We had a wonderful time at Paradise Plaza! We had the Dolphin Suite, which was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The location is perfect - right on the boardwalk - and they allow pets, which made our two cats very happy! I especially want to give a shout-out to a very helpful staffer named Logan. The thermostat in the smaller bedroom of the suite wasn't working (the one in the big room worked fine) so we called the front desk. Logan came to fix it, but determined that a crucial part (condenser coil, I think?) needed to be replaced, but would need to be ordered. He offered to switch us to a different room, but we declined. So instead, he brought us not one, but TWO enormous fans so the room would stay cool! Great staff at this hotel! We're already looking forward to staying here next summer!

This hotel is impeccable and the NICEST that I have ever stayed at! Very clean and the amenities of the room are also impeccable! I was on the 14th floor and even though the elevator took a bit to get up or down, (only drawback), I did take the stairs once but only to the 6th floor! Then I took the elevator the rest of the way up! This really was an incredible experience, all positive! Stay here, you won't be sorry!

Ausgezeichnetes Strandhotel. Meine Familie besucht Ocean City jedes Jahr und hält sich normalerweise auf der Nordseite der Stadt. Wir haben beschlossen, eine Chance auf ein Hotel aus der Fahrt zu nehmen und wir sind so froh, dass wir es getan haben. Das wird unser zu viel Platz für zukünftige Ocean City-Besichtigungen sein. Das Personal war großartig! Dank NeKeah, Danielle und Abbigail waren sie wunderbar und machten unseren Aufenthalt schrecklich. Sie begrüßten mich jeden Tag mit Namen und waren dort, um uns zu helfen, wann immer es nötig war.

This is a no frills, no thrills motel. Right in the heart of downtown ocean city , 2 minute walk across the street to the boardwalk. Our motel room was clean, bed bug protectors on mattresses, fresh coat of paint on the walls in the room. Paint on exterior doors was chipping significantly. Microwave was not cleaned thoroughly & old. Refrigerator was clean inside. There is a night stand in the middle of the 2 beds, but no lamp . Accessibility to outlets in the room we had was limited to 2 outlets. Bathroom is dated, old tile , wind open window, no exhaust fan. Water pressure was good In the sink. But no sink strainer , so if you dropped something over the sink that is small enough to go down the drain (then you can just say “bye”) because the drain was wide opened. Shower was interesting. If anyone has leg issues stepping up, then they’d never make it in this shower because it is not handicap accessible. You have to setup to get in the shower and then the shower sort of slopes inwards. Water pressure was fine, it was the fluctuation of water temperature that STUNK. It was either TOO hot or TOO cold. Absolutely NO IN BETWEEN!!!! Outside of the rooms , there were chairs to sit and enjoy the sights. I don’t care for the fact that smoking people were put next to non-smoking people. & there was no option to state that @ time of booking. There is not any garbage cans on the floors outside the rooms, only 1 HUGE trash can on the street level. Wish they had trash cans scattered around the property. Pool was SMALL, pool sitting area is small. They need more chairs in the pool area. Pool was cloudy. You can smell the chlorine but once you were in the pool you couldn’t see anymore then a foot down. VERY CLOUDY. Housekeeping guy was nice. Anytime we needed towels or other room items he would just put the items in a bag and on our door. Noise in this area is “OK”. Across the street is a Indian food place that you walk up and order food and then you can sit in chairs on the side of the building to eat your food. (No Tables) It was VERY BUSY during the late night hours. The amount of firetrucks, ambulances, and police cars was insane in this area of ocean city. It felt like being in the middle of manhattan every day and night. So, if your looking for a motel in the downtown area, near everything and all the action , then this is the place . There are other hotels right near this motel as well. Overall hotel was clean, affordable, but just in the middle of all the action. Parking stinks as well. You literally are backing up into the middle of the road, and when traffic was backed up , you would not be able to get out. There was parking in the back of the building, don’t know what that was like. Parking in the “limited” front spots is tight. So if your a bigger person then your going to want to get a “end” spot to give your self a little more room to get in/out of your vehicle.

This is our go to hotel in OC, clean and directly on the beach. The hotel is safe and there is plenty of parking. Pool bar and food was good with a nice staff. There is also a Starbucks coffee shop in the lobby which was handy. Hotel is on the expensive side but it delivers a good experience.

Alles war großartig! ”Peaches” war unser Scheck in der Mädchen und sie war so süß und nett. Oben und darüber willkommen. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel, außer die Betten sind ein wenig fest. Personal war mit allen Fragen, die wir während unseres Aufenthalts gestellt haben, vertraut. Der Spaziergang zum Strand ist schneller, dann nimmt es das rote Licht zu ändern. Am Tag der Auscheckung fragten wir, ob es ok wäre, wenn wir das Auto im Parkplatz verlassen und in den Pool ein paar Stunden vor dem Zuhause, und sie waren perfekt cool mit diesem. Der Dachpool ist so nett mit einer Bar und konstanten Brise. Wir buchen ein ”Bay Front” Zimmer, aber wir hatten unerwartet eine wirklich nette Aussicht auf die Bay von unserem Zimmer. Diese sind die Gründe, warum ich seit Jahren wieder an der Prinzessin Bayside gekommen.

I love the Hilton Garden Inn at the Virginia Beach Ocean Front. All the staff is so nice and very friendly. Ronnie the valet is super nice. He always has a smile on his face and is super-fast at getting your car. The only problem I had for the last couple of years is that the vents in the rooms are not cleaned. I mean never. They are filthy. I would get another hotel, but I would not have the view like at the Hilton. Every morning, we watch the sun rise and also see the dolphins swim by. If I had a side view of the ocean, I would be very upset. I hope this year the housekeeping staff cleans those vents, in the bathroom also. I hope when I return in the summer of 2025 I don't have to take my dust rag and charge the Hilton for cleaning the room.

It was great to be able to close off our room from the kids for privacy, but there is only 1 thermostat and I pretty much froze out my kids because I like to sleep cold. Positives: Room comfort, cleanliness, able to close off to separate rooms, full kitchen, large balcony, location, elevators numerous and working fast, double sinks in the bathroom Negatives: Single thermostat doesn't allow for different sleeping temperatures in a room that can be closed off into 2 different areas, closing the kids pool so early in the day on hot August days makes no sense (I am sure it is a lifeguard issue) and the other pool is not available late either and doesn't have the hot tub (over at the kiddie pool instead), the adult meals that are part of the meal package are stupid small and limited items, high jacuzzi tub threshold makes it difficult for seniors to get into the shower. I don't need a handicap accessible room, but it was hard getting in and out of the shower. Wifi can't handle the load during peak hours

My wife had written a poor review on this site but now it is no longer available. They got our reservation mixed up and gave us a third-floor room on the street side. I am disabled and cannot walk up the steps with luggage. The carpet in the hallway was gross and the room wasn't cleaned well. When Rosemary was told about this, she said that we were told there were not first floor canal views available. We never talked to anyone about our reservation, and we were told by Karen, who was rude, when we called to inquire about the motel that it was the change of shift, and we have to do everything online and she hung up on us. My wife told Rosemary this before we actually checked in! I can back and told her without an elevator, we couldn't stay. She told me that there wasn't anything that she could do. She did check to see if other rooms were available on the first, and they were not as she said everyone was already in their rooms. My wife told her we couldn't stay and she said there was nothing that we could do. She was very upset and so we had to leave. She never offered to credit our account or to provide us with a credit for another time. She called my wife this morning and acted like she didn't what was going on? I am now writing another review to make sure that anyone who stays here knows about the situation and just how unprofessional they are.

Als wir das Hotel ankamen, informierte uns der Büroberater, dass das Zimmer, das wir beantragt hatten, obwohl Trip.com nicht verfügbar war. Nach weiteren Ausführungen mit Stacy der stellvertretende Generalmanager wurde festgestellt, dass in der Reservierung der Reise.com tatsächlich falsch war und nicht das Zimmer, für das wir bezahlt haben, reserviert. Stacy ging oben und darüber, um den Fehler zu beheben und uns auf ein anderes Zimmer und mehr upgraded . Wir schätzen alles, was sie getan hat . Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit während unseres Aufenthalts .

Der Service war großartig! Das Hotel war gut gepflegt-innerhalb und draußen. Unser Zimmer war super sauber und komfortabel und wir hatten genügend Waschbecken und Handtücher und das Wasser war schön und heiß! Der Blick vom Balkon war eine wunderschöne Ergänzung. Ich genossen auch den Komplimentar-Tee und Kaffee. Mein Mann und ich haben bereits beschlossen, dass wir bei unserem nächsten Besuch dort bleiben werden.

Have enjoyed staying at Carousel condos for many years. Some units need updating(!) & had a 1st time ever reservation glitch(!) - Only reasons not 5 stars. Other than that, always a very enjoyable stay. Great amenities, especially the beach bar. This year was even better with DJ Nigel. He plays great music for ALL ages (5 to 93 one night!!) and interacted with everyone in a genuine and personable way. We don't travel to nightlife spots much anymore. Nigel brought the fun right to us!!! Five stars for Nigel!

Place is clean,view to the ocean is beautiful.It is literally steps to the ocean. Do not miss sunrise from hotel balcony -ocean view on the top floor. Staff very responsive to our needs. If you plan to eat at Jack pancake for breakfast, be there before 9 am .The place will fill up quickly. It is convenient to everywhere both walking and driving distances. Boardwalk is not too crowded on this location because there is also Howard Johnson towards the middle of the ***** where the crowd and businesses are. Our stay was wonderful and will definitely book here.

Das Kühlschrank in dem Zimmer wurde ausgeschaltet, als wir ankamen (vermutlich um Strom/Geld zu sparen?) und wir wurden davon gesprochen, es funktionierte, aber es könnte bis zu 4 Stunden dauern, um eine vernünftige Kalttemperatur zu erreichen. Warum wurde es nicht vor unserer Ankunft von der Mitarbeiter überschaltet? Die Bettwäsche hatten ein paar kleine Farben, aber das Bett wurde schnell gereift, als wir es gefragt. Die Safe in dem Zimmer für Ihre wertvolle ist nicht in den Preis enthalten und wird für ihre tägliche Verwendung gezahlt. Wir haben beschlossen, es nicht überhaupt zu verwenden, weil das. Das Frühstück im Preis war sehr grundlegende und das Frühstücksbereich war klein. Die meisten Leute nahmen ihr Essen zurück in ihr Zimmer. Das Zimmer selbst war grundlegend, aber für unsere Nutzung akzeptabel und der Balkon, der dem Strand gegenüber steht, war ideal. Wir mögen nicht, dass die Privatsphäre von der Zimmer nebenan begrenzt war. Die Innen- und Außenpools erschienen ausreichend und sauber genug, obwohl es möglich gewesen wären mehr Pool-Towels auf der Innenstelle. Das Hotelpersonal war angenehmen, zugänglich und ansprechend auf unsere Anfragen und schienen auf der Arbeit zu sein. Das Hotel befindet sich in einer Übergangszeit, nachdem es gerade überkauft und umbenannt wurde, aber die Eigentümer/Verwalter müssen besser tun und mehr Geld und Zeit in dieses Gebäude investieren. Ich hoffe, dass in der kommenden Zeit Verbesserungen zu sehen, oder die Qualität der Inn wird nur ein Name und nicht eine Angabe. Trotz allem anderen genossen wir unserem Aufenthalt hier und ich würde es empfehlen, und hoffe, die Bewertungen von anderen, die in diesem Jahr dort geblieben sind zu lesen.

We literally had the best time. We LOVE staying at Princess Royale and have been for years. The staff is very outgoing, everyone always says hello, and the hotel front desk staff was so helpful! We LOVE the pool, we didn’t get in this time, but we enjoyed sitting around and relaxing. Always super clean. We stayed in a newly renovated room this time as well and it was so nice, the new look is fantastic. We also love the location since it’s pretty central to uptown and downtown. I’m always raving about here to my friends, best place to stay in Ocean City! Royale Roasters is also fantastic, nice to be able to grab coffee without leaving and having to drive anywhere. Thank you again for an amazing stay- we are looking forward to coming back this winter for another stay-cation. Our daughter loves it here! Pictures are posted with this review- I believe it’s the 2 bedroom Ocean Front Suite with corner balcony— beautiful 😍 and so spacious!

Lassen Sie mich Ihnen sagen... verdient nicht eine zweite Chance. Die Lage ist großartig. Kann nicht uns zustimmen. Es ist prima, Aber so sind viele andere zu sehr ähnlichen Preisen. Das Zimmer und das Hotel. Ja, die Außenportal ist charmant. Ja, die Rezeption ist gemütlich, aber das ist nicht, wo Sie die meisten Ihrer Zeit verbringen. Das bringt mich in die Zimmer. Sie sind unkomfortabel klein. Vertrauen Sie nicht auf die Bilder auf ihrer Website. Die Betten sind klein, das Zimmer ist klein, das Badezimmer ist klein. Alles fühlte sich sehr klaustrophobisch. Es gibt keinen Gegenstand für etwas!! Wir hatten geplant, ein paar Sandwiche für den Strand zu fertigen! Haben Sie ein kleines Frühstück im Zimmer (Getreide, Bäckereien, etc.).Wir haben die Ausgaben auf Restaurants beendet, weil wir nur nicht den Platz zu doSO haben! 3. Reinigkeit. Das Teppich ist überwältigend, in den Hallen und in den Schlafzimmern. Das Zimmer ist nicht gut gepflegt. Die Möbel sind geschnitten und russig, die Fensterstühle sind flüchtig, etc. Ich kann weiter gehen und weiter. Insgesamt haben wir es durch die 5 Tage gemacht, aber wir empfehlen Ihnen, NICHT in diesem Hotel zu bleiben. Meine Frau und ich wollten nachdenken, wer mit diesen Standards ok sein könnte. Jüngere Leute? Niedriger Haushalt? Eine oder ein junges Paar? Aber ehrlich gesagt können wir keine Eignung für jemanden finden. Es ist ganz schrecklich. Bleib weg.

Our 2 king bed room on the fourth floor was immaculate. The beds were very comfortable, the room was large, simply and adequately furnished with a comfortable side chair, desk and desk chair, big screen TV, lots of drawer storage and very nice balcony overlooking the pickle ball courts. Our housekeeper, Alice, did a wonderful job making sure our room was spotless. The Sea Bay Cafe associated with the hotel was delightful and the restaurant manager, Miguel was outstanding.

Great location, right on boardwalk and beach! Friendly staff, clean room and bathroom. Great view from balcony. Restaurant, donut shop and ice cream shop on site. Journey the front desk clerk is exceptional. She is professional, friendly and knows how to properly treat customers. Hotel could be updated, fresh paint, a/c was falling apart in room, I had to Pop it back in place, curtains were dirty, toilet seat should had been replaced , loose, and chipped on seat.Hot Breakfast is amazing and dining area is clean. Our family enjoyed our stay because the hotel was quiet, we slept well in comfortable beds and definitely because Journey went out of her way to keep customers pleased. Thanks for a great vacation from home. That's why 5 stars. Ms. Pat

Poor customer experience from the time you check in at the front desk. Staff at the front desk makes you feel unwelcome not sure why, explain in a harsh tone what is allowed and not allowed during our stay. As soon as you are in the room, saw Phone was out of order, probably intentionally so that no one has to attend, toiletries were not filled either. Next day noted Congested breakfast area, probably over 100 rooms and there was only one toaster. Not sure what they think when hotel is full during busy summer travel. No bread or bagel during one of the day, excuse was the bagels still frozen, so did not serve, not sure what that means. Did not expect this kind of customer experience from a national brand like this but I guess hotel probably be going in the same direction of airline during these Covid travel days. This is my 2nd and last visit to this hotel. However, we will definitely visit the north side park, a hidden gem and the reason for our stay at the hotel.

Only the second time that I have been compelled to leave a review on Trip Advisor. From the moment we were allowed to check in Anna at the front desk recognized the size of my truck and went above and beyond to ask an employee to move their vehicle and secured a space to accommodate easy in/out for my truck and family. What started as an uncomfortable 1st night sleep due to a bad mattress, was quickly rectified by Anna and the maintenance staff early Saturday morning. Anna worked with maintenance and housekeeping to replace the mattress that had an entire side of bad springs with a new mattress and fresh linens, even going above and beyond the maintenance staff recognized the difference in the two mattresses and replaced both. Beyond satisfied with the service and quick action. As a side note, the room was clean and fresh, but I don't believe that housekeeping would have noticed the bad mattress and perhaps prior occupants never raised the issue to the front desk, leaving the issue for follow-on hotel guests. I live by the motto of leaving something better than found and besides ensuring a comfortable stay for myself, but hopefully a more pleasant staff for hotel visitors for room 509 into the future! When you book a hotel room in Ocean City between Memorial Day and Labor Day, you can count on two things: Astronomical rates and a guest experience below what you’d expect elsewhere for those prices. The Doubletree has both. But if you accept the reality that this is the new normal for all OC hotels during the busy season, you could certainly do worse than the Doubletree. The good: The rooms and common areas are clean and generally well-maintained. This isn’t an easy accomplishment with the combination of sand, salt air, and a seasonal housekeeping staff. The beachfront location is hard to beat. There are also nice pools with plenty of chairs as well as a spacious picnic area. The staff is friendly and helpful. Unlike a lot of the newer hotels, the walls are not paper-thin and there are no connecting rooms. It’s not loud. Needs Improvement: The room’s thermostats are locked at 68 degrees and the AC units are very loud, turning off and on throughout the night. With the high humidity of ocean air, the system is not up to the job. (For us, this was the one dealbreaker that would keep us from returning. Your tolerance for it may be higher). Housekeeping is hit or miss: One of our days they came, one day they just forgot. Service at the restaurant is slow and inattentive. Some of the electrical outlets in our room did not work. The property looks dated, and several minor things need maintenance. Bottom Line: If you want to pay dearly for a beachfront hotel in peak season, the Doubletree is a decent choice. It’s family-friendly, clean, and the location is hard to beat. Don’t expect the experience you’d get at an urban Hilton for the same premium rates, and you won’t be disappointed.

Schöne Lage mitten in der Stadt. Das hauseigene Restaurant war super praktisch. Wir waren im Winter hier und haben das Hallenbad und das Spielzimmer genutzt. Alle Angestellten, denen wir begegneten, waren super nett und gaben den Kindern heiße Schokolade, die ich süß fand. Älteres Hotel, das auf den Fluren zu sehen ist, aber das Interieur des Zimmers hat einige Updates und scheint insgesamt super sauber zu sein. Die Küche hatte alles was man braucht! Für den Preis war es perfekt! Werde auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten!

This was a great hotel to stay at for a week while our daughter’s softball team played in a tournament. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pool is outside right on the water. The fitness center is up on the 7th floor so you work out while looking out over the water. But mostly I want to compliment the staff. Everyone I talked to was nice and helpful. And then after I checked out and was on my way to the airport I realized that I had left several items in my room including my wedding ring. I messaged the hotel in the chat function on the app and explained the situation. They could not have been nicer. They went right away to the room and found the items and held them at the desk until a friend could pick them up. Thank you to the wonderful staff!

Wir waren in Zimmer 335. Wir hatten fast einen Nullwasserdruck in der Dusche und die Dusche schüttete sich wie ein warmer Teeketel die ganze Zeit, die wir es nutzten. Der vorderen rechten Brenner auf dem Stein arbeitete nicht und das untere Element auf dem Ofen auch nicht. Er war sehr nett, aber er sagte, sie hätten keine Ersatzteile. Er schlug vor, es einfach auf der Masteinstellung zu verwenden. Aufgrund dessen haben wir Geld auf einigen der Gemüse, die wir gekauft haben, verloren und konnten nicht kochen. Auf dem Teppich waren einige Farben. Unser Zimmer war sehr laut, weil es in der Nähe einer Art von Belüftungssystem war. Wir haben Zustellwaren geliefert und der Lieferservice war besorgt, weil es nur Außenzugang zu unserer Seite des Hotels ohne Aufzug gab. Saunen waren nicht offen. Einer der Heißröhren war kaum wärmer als Zimmertemperatur unsere ganze Aufenthalt. Die andere war nett. Einer der Mitarbeiter war brutal zu meiner teenager Tochter und ihrem Freund, als sie ausgeschlossen wurden und einen anderen Schlüssel brauchten. Lage war sehr nett. Alle anderen Mitarbeiter waren nett. Slushees an der Bar wir sind gut!

Being team mom of an 11u boys travel baseball Team, I was put in charge to find us lodging in Ocean City, MD in July! That's a task in itself. I reached out to several hotels to try to get a decent group rate. The Comfort Inn Gold Coast was the best rate by far. Location is great so figured we would give it a shot! I worked with Meghan Campbell from start to finish. She kept in touch with me when needed and worked with me on adding/removing rooms/dates as well as the payment and rooming list dates. She was absolutely wonderful to work with and we will be back. All families had a wonderful time! The hotel is clean and very accommodating for a travel baseball team/family. It was also perfectly located for where our tournament was held which was Northside Park! Public beach access was just across the street, which made us easy for the families to enjoy their time. Highly recommend this hotel as well as Meghan for group reservations. We will be back next year!!
