Mazis Apartments

We have just returned from the most fantastic 4-day break and wish we could have stayed a lot longer. Staying at Mazis Apartments really made our holiday! The Mazis family were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them – they really went out of their way to make us feel at home! Our room was wonderful – bright, fresh and beautifully clean and comfortable. The balcony was superb – the view was magnificent and truly breath-taking, and we could even hear the sea! We could have happily sat there all day. The self-catering kitchen was great, with everything we could possibly need for our stay – 2 ring electric hob, microwave, plus crockery, pans, etc. The little shop on site was very well stocked, despite it being right at the start of the season. There is a lovely pool, which was very fresh(!) when we were there, but I can imagine a dip in it would be really welcome when the weather is hot. The accommodation is reached via a jolly steep hill up from the village of Agios Gordios. I did have to stop several times when climbing the hill after our trips out, but the reward of the best view ever from our balcony more than made up for it. It was the start of the season so not much was open in the village, but we were really impressed with how friendly everyone was. Corfu Town can be easily reached by bus from Agios Gordios, although the service is infrequent. All in all, a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back!

The room and facilities were excellent with incredible views from every balcony. Most importantly, Nicoletta and her family could not have been more friendly nor more helpful. Cool drinks on arrival and departure, plenty of local information and the ability to sort out any problems, in our case transport difficulties (that had not been arranged through her). Everyone in her team had a smile on their face and this in turn put one on ours! Be aware that the hotel is on a very steep hill so the walk to and from the main town is quite challenging but it means you feel you have earned your beer when you get there!

We have returned from an amazing holiday in Corfu staying in Mazis Apartments. We were a family of 6, including four teenagers, residing in x2 studios and x1 luxury apartment where we were all made to feel very welcome. We would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff from the youngest Granddaughter to perhaps the oldest family member, Grandpa, all who were incredibly helpful with assisting on arranging days out, providing information on local events, arranging taxis and helping us in times of distress (transfer taxis not arriving!) Our apartments were very comfortable and spotlessly clean, with the most spectacular views out over the bay. Dipping in out of the infinity pool was essential due to the heat of the day and often we had this to ourselves with plentiful provision of sun loungers. The family owned supermarket just below the accommodation is convenient and well stocked. With a hungry family to feed we managed to cobble together some meals in, with delicious fresh supplies. Avoiding the heat of the day exercise is achieved by a steep walk into Agios Gordios, which has a beautiful beach and is busy enough to entertain all ages.

Great location, exceptionally clean. Family run and very helpful. Hill climb back from the beach but helped me get rid of extra calories from eating my body weight in Feta cheese! Can particularly recommend Stevens on the hill/Sebastian’s to eat but ate in lots of places and all good 😊. Would absolutely go again.

We've just returned from an 11 night stay at Mazis and had the best time. The family who run the apartments are so friendly and hospitable. The pool area is lovely with an amazing view over the bay and the rooms are spacious, clean with good facilities including AC! There's a mini market next door which is handy and a snack bar just over the road at a neighbouring hotel. The walk down to the beach and restaurants is steep but not far; we managed it every day and night with a double buggy. Favourite restaurant in the area was Sebastian's but we had loads of good meals. The quad bike tour run by the pink palace was really fun! Would definitely return to Mazis again, missing those views already!

Been back in England for a week and have really missed the Mazis apartments and have very happy memories of our stay there. The views over Agios Gordios bay are spectacular and we saw an amazing sunset on nearly every evening. Of course, being high up and having great views means there is a fairly steep hill to walk up from the beach and village, and we needed to stop for breathers, especially in the hottest part of the day. Well worth it, though! The Mazis family are very welcoming, helpful and friendly and they went out of their way to make us feel at home. Rooms are very comfortable, well furnished and well equipped and kept very clean. All in all a great place to stay in one of Corfu's best resorts. Thanks very much!

My wife and I have just returned from a two week stay at the Mazis golden view apartments. Wow..lovely island, lovely resort and a lovely hotel run by a lovely family. We were welcomed by Spiros and Irini with warm smiles and cold drinks. The hotel itself is set in pretty gardens,the rooms are clean,tidy and well equipped, combined with the stunning views from the balcony you know you've made a great choice. Add to all that a wonderful sun deck with an infinity pool all with those jaw dropping views and a well stocked supermarket, it's all there. Thankyou to all the Mazis family and staff..we will be back.

Staying here at the lovely Mazis Apartments. This place is a gorgeous place to stay. The apartment is kept very clean and the host family are so welcoming and friendly. There's a hill to climb from the resort centre but if you're wanting fantastic views then there's always a hill to climb and after a few days me and my husband got used to it and we're 64 and 65 years young :-). The infinity pool is a welcome relief when coming off the beach and climbing the hill oh and there's a supermarket at the apartments. I would highly recommend staying here. So relaxing and peaceful.
