아쿠레이리 시 반대편 언덕에 위치하여 시내경치를 파노라마로 감상하기 좋음. 어르신이 현대차 산타페 2004년부터 20년타고 아직도 타심. 개인적으로 너무 취향인 호텔이었음.

冰島之旅最滿意的酒店，衹有8個房間，可以俯瞰整個對面第二大城市。房間都可以出去，一個很大的草坪，房東也很好，很晚辦理入住，還在那邊。 一早有很豐盛的早餐，都是自己在那邊做的，準備的東西也很好。前台有房東媽媽自己織的羊毛帽子圍脖，我們買了一個帽子。房間很大，衞生間也很大，酒店過道很當代極簡。這個城市也非常漂亮，全世界唯一一個城市全是愛心的紅綠燈，還有66的奧特萊斯店，城裡好吃的非常多，就是時間太趕，衹住了一晚上，還可以看到機場跑道和整個峽灣，真的太美了。 從米湖來酒店路上有一個很長的隧道，記得繳納隧道費，不然後面會有罰款。24小時內繳納都可以。

總體來説還是不錯的，冰島沒什麼好酒店，這個算是不錯的了

Alle 8 Zimmer sind geräumig und haben entweder Balkon oder Terrasse, jeweils mit Sitzmöbeln. Aufgrund seiner Hanglage hat man einen überwältigenden Blick auf die gegenüber liegende Gebirgskette, Akureyri, den Eyja-fluß sowie den Eyja-Fjord. Der Besitzer betreibt das Hotel weitgehend allein. Er ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam, einsatzfreudig und hilfsbereit. So hat er ein kleines Problem mit unserer Toilette sofort behoben, wirklich sofort, nachdem wir es ihm sagten. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, u a. gibt es fünf Sorten Obst sowie Croissants, alles wurde gleich nachgelegt. Und man kann das im Frühstücksraum mit dem tollen Blick genießen.

We stated here one night during our travels around the ring tiad. This is a delightful unassuming little hotel built on the hillside with beautiful views of Akureyri. It is perfect and the owner is a sweet gentleman who will make sure you are well taken care of. Don't hesitate. Book it!

We booked this hotel for three nights the last weekend of August . We had read all the marvellous reviews and of how nice the owner was, but the hotel and owner far exceeded our expectations. The hotel website does not do justice to how spectacular and lovely the hotel is , it’s actually also very contemporary and the finishing’s are of very high quality . The owners have put a lot of thought and love into designing this hotel for the comfort of their guests. The walls are all soundproofed so u don’t hear a thing, the rooms are of a really good size which is very rare in Iceland . The rooms are immaculately clean and very comfortable with a quality mattress for a good nights sleep . We never stayed up to see the Northern lights but the other guests did , just sat on their balconies about midnight and said it was amazing. Buffet breakfast was excellent and what a view . The area of the hotel is beautiful worth the short drive over it’s like the Beverly Hills of Akureyri . We will definitely be returning especially now that a winter direct flight path has opened up from Manchester to Akureyri.

A small hotel nestled on the hillside outside Akureyri affording good views of the Eyjafjorder, town, valley and hills opposite. The Airport is also on full display, but it is quiet and small and is a positive point of interest rather than a nuisance. Rooms are well appointed, very clean and comfortable. The host is quiet and efficient and serves that standard breakfast one encounters across the country. All in all a good option if you have a car.

My wife and I spent a night here on our Ring Road trip, and we were totally happy with it. The hotel manager who checked us in was a very friendly and helpful lady who said she was a cousin of the owner. Hope any guests get to meet her. She gave friendly suggestions for restaurants in the area, and takes you to the room. Our’s was room 8, with a spectacular view of the fjord and Akureyri. It was also clean, modern, and extremely quiet until a cement truck showed up for pouring cement after 8 am for a hotel addition they are building. But they didn’t bother us as we were already up. The breakfast was delicious, and Wi-Fi worked well. I did suggest to manager upon checkout that more pillows be provided as my bed had only one rather flattish pillow. But beds are comfy. Only other warning I’d give is that the road to hotel is a bit hard to find, and I got lost once on the way there. But once found, we had a pleasant experience and rate hotel Excellent!

We travelled the ring road around Iceland during May 2024 and this was our favourite hotel. We stayed 3 nights which is perfect for exploring the area. Close to Forest Lagoon, great for day trips to Húsavik, Dettifoss, Myvatn, etc. Lovely large, clean room with amazing views.

Me and my wife stayed at the Hafdals Hotel for two nights in mai and it was a wonderful stay. The room was big and had a balconi with a magnificent weev over the fjord, the mountains and Akureyri. The breakfast was very good and the owner was super friendly. The location is super, just a few minutes drive to Akureyri. This hotel is highly recommended.

Super great views from across the bay from Akureyri, very clean and comfortable, quite and peaceful. The room was warm, the shower was large with heated floors, great water pressure, plenty of hot water. Away from the city lights Watching the Northern lights from the private deck was extremely nice. Also, Thorarinn the owner was super friendly. We visited several times during our 2 day stay. Oh yes, killer good coffee and teas and a nice breakfast selection of fresh fruits, good breads, cereals, cheeses, various meats, juices and more. Myself as a owner of a nice high end boutique motel I highly recommend this place.

We chose this place as it was away from the main part of Akureyri, but only a few minutes drive away. With views across the water to the city, this place was perfect for us. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was very adequate and we had parking almost outside our door. Would definitely recommend staying here.
