We had a suite on the 4th floor. The good stuff: 1. Hotel is in a great location 2. The room was very large and it had a lovely big terrace 3. Room was well appointed and spotlessly clean 4. Lovely big comfy bed 5. The valet parking service is very efficient 6. Welcoming staff 7. Water, fruit and sparking wine in the room The stuff that could be better: 1. Very small bathroom considering the size of the room with weirdly a huge 2 person jacuzzi bath in a separate room which I couldn’t work out how to use. Would be better to have a decent size bathroom with an ordinary bath in it 2. Breakfast not included and was overpriced at 25 euros per person to add it on 3. No tea or coffee making facilities 4. There were so many light switches and lots of them didn’t make sense. It took ages to work out which switch turned on each light. Overall I recommend this hotel as a good place to stay.

    Dirty is the word. Should have listened to other reviewers about the cleanliness of this hotel and the rude staff. So, firstly, our greeting at midday as we walked into this not so easy to find hotel was ‘you’re too early for checkin’. My absolute pet hate greeting. Not a greeting at all. As I then explained to the ‘gentleman’ behind the counter, I can tell the time. All we wanted to do was to leave luggage. What ever happened to ‘let’s see what we can do?’ As we all know not all hotels run at 100% every night meaning there may be empty clean rooms. Okay, so the lack of lighting in the bedroom we can almost cope with. No overhead lighting at all. Just three lamps. iPhone torch essential to try and work out how to use the air conditioning. The air conditioning doesn’t really work anyway. The lack of light in the bathroom is a bigger worry. Again no overhead lighting just the flickering backlight behind the mirror. But perhaps low lighting is not a bad idea given the cleanliness of the bathroom, more on that later. Lack of lighting in the bathroom is unacceptable. The shower screen in the bathroom makes no sense the way it works, designed for thin people only. Not acceptable. The shower head is wrong design and the holder is broken and so just doesn’t work. Therefore the shower head has to be handheld which we do not find convenient at all. Not acceptable. Marks/stains on the very thin threadbare towels, not acceptable. But the cleanliness of the bathroom was the real worry. Wiping the floor, on day one, with the bath mat turned it brown as in faeces brown. But let’s give them a chance. So next day, in theory after the room has been cleaned, there are still those unidentified brown marks on the wall by the toilet paper holder. You can decide what they are. The toilet seat is poorly attached and moves. Not acceptable. Curtain rails but no curtains? Who took the curtains? Breakfast was reasonable. The guy, Nicola, serving coffee at breakfast was very good. Rooms were small. Have I mentioned the tiny black creatures that look like ants on the bedside table? I just hope they are not bed bugs. Check our guy was almost friendly and pleasant. Thanks to him. I must finish. Would we ever stay there again? Absolutely not. Would I recommend it? Absolutely not. Would I ask for my money back. Yes! Would I ever get it? I guess not!!

We stayed at the Palazzo for three nights, it was a great base to explore Puglia. It was also an easy 4 min walk to the old town of Lecce. We had a car and there was plenty of free street parking near the Palazzo. The Palazzo is a little hard to find at first as it just has a plaque on the wall beside the front door. The staff were very friendly and explained everything about the Palazzo and also things to do and see in Lecce. They were very patient and answered all our questions. Our room was up three flights of stairs but luckily they had installed a small lift so we were able to send the bags up the stairs and we walked. Our room was large with a kitchen, eating area, separate daybed area as well as a large bedroom and bathroom. We had lots of French doors on to a balcony so we could open the doors at night and catch a breeze. It did have air conditioning. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I always think beds in Italian hotels look so uncomfortable as they have quite a small hard looking mattress but when you lie in them they are very comfortable. The breakfast was served in a lovely room on the ground floor, there were plenty of options. Lots of sweet treats, the pasticciotto was divine….make sure you try it if you go to Lecce. The only thing that could be improved at breakfast is perhaps a toaster and maybe poached eggs. I heard a few people ask for them and I would have loved to have some as well. Not a deal breaker, just a suggestion. We had a great stay here and would highly recommend it.

Eine super Unterkunft! Tolle, moderne und sehr saubere Zimmer. Die Aircon hält die Zimmer kühl. Sehr leise und doch perfekt gelegen. Ilaria und Emanuela halten mit den beiden Perlen alles am Laufen. Perfekter Service, nichts ist Ihnen zu viel, unglaublich höflich und lustig. Tolles Frühstück, alles was man möchte. Und sehr gute Betten, würden wir immer wieder buchen. Grazie👍 Una sistemazione super! Camere ottime, moderne e molto pulite. L'aria condizionata mantiene le stanze fresche. Molto tranquillo e tuttavia perfettamente posizionato. Ilaria ed Emanuela fanno filare tutto liscio con le due perle. Servizio perfetto, niente è troppo per voi, incredibilmente educati e divertenti. Ottima colazione, tutto ciò che si può desiderare. E letti molto buoni, prenoteremmo ancora e ancora. Grazie👍

Unfortunately I had the worst night sleep I've ever had in this hotel. Well to be accurate, I got no sleep at all! They have spent money on doing up their hotel and the lobby and restaurant looks stunning, and the breakfast was great. However, they have not given the same attention to detail to their rooms. There was a smell that was like drains in the room which was horrible.There is a dangerous shelf with a metal railings hanging above the place you put a suitcase which my partner hit his head on the sharp corner... not a clever decision to put it there. The paintwork in our room was unfinished, the towels were threadbare, and the mattress was truly terrible - so cheap and so uncomfortable I was in great pain. I went to complain at 2am and was taken to another empty room to give me a pillow from the bed there - I asked if I could sleep in that room instead but I was told I wasn't allowed to. We had a second night there, so as I could not sleep due to the cheap old mattress, I spent the night searching for another hotel to stay in. It then took two more days to get the hotel to refund me for the second night and lots of phone calls as they had to take it up with the hotel owner Aloisi who was on holiday. They should have refunded me for the first night too really as I was treated terribly. Even the nice Receptionist on the desk in the morning -Maurizio said they didn't get it right, and I should have been offered another room. So no personal service received there at all. It would have been nice to have heard from Aloisi himself with an apology.

Excellent location, 20 minutes walk from train station and back door gives direct access to the brilliant centro storico. Very pleasant stay at the Arryvo Hotel. Very modern interior, modern room design, with comfortable bed and clean rooms. A nice seating area on the first floor and a sizable coffee shop/restaurant. Breakfast is a la carte from the menu and was a refreshing change from the norm of buffet breakfasts. The onsite washing and drying machines were a massive bonus. Extremely warm welcome at reception on check-in, extremely helpful and similar upon checkout. Id absolutely stay again if I return to Lecce in future.

We were welcomed by a friendly staff. The place looks really nice with all sorts of unique Arabic style decorations. A very pleasant place to relax with a hugh 40x40 meter pool. You can also use the spa area. Very nice is the back garden where you can chill out on your outdoor bed and couch. Breakfast was extensive. The only negative thing were the plastic cups in the room and plastic foiled slippers. I would have expected more sustainable solutions.

Der Palazzo bietet wunderschön renovierte Zimmer und ein fabelhaftes Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf die Altstadt. Eine traumhafte Atmosphäre. Das Frühstück hat absolut keine Wünsche offen gelassen, war mehr als reichlich und mit Top Qualität (Exotische Früchteplatte, typische lokale Speisen) alles raffiniert zubereitet. Die Besitzer, allen voran Silvia, waren überaus liebenswürdig und offen. Wir haben uns in jeder Hinsicht wohl gefühlt. Einzig und allein der Straßenlärm (Durchzugsstraße) und die nervige Parkplatzsuche trübten diesen perfekten Aufenthalt.

Großer Ort mit erstaunlichem, freundlichem, freundlichem Personal. Sie waren alle sehr aufmerksam und auf dem bereit. Kostenlose Parkplätze um das Gebäude waren kein Problem. Große Strände sind nur etwa 25-30 Minuten Fahrt entfernt. Sie haben bestimmte Aktivitäten und Empfehlungen, wenn Sie nicht mit einem Plan kommen, aber es gibt sicherlich viele Orte, um zu überprüfen. Buchet ein privates Zimmer für 2 Personen und es war groß und geräumig. Das gemeinsame Badezimmer und Dusche waren im gleichen Stock und sehr nah. Typische Hostel Vibes. Würde empfehlen und überlegen, wieder zu bleiben.

We had an amazing stay here at this B&B with all thanks to Simona! She kept the room so clean, she made an amazing breakfast ( and a killer cappuccino!!!) and was so helpful with all of our questions we had about our stay in the Puglia region, most importantly she did it with a smile on her face all of the time. It is in a great location with it being walking distance to lots of bus stops and the main city centre. We rented a car to drive to different coastal beach towns all over the Salento region each day, and the loaction was super close to all of the major highways. Great place to stay in Lecce!

Stanze ampie, luminose, pulitissime e fornite di tutti i comfort e di porte blindate. Lo staff molto gentile, sorridente e disponibile. Ci hanno permesso di fare il check-in in anticipo, agevolando il nostro soggiorno (purtroppo breve) a Lecce. La colazione varia, genuina e abbondante, dolce e salata. Ho apprezzato tantissimo il caffè servito nella moka. La proprietaria disponibilissima, discreta e molto accogliente ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Consiglio Casa Mamma Elvira e ci tornerò sicuramente. We had a suite on the 4th floor. The good stuff: 1. Hotel is in a great location 2. The room was very large and it had a lovely big terrace 3. Room was well appointed and spotlessly clean 4. Lovely big comfy bed 5. The valet parking service is very efficient 6. Welcoming staff 7. Water, fruit and sparking wine in the room The stuff that could be better: 1. Very small bathroom considering the size of the room with weirdly a huge 2 person jacuzzi bath in a separate room which I couldn’t work out how to use. Would be better to have a decent size bathroom with an ordinary bath in it 2. Breakfast not included and was overpriced at 25 euros per person to add it on 3. No tea or coffee making facilities 4. There were so many light switches and lots of them didn’t make sense. It took ages to work out which switch turned on each light. Overall I recommend this hotel as a good place to stay.

    Dirty is the word. Should have listened to other reviewers about the cleanliness of this hotel and the rude staff. So, firstly, our greeting at midday as we walked into this not so easy to find hotel was ‘you’re too early for checkin’. My absolute pet hate greeting. Not a greeting at all. As I then explained to the ‘gentleman’ behind the counter, I can tell the time. All we wanted to do was to leave luggage. What ever happened to ‘let’s see what we can do?’ As we all know not all hotels run at 100% every night meaning there may be empty clean rooms. Okay, so the lack of lighting in the bedroom we can almost cope with. No overhead lighting at all. Just three lamps. iPhone torch essential to try and work out how to use the air conditioning. The air conditioning doesn’t really work anyway. The lack of light in the bathroom is a bigger worry. Again no overhead lighting just the flickering backlight behind the mirror. But perhaps low lighting is not a bad idea given the cleanliness of the bathroom, more on that later. Lack of lighting in the bathroom is unacceptable. The shower screen in the bathroom makes no sense the way it works, designed for thin people only. Not acceptable. The shower head is wrong design and the holder is broken and so just doesn’t work. Therefore the shower head has to be handheld which we do not find convenient at all. Not acceptable. Marks/stains on the very thin threadbare towels, not acceptable. But the cleanliness of the bathroom was the real worry. Wiping the floor, on day one, with the bath mat turned it brown as in faeces brown. But let’s give them a chance. So next day, in theory after the room has been cleaned, there are still those unidentified brown marks on the wall by the toilet paper holder. You can decide what they are. The toilet seat is poorly attached and moves. Not acceptable. Curtain rails but no curtains? Who took the curtains? Breakfast was reasonable. The guy, Nicola, serving coffee at breakfast was very good. Rooms were small. Have I mentioned the tiny black creatures that look like ants on the bedside table? I just hope they are not bed bugs. Check our guy was almost friendly and pleasant. Thanks to him. I must finish. Would we ever stay there again? Absolutely not. Would I recommend it? Absolutely not. Would I ask for my money back. Yes! Would I ever get it? I guess not!!

Strategische Lage, Zentral, aber ruhig. Im Grün eines Platzes gedämpft. Bars und Räume für junge Menschen in der Nähe, aber mit Zeiten ohne Störungen bis spät. Neue, saubere und sehr saubere Zimmer in jedem Einzelfall. Reinigt jeden Tag außer Sonntag. Unentschieden Aufenthalt. Mit Bonus-Ferien leicht Zuschlag, aber sicher zurück zu uns.

I have been traveling solo for over 20 years and this is by far the worse experience I’ve ever had in Italy. Aggressive messaging for a week to know the exact time of my arrival, which I did. On the day of arrival, they proceeded to messaged me again to negotiate my arrival time to suit their needs. I was 1h30 min drive away and they wanted me to arrive an hour earlier than I had told them. Why?! there is nobody when you arrive: the key is in a locked box & they give you the combination. So what was the purpose of all those repeated useless communications? Just to annoy people on vacation I guess! Getting to the location is miserable, the old town is a maze of one ways and the only streets with access were blocked by tables and chairs from nearby coffee shops, and another was blocked by city vehicles. Called the reception to get assistance, but they could neither guide me or send me the directions. I was literally one block away! It’s so ridiculous you get the craziest fluff et of messages from this place, eating up your phone data but not one of these messages was about the precise way to get to the house without getting stuck. Ended up going outside of the old town to park and came back on foot. The room was hot and smelled a bit like a sewer on arrival.

Arrived in Lecce hotel to hot rooms, no in room internet, cots in rooms? closed pool and location in middle of no where. Very Late to try to organize a dinner in Lecce (on a Friday night) Hotel food service was disapponting . Limited menu, poor service, unpleasant atmosphere (in a large banquet hall) This hotel was a big disappointment. Too far from the city as we were booked in for three nights as part of a tour package. Hotel tried to tell us that rooms do have wifi internet. Previous reviews on social media say that this hotel has spotty/no Wi-Fi in rooms. Appears to be on going issue. Given it is classed as a conference centre I don't know why they didn't have suitable internet. Throughout our other 3 weeks in Italy it was never a problem. Guests should be informed prior to stay that outdoor pool closes Sept 1st. Would have definitely spent last afternoon at pool if we could. Instead, looked at a green pool through the window. Generally grounds looked a bit overgrown and under managed. Surrounding area around hotel and roads leading into hotel were dirty and unkept.

Es gibt Orte, wo man sich vom ersten Moment an wie zuhause fühlt. So ist es mit dem Palazzo St Anna, der von Signora Beatrice behutsam , sehr geschmackvoll und viel Respekt für die Geschichte saniert wurde. Kein Zimmer gleicht dem anderen, doch jedes hat seinen eigenen Charme und Komfort. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Qualität der Betten, wir haben selten außer Haus so gut geschlafen wie hier. Wer Schwierigkeiten mit Treppen hat, sollte sich vorher informieren. Wir waren im Nebenhaus untergebracht und mussten bis zu unserem Zimmer zuerst eine steile Treppe erklimmen. Das Frühstück wird in einem sehr stimmungsvollen Rahmen serviert, die Auswahl lässt keine Wünsche offen: begonnen vo pikanten Quiches über gefüllte Auberginenröllchen, Mozzarelle und Käse, von täglich wechselnden Torten bis zu frischem Obst, Säften, Joghurt und Cerealien. Alles sehr schmackhaft und stets liebevoll angerichtet. Das gesamte Team des Palazzo St Anna ist stets bemüht, ihren Gästen jeden Wunsch von den Augen abzulesen. Ob es sich um eine Tischreservierung handelt, einen Friseur oder um andere touristische Informationen. Das Team um Signa Francesca und Sgr. Matteo waren stets imstande, uns mit den besten Tipps die Zeit in Lecce zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis werden zu lassen.Sogar am Abend wird den Gästen eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit auf das Zimmer serviert. Wir haben uns selten in einem Hotel so gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Wie wir erfahren haben, kann man im Palazzo St Anna auch einen Kochkurs buchen. Momentan wird der Palazzo um einige weitere Zimmer und Suiten sowie einem eigen Restaurant erweitert. Wir wünschen Sgra Beatrice und ihrem engagierten Team dazu gutes Gelingen und allen Erfolg, den sie wirklich verdienen.

Eine der größten Orte, die ich je gehabt habe, kam ich hier für meinen Geburtstag und mein Gott war es phänomenal, wir blieben im Zimmer mit dem Untergrundpool und es war nicht enttäuscht, wir waren so entspannt und hatten den besten Aufenthalt je, Wir wurden begrüßt und behandelt wie die Königsherrschaft nichts war zu viel, der Manager war so angenehm und willkommen und wir sind alle Mitarbeiter, wir gingen zur Dachparty und es war immer noch erstaunlich, sehr willkommen und besondere, Frühstück am Morgen war einer der besten Kontinente, die ich je gesehen habe, wir werden sicherlich hierher kommen, danke Ihnen allen im Hotel, dass Sie mir und meinem Mann die beste Erfahrung xx

We fell on our feeding this absolute gem. Hidden away in Lecce this beautiful B&B was not easy to find and parking the car in the courtyard was even more challenging. But once found, it was worth the effort. Our large room, with a separate attached en suite, was beautiful decorated as was the whole apartment that forms this classical bed and breakfast. Breakfast was included and they catered for my gluten-free (Celiac) needs. Breakfast included coffee, juice, fruit and much more. We were met by the manager who helped us settle in and showed us around the beautiful apartment. You need to be aware that the owner of the apartment is about but in no way gets in the way. The B&B is centrally located right in the centre of the old city, so it is an easy walk to all the gates, cathedrals and all the other sites worth visiting in Lecce. We stayed two nights and I would highly recommend this accommodation. There is free WiFi, air conditioning (and heating) and a fridge and kettle in the room.

Logement plutôt bien situé (10min à pied du centre historique de Lecce), dans un bâtiment de très bon standing, propre et qui bénéficie d’un petit patio où vous trouverez quelques fauteuils très agréables. Le check-in peut se faire en ligne et l’arrivée au logement est d’un très grande simplicité avec la possibilité d’ouvrir les différentes portes avec son smartphone. Par ailleurs vous recevez via Whatsapp un guide de visite de la ville, un plan, et pas mal d’instructions bien utiles. Moderne et extrêmement bien équipé ce logement s’est avéré parfait avec une grande salle de bain et une douche spacieuse. La literie est plutôt bonne avec un point non négligeable, le noir intégral dans la chambre jusqu’au matin. Néanmoins gros point négatif, la caution n’est restituée que très longtemps après le séjour… J’ai dû attendre plus d’un mois et relancer plusieurs fois, dommage car le reste était parfait.

Lecce ist eine schöne Stadt und dieses Hotel war eine ausgezeichnete Wahl. Ich kann es einfach überhaupt nicht schuldig. Die Lage ist fantastisch, aber was wirklich diesen Ort macht ist die Qualität und Professionalität des Personals. Sie waren alle so freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war erstaunlich und das Restaurant Athens schuf schöne Speisen. Sehr empfohlen.
