Special thanks to Afework, Tilaye, Sileshi, and Sefiw at the lounge for their tremendous service, as well as Beheilu, Befkadu, Aschalew, Legesse for their excellent service elsewhere around the hotel, and Danawit at the reception for a super smooth check-out process! Auch wenn das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen ist, ist dies noch immer der beste Platz für einen Aufenthalt oder einen beruflichen Anfang in Addis. Hier trifft jeder jeden und das über die vielen Jahre entstandene, einzigartige Ambiente sucht seinesgleichen! Dieses Hotel ist Geschichte! Die große, gepflegte Grünanlage (eine der sehr wenigen in Addis) und der Außenpool lässt einen den Stress der doch sehr herausfordernden Stadt vergessen. Der exakte Service sowie die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter sind einfach wunderbar. Dies sicherlich auch dem Umstand geschuldet, dass dieses Haus durch einen deutschen GM geführt wird. Er und seine Manager sind von früh bis spät allgegenwärtig und kümmern sich direkt um das Wohlergehen des Gastes! Für mich als Expat in Begleitung meiner Frau, der beste Ort um in Addis sein neues Leben zu starten! Herzlichen Dank!

Das Radisson Blu ist ein schönes Hotel, die Zimmer ausreichend groß und gut eingerichtet. Wir hatten ein Queen-Bett und ein Twin-Bett Zimmer. Es gibt einen Wasserkocher und einen Kühlschrank, das Bad ist großzügig mit Dusche und Wanne. Housekeeping ist exzellent wie insgesamt der Service von Security über Rezeption bis zum Management. Wir haben jederzeit die Hilfe bekommen die man sich nur wünschen kann. Leider waren wir im Restaurant nicht ganz so zufrieden, am ersten Abend wurden uns alte Pommes serviert, ein anderes Mal war der Burger mal gerade lauwarm. Das passte nicht zum ansonsten sehr guten Gesamteindruck.

Hello Hayat Regency Management, Overall, my experience was excellent, although I was unable to extend my stay and had to switch to a different hotel. Firstly, I'd like to commend the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel in general. The service provided, both at the restaurant and reception, was exceptional. Additionally, your internet service is among the best in town, which, as a Google Engineer, I can attest to. However, I must address an issue regarding the parking entry, which was quite challenging. Despite the availability of ample parking spaces, the entry point was poorly designed, making it difficult to maneuver in and out. I even sought assistance but unfortunately couldn't find any. I hope this issue can be addressed. Furthermore, there seems to be a communication gap regarding the parking, as those directing customers to the lot should clarify whether it's manageable for new arrivals. It was disappointing to be guided to the parking lot by someone representing Hayat Regency, only to find it inaccessible. Thank you for considering this feedback, and I hope it contributes to enhancing the overall experience for future guests.

I'd like to give this establishment the highest recommendation and thank reception staff for their friendly and warm-hearted assistance when dealing with my many requests. Reception staff went above and beyond to ensure all my requests were superbly dealt with in a professional manner. The hotel is located in a secure area of Addis and security staff watch your back in the vicinity. Additionally, the hotel features an excellent gym and provides 24 hour room service. The highest compliment I can pay is to say I'd definitely like to return.

Ich habe diesen Ort gebucht, weil er sehr erschwinglich war. Erst als ich ankam, wurde mir klar, wie riesig und stilvoll der Ort ist. Ich hatte kein großes, weitläufiges Hotel im Executive-Stil erwartet. Der Ort hat zwar einen Hauch von verblasstem Glanz vergangener Zeiten, ist aber ein sehr willkommener Aufenthalt. Die Teppiche sind abgenutzt, die Möbel im Foyer etwas abgenutzt, aber durchweg stilvoll und komfortabel. Das Personal ist fantastisch, das Gelände ist riesig und üppig, es gibt viele Orte zum Sitzen und Entspannen und Ghion verfügt über ein atemberaubendes Restaurant. Ein massives, zweistöckiges, rundes Holzgebäude mit einem hohen, kreisförmigen Spitzdach in eleganter, robuster traditioneller äthiopischer Bauweise. Absolut wunderschön, mit wunderbarer, authentischer äthiopischer Küche zu einem erschwinglichen Preis. Wunderbar. Meine einzige Beschwerde ist, dass die Zimmer als alter Mann mit nachlassendem Sehvermögen dunkel sind! Selbst wenn alle Lichter eingeschaltet waren, war es immer noch schwierig, etwas zu lesen, und es dauerte einige Minuten, bis das Wasser aus der Wanne oder dem Waschbecken warm wurde. Trotzdem eine absolut wunderschöne Seite, die den sehr bescheidenen Preis wert ist. Ich werde jederzeit wieder dort übernachten, wenn ich nach Addis zurückkomme.
