk, you could visit the infamous ***** for all the young cool kids. Or you could jump in a short taxi ride to the old town for something a little less tequila slammers and vomit. Would i stay again? Most likely. The most annoying part was the door slamming, but the moving furniture was just amusing.

I have been in the hotel for 8 days and I liked it, but I would rather the food was better. I liked the surroundings and its location. Grateful for the attention and I would like to thank the animation guys like Lauro Leyanna and Yadiel. The food was quite clean, what I would like to remember about the food is that on one occasion it was cold but for the rest it was very good.

Yoandry,Cinder,Leyanna and Nirma were very good and welcoming ,they made the night very good and entertaining by teaching me to dance 👏🏾!! Very good dancing of salsa enjoyed every bit of it !!! Will be coming back for some more lessons ! Kind and welcoming group

The reception area in this hotel is absolutely fabulous done to the highest class beautiful gardens and walk ways the views of the beach is absolutely stunning the gardens have a big hot tub a shauna also the swimming pools are fabulous .There are alot of different seating area's in the hotel grounds . There is also a beautiful area to sit with a bird aviary lots of beautiful scenery from the hotel and gardens definitely worth a visit

Very nice staff. Room cleaning done every day cleaners do a great job nice pool and facilties a little outdated accommodations and the hassle of booking food for the restaurants in the hotels from MGM the open buffet is grate tho decent selection of food items the reason it not 5 star is that the booking for restaurants and not knowing the menu items that are limited and having to do it days in advance not a fan of this system.other than that the 12 days spent there were very present.

The reasons behind my low scoring review... no where near a five star. I wouldn't even give it 3 stars. Food is the worst I have experienced in the algarve. You should be ashamed of yourselves. We have just had our last meal. Photos to follow. I am not a picky eater at all. I will eat anything. An hour before lunch finished most dishes were empty and only replenished with chips and pizza. Basically what I've eaten all week. Rooms extremely basic nothing like the pictures on the website. It states the hotel has 27 different bars and restaurants. No only one bar and one buffet restaurant on site. If you want to walk a trek for your evening dinner then that's what you need to do. My partner has mobility issues so no good for us. After going away the last two holidays with muthu hotels I will never visit the hotel chain again. All the money is spent in Reception area. There is two good sides which the beds are comfy and Miguel at the bar. He's a credit to you.
