Hodges Bay is absolutely beautiful! The resort is very unique and well designed. Every room feels unique and special! We stayed ocean front and garden view! Both were fantastic! The staff makes you feel like family. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners Jeff and Sarah and they are the kindest warmest people you could meet. The trip over to the prickly pear was an absolute highlight! We spent most days there. Captain Sean was great! Chef Wes, Veveen, and Ashanti were super kind and attentive! The main bar by the pool was our evening destination! Marvelous, Delvin, Anastasia and Kayenne were friendly and fun! I’ve told numerous people about our trip already! Sorry if missed anyone! Can’t wait to return!!!

Das nächstgelegene Hotel zum Stadtzentrum, es ist sehr praktisch, um zum Einkaufen zu essen, empfehlen die große Banane daneben. Pizza und Pasta sind lecker. Unten ist der Pier, bereit, mit dem Boot zum Meer zu fahren, die Einrichtungen im Zimmer sind im Allgemeinen so, ich habe tatsächlich ein kleines Doppelzimmer zwei Stockwerke hoch und runter gegeben, das Bett ist oben, es ist sehr mühsam, die Treppe hinunter zu gehen? Nacht, und die Türen und Fenster sind sehr lästig. Sehr rudimentär, vor allem das Schloss, es ist so besorgniserregend! Zum Glück habe ich drei Tage gelebt, aber Antigua ist ein sehr sicheres Land.

The location of this guesthouse is perfect as a base in Antigua, or even to wander around St Johns day or night. There are two routes to walk into town. 15min walk down past the gas station will take you to the supermarket, markets and West bus station, and 15mins heading right will take you to the port, gift shops and food outlets. The guesthouse is on a residential street in a residential area, and make no mistake it is a very safe and friendly area! It can be noisy with the wildlife ( dogs, roosters and tree frogs) and noise from passing cars with music blasting out day and night, but welcome to Antigua where you will hear this everywhere, and it just adds to the experience! Prince is the most hard working Man we have met in a guesthouse setting! Prince is constantly looking at ways to improve the guest experience and after staying there for a month, we are in a position to say that he genuinely cares for his guests and chases people constantly to sort out repairs, and limit inconvenience to people. The guesthouse is spotlessly clean thanks to Prince and his housekeeper Miss Jacobs. We are happy to call them friends after the care we have received. Prince will arrange transport and advise/help book trips etc. Set your expectations to the fact that you are staying at a guesthouse where other guests come and go, you will have use of the communal kitchen and outside space, but will have your own private bathroom facilities. We used this setting as a way to meet new people and listen to their life experiences from all walks of life and from many different countries. We absolutely without a doubt will stay with Prince when we next visit Antigua. Thanks for the opportunity to meet you and Miss Jacobs.

Kleine Entwicklung von Wohnungen am Strand mit ruhigem Poolbereich, alle schön gepflegt. Die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet mit großem Kühlschrank/Frosch, 2-plate Job, Mikrowelle und Grill/Oven. Effiziente Luftkon und Deckenfans, sehr komfortabeles Bett, breites warmes Wasser, große Dusche, viele Kleidung Hangars. Die Bodenbehandlung für Moskitos wird jede Woche. Alle Mitarbeiter waren absolut wunderbar und ging aus ihrem Weg, um sicherzustellen, dass unser Aufenthalt angenehm war - unser Gepäck wurde verloren - Rezeption Mitarbeiter machen regelmäßige Anrufe zum Flughafen für uns und Haushalter hinterließ Wein und Blumen in unserem Zimmer mit einer schönen Karte saging how sorry the team was about us not having any of our personal items. We will definitely return to this ‘home from home’. The staff are the most careful we’ve met anywhere in the Caribbean.

We had a wonderful stay with Jacquie and her team at the villas at sunset lane. The rooms and bathrooms were large,well equipped with comfy beds and efficient a/c and ceiling fan. Jacquie is an amazing host and an excellent cook. Continental breakfasts were lovely but we did treat ourselves to omelettes for breakfast a couple of times and they were amazing. We also ate dinner at the villas in two occasions and they were very tasty. We certainly didn't go hungry. The villas are very clean and the staff team are friendly and helpful. Pool is lovely and also kept extremely clean. Jacquie is a perfect host who helped with sorting out the puncture we got on our hire car plus made dinner reservations and excursion reservations. The area is quiet but is 10 mins walk from the beach and a short drive into St Johns. Best rum punch on the island!!! I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed for 10 days and came home this weekend. On arrival, we were told we did not have a booking, which we had as I had all the paperwork with me confirming it all. Debbie receptionist was amazing and managed to sort it out. She gave us a room for the night on Palm Beach until she could sort out a beach bungalow that we had booked the next morning lovely as the room was I still loved the beach bungalow, which does need some updating and they are being done as when we were there we could see 2 being updated. The resort is beautiful with 4 beaches. seagrapes are where the bungalows are, and it's lovely to be able to just come out and a few steps your in the sea. The food is good, but I wish there was more salad choice in the evenings as being a vegetarian. I like a nice salad even though there was always a vegetarian choice. Staff friendly and helpful and majority always smiling. If you want a totally chill holiday here is a good place to come no TV and never missed not having one. Infinity pool small but nice views lovely. This is our 3rd time to Antigua and our 1st to this hotel. Would we come back? Yes. No hassle from beach vendors as private beaches. Sun sea and relaxation.
