This is a tiny boutique hotel with actually relatively large rooms . There is NO parking as you can’t drive into the city centre, so you will have to call ahead and they will send someone to drag your luggage all the way to the hotel . The place has a history as it was a house of an aristocratic Turks during the ottoman ruling . The rooms are modern and extremely comfortable , wide , the service is great . It is very close to everything you need , the city centre, the boats , the market etc… I will definitely recommend this hotel and I will stay here next time we come back to Crete .

We looked for a place in Chania for our last days on holiday and found Theos Village by reading the reviews. The reviews were right! A lovely family always smiling and giving you a warm welcome, when you came for the first time, but also every time you walk by. We were a family of four and had a big room with great facilities and a huge veranda! We used the kitchen every day and loved that we had our own door to go out on the veranda when the kids slept in the living room. A bit too warm to stay the day by the pool, but we layed there after the beach. The swimming poolhas different depths, genius for the kids. Just a 10 minute walk to the beach, we went to Kladissos beach (lovely place woth not so many tourists). Thank you for 3 great days, would highly recommend if you are staying in Chania!

Unfortunately, my stay wasn’t the best as there was zero sound proofing - I could hear everything the upstairs room was doing (which lasted until around 3am). A real shame because otherwise this is a brilliant property, but I barely slept during my stay.

Das Frühstück wird auf das Zimmer gebracht und kann langsam auf der Veranda genossen werden. Das Zimmer war sehr groß, aber es war nicht möglich, ein Zustellbett hinzuzufügen, nie gefragt. Er blieb nur für ein paar Nächte, bevor er sich zu einem anderen Resort in Kreta bewegte. Nur eine einzige Tür von der Straße führt zu wenigen Wohnungen und war in einer solchen guten Lage - 5/10 Minen Fuß vom Haupthafenbereich und mit vielen lokalen Geschäften, Bakeries und Bars machte es für uns schön willkommen zurück nach Kreta. Wir waren eine Familie von vier, mit jungen Kindern - also ist es nicht eins für den Aufenthalt und den Rennen - sondern perfekt für unseren Urlaub. Es gab gutes WLAN, komfortable Betten und ein Duplex- Schlafzimmer für eines der Kinder. Der Balkon war eine gute Größe, perfekt für uns, um sich zu sitzen, aber nur eine Blick auf die Straße (nicht ein Problem für uns). Ich empfehle sehr, ein Wort der Vorsicht, aber - und nicht auf der Buchungsstelle erwähnt - es gibt viele Treppen zu klettern, was für uns ok war, aber es gibt keinen Aufzug, so wenn Sie Probleme haben, Treppen zu klettern oder schwere Taschen aufzunehmen dann vielleicht nicht ideal.

Lage, anderthalb Stunden Fahrt vom Hafen von Kreta, in den Bergen, steiler, Auto mieten. . Da diese Stadt relativ abgelegen ist, sind wir durch die Stadt gelaufen und ich war mit meinem Mann und zwei Asiaten zusammen. Von außen sah das Hotel sehr sauber aus. Nach dem Betreten waren die Einrichtungen alt und es gab elektrische Ventilatoren. Die Schlüssel sind auch sehr persönlich, es gibt keine Toilettenartikel, das Badezimmer ist klein und das Frühstück ist nicht sehr reichhaltig. Wenn man vom rosa Strand eineinhalb Stunden fährt, ist die gerade Linie relativ nah, aber der Berg ist langsamer. Das Hotel liegt auch am Strand, die Meeresbrise ist groß und etwas kalt.

Just back from an amazing week at Ledra Maleme. I cannot put one word of criticism for this brilliant place. It was spotlessly clean, perfectly located just 5 mins from the beach, supermarket and local restaurants, the room was modern and beds comfortable and clean. The pool is the only holiday pool I have ever been in that is at the perfect temperature, no shock getting in, just cool enough to take the heat out. We ate at the hotel a few times and the food was freshly cooked and so tasty. Cretian night was great fun! Mr Costas works so hard to make sure all the guests are looked after. Every aspect of the holiday was perfect, from the taxi transfer, to getting the little train to the waterpark, the bus to chania, the weather if course, and Cretian people are so welcoming and helpful, I simply cannot fault it at all. Perfect!!! Thank you Crete!

Der Besitzer ist ein großer Gastgeber. Er und seine Mutter sind Ihnen die Sklaven. Ein schönes Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick, Sie hatten einen kleinen Kühlschrank. Es gibt verschiedene Restaurants rund um die Gegend, und in einigen für Bewohner in Bikakis Familienwohnungen gibt es ermäßigte Gebühren für ihre Mahlzeiten. Das archäologische Museum in Kissamo ist 300m entfernt und der Hafen ist 5 km entfernt. Bei 50m finden Sie einen Bus und eine Bankstop, während der lokale Markt ist 80m. Die Region ist eine ideale Basis für die Erforschung des Westens von Kreta. Sie können Balo, Falasarna, Gramsa und Elefant besuchen, die nahe gelegene Landschaft ist beeindruckend, mit Bergen, Felsen und Küstendorfen. Ich empfehle es sowohl für seine wirtschaftlichen Preise als auch für seine warme Umgebung und seine große Position im Zentrum der Stadt.

Had a wonderful stay in this lovely boutique hotel! Had the Luxury Suite with Hot Tob for 3 nights. Very centre location in the middle of everything. Our room was on the top floor, above all the fuss. The room was beautiful; very modern, tidy and spacious. There was a small kitchenette with a good sized fridge, that had also a freeze-box inside. The balcony was huge, with sunbathing chairs, couches with roofing, and a great hot tub. We were able to make our own breakfast, and enjoy it in the privacy of our top-floor balcony. After that some sunbathing and cooling off in the tub with cold water - that was amazing in the heat of July. The staff was lovely and so welcoming. The cleaning was amazing and always considerate to your needs - absolutely loved her. When we arrived, our bed was decorated beautifully and there were some refreshments and snacks in the room. Fridge was always stocked with cold water bottles. The place was real luxury for us! If (read: when) I'm back in Chania, this is my place stay! Note: No elevator, so not suitable for someone who need assistance for moving. Still only 3 floors so easy for us to walk with luggage. During night time might be bit noisy from the streets. I used ears-pluggs, my husband didn't need any. So we both slept well. Huge and comfotable bed. Overall highly recommended! ❤️

Die Anlage ist schön und gepflegt. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die Zimmer im hinteren, älteren Bereich sind gut, haben eine komfortable Größe und bequeme Betten, allerdings sind die Bäder (Armaturen, Sanitär usw) ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Zur Nebensaison war es ruhig, allerdings sind die Zimmer hellhörig, und in der Hauptsaison ist es sicherlich recht laut. Die Reinigung war ok, allerdings wurde der Boden zu selten geputzt und war sandig. Die Halbpension ließ keine Wünsche offen, das Essen war abwechslungsreich, frisch und lecker: schön, dass täglich auch viele griechische Spezialitäten angeboten wurden. Die Abendunterhaltung (Live-Musik) in der Bar war dezent, angenehm und von ordentlichem Niveau. Der Strand ist zum Schwimmen ideal, eine Mischung aus grobem Sand und Kies. Man kann ohne Badeschuhe ins Wasser. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Engagement des Hotels bezüglich Nachhaltigkeit, ökologischer und sozialer Verantwortung; der überzeugende Bericht liegt öffentlich in der Lobby aus.

From the very beginning the owner welcomed us with such care. The place itself it’s located perfectly outside the rush of people but yet still so close to the city of Chania (8/10mins by car). The establishment is super nice and well kept surrounded by bamboo and olive trees. The rooms are near each other and most of them are overlooking the pool. Room itself was very very clean and towels,bedsheets,products were smelling really nice. You can see that the place is well maintained and taken very good care of! It’s also PET FRIENDLY with stray cats(which you’ll see either in the morning or at night without even bothering you) another reason why we booked this establishment as we brought our own dog which was well accepted without any additional costs or useless comments. Our holiday is still ongoing as we booked for 5 days but it’s a must to leave a positive comment to such a beautiful place and people. To who ever sees this post don’t think twice and just book it! You’ll see us DEFINITELY again! Thanks for hosting us. I.Z

We stayed in this hotel for four nights approaching mid-May. The hotel has we believe 35 rooms and opened on 15 May 2021. It has six floors and is situated on one of the main routes into Chania. It is sleek, well appointed, with a pool, with a functioning spa and a bar and restaurant. It is supremely modern – and everything works! We flew to Chania and a taxi from the airport should cost €23.00 – check before hiring! There is a bus from the airport but we felt the bus station was too far to walk with luggage. We cannot comment on connections with ferries. The quality of the hotel is evident as soon as your taxi pulls up. Reception has dedicated soft seating and is a large area looking onto a grassed deck around the pool, with loungers and deck-chairs. Beyond reception and on the same floor level there is bar which serves snacks, lunch and dinner, but from a short menu. It does not provide fine dining. There is an outside seating area that is under cover. On the floor below is the breakfast room – it is quite large and again has an outside, under cover seating area. Breakfast is a self-service buffet with cooked food available – the kitchen is open to view. The selection is extensive with both international and Cretan dishes, and whilst for vegetarians a little limited we still felt well served. The hotel is five minutes’ walk from the eastern end of the seafront which is lined with bars and restaurants and the furthest end (the Venetian Port) could be reached within a 20 minute stroll. The lack therefore of an extensive dinner menu is no problem. Our room was modern and slick, generously sized with a larger than normal double bed and good quality linen. There was a sofa and workspace. There was a full room width balcony looking out but not directly on to the seafront. Wi-Fi was OK. The bathroom and WC were separated from the bedroom by an elaborate screen. The wash hand basin was separate from the shower which was a reasonably sized walk-in. The WC was entirely enclosed but relatively odour free. It did, however, have an “interesting” door that we were unwilling to shut for fear of being unable to open and sensor operated lights and fan. All-in-all however – apart from an initial problem with hot water – everything worked. Toiletries were acceptable. There was a safe, a mini-bar with complimentary items and tea/coffee making facilities. We experiences no significant noise from either inside or outside the hotel. Housekeeping was acceptable with linens changed every two days. The aircon/heating was very effective – complicated, but with clear instructions! The room had widescreen television and a streaming service but we used neither. Staff were friendly and helpful, most with a good grasp of English. The hotel appeared equipped to deal with guests with limited mobility. We saw no evidence of the hotel taking groups. Nur erstaunlich! Es gibt so viele Optionen, in Chania zu bleiben, dies ist die Nummer eins von weitem. Die Lage ist gut. Wanderweite zur Stadt. Wir hatten ein Auto, so war es eine kurze 5-minütige Fahrt in. Sie Hotel bietet auch Valet Parkplatz (wenn der Bellboy da ist). Aber Sie können auch selbst parken. Ein wenig weit, aber günstig. Die Zimmer sind einfach fantastisch. Wir hatten einen zwei Stock-Familie-Loft und jeder Komfort, den Sie erwarten, ist da. Sehr schön mit hohen Endbearbeitungen konzipiert. Der Balkon ist ein Geschirr mit den unglaublichsten Aussichten. Die Betten waren zu hart für mich, aber nur für meinen Mann, weil er ein festeres Bett liebte. Der Pool ist ein wunderbares Vermögen. Meine Kinder verwendeten es jeden Tag und es war immer warm und sauber. Nur schön. Das Frühstück ist fantastisch und das Personal macht die Erfahrung wirklich besser (insbesondere Joanna). So freundliche Damen, die dort arbeiten. Insgesamt haben wir unseren Aufenthalt geliebt. Schönes Hotel, saubere, moderne, luxuriöse und freundliche Leute. Würden jeden Penny.

Sehr freundliche und kompetente Rezeption Wunderbarer Zimmerservice (danke nochmals, Olga) Hervorragende Betten, leise Klimaanlage, Zweckmäßige, hübsche Einrichtung, große ebenerdige Dusche. Umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Auch hier aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Fußläufig zum kleinen Örtchen und zu diversen Strandbars. Alles sehr gepflegt und sauber.

This hotel was PERFECT. The aesthetic of the old monetary with modern decor was absolutely stunning. The rooms are clean and spacious (we had a room with a private rooftop and hot tub). The service was excellent, and the included breakfast was a great way to start our day in the courtyard. It was also conveniently located two minutes from the harbor, and in the center of restaurants and bars (this street was very quiet though). I would stay here again NO DOUBT. Just a note for some travelers, the taxi cannot pull up right in front of the hotel, since most streets in the old town are closed to traffic. However, it is just a one minute walk to a main road where you can access a taxi.

Stilvolles Design mit Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre! Kleine Oase zum Entspannen und Genießen. Sehr zu Empfehlen. Das Erste, was einem in diesem wunderschönen kleinen Boutique-Hotel mit rund 36 Zimmern auffällt, ist dieser angenehme und frische Geruch – wunderbar! Das Gebäude ist stilsicher durchdesignt, ohne dass es kühl wirkt. Im Zimmer selbst wird dieses Ambiente weiter fortgeführt und man fühlt sich direkt nach dem Ankommen sehr wohl. Die Klimaanlage hört man nicht und so hat man immer eine angenehme Temperatur im Raum. Das sehr leckere und schmackhafte á la cart-5-Gang-Menue am Abend wird von Menia und Manos stilvoll serviert – am Morgen kümmern sich Irini und Antonia diskret um das leibliche Wohl der Gäste. Neben frisch gepressten Orangensaft werden verschiedene Eierspeisen auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet. Der Hotel-Manager Panos ist die Selle des Hauses. Morgens, zubereitet Er für seine Geste aller Art Kaffee Spezialitäten, Abends die Cocktails, Wein und selbstverständlich nach dem Dinner eine oder andere Gläschen Griechischer schnaps Ziporo. Er hat immer ein offenes Ohr für die Wünsche seiner Hotelgäste und gibt gerne den einen oder anderen Tipp. Alles in allem ein sehr gelungenes Konzept! Wir haben uns mehr als wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

From before we arrived, until our parting good-byes, ANTEL Suites and staff were absolutely perfect. In particular, owner Xanthi is the loving Greek mother everyone should have- assisting with reservations, parking, and concerns about wheelchair access to make everything about our stay enjoyable. We were greeted by the most charming desk team every time we ”returned home” and discovered special treats like cakes, nuts, and liqueurs in our suite. The suite itself was modern, efficient, spotless, and compliant with the most stringent of American accessibility requirements - but in beautiful Chania, Greece! Door widths, barrier-free entrances, a roll in European shower, toilet, adaptive equipment and hand bars were exceptional and like no other in our many travels. If you travel using a wheelchair, ANTEL suites is a dream come true. In addition, the suite had an excellent apartment style kitchen for cooking (though we didn't - who can compete with the chefs of Chania?) The bed and bedding were of superior quality and comfort. ANTEL is very conveniently located across from the central bus terminal for touring, getting to beaches, and in the center city if getting around on foot / wheels for meals and shopping. Finally, ANTEL was an exceptional value all around. My only sadness is that we had to leave - we will definitely return someday and cannot recommend this accessible find more strongly to all. We had a wonderful stay at the Malmo for 6 or seven nights. It is in the historic district and is a new, modern small hotel. Virginia was extremely helpful and the hotel itself was very responsive to inquiries before and during our stay helping us with airport transfers and restaurant suggestions. In season I highly recommend making restaurant reservations since Chania is a very busy town. If renting a car, make sure to arrange for a parking garage ahead of time since you cannot park in the historic district. The only comment I would make about the room (Madonna) we had while it was I think the largest it was directly below the breakfast area and wine bar and the chairs above us either woke us up or kept us awake while moving around above us. So perhaps consider a different room. Also, the pillows were the hardest I have slept on in a long time. Other than that the breakfast was wonderful and the staff very helpful!

Ich kam hier mit meinem Freund für eine Woche im Juni und hatte eine so wunderbare Zeit. Die Zimmer und Einrichtungen waren sauber, alle Mitarbeiter waren unglaublich freundlich und untergebracht. Das Frühstück war wirklich nett und der Barservice zum Pool war ein großer Bonus. Mein Freund und ich sind nur 18 und 19 Jahre alt und waren wahrscheinlich das jüngste Paar dort, aber wir fühlten uns nicht aus dem Ort und es gab noch viel zu tun in der Stadt Chania. der Hafen ist unglaublich lebendig und spannend - wir haben hier die meisten unserer Nächte verbracht. Auch sparte man Geld aufgrund des kostenlosen Shuttles nach und vom Hotel, das bis 12 Uhr lief - wir mussten nur einmal für einen Taxi bezahlen, wenn wir eine spät hatten. würde dieses Hotel voll empfehlen. Das Restaurant war auch lecker in der Nacht und die Ansichten/ Sonnenuntergang war unglaublich. Danke für den ersten Urlaub zusammen so besondere!!

Lovely hotel, run by the owner & family , lovely & welcoming people. I had a great room with a balcony overlooking the harbour bridge, the location just off the village square was perfect for me as a solo traveler. My double room was equipped with a fridge & coffee making equipment, nice bathroom & room price included a safe & air conditioning. Breakfast was included in the price so made it a great value stay & I thoroughly recommend , am planning another visit very soon ! The Family also own & run a fabulous Taverna Nostos which is right next door, amazing Greek & Traditional Cretan dishes cooked my the Mother of the family, thoroughly recommend eating there too , not only is the food fantastic but the setting is lovely.

Ich habe bei Elia Potie in Chania gebucht und am Tag vor dem Anruf um einen Shuttle vom Flughafen zum Hotel gebeten (das Hotel bot diesen Service an). Ich habe den Fahrer um ein POS gebeten, so dass ich mit einer Kreditkarte bezahlen werde. Ein Fahrer kam am Flughafen, er war nett, aber hatte keine POS, weil niemand vom Hotel ihn darüber informiert. So musste ich mit ihm um die Stadt zu einem Taxiplatz gehen, wo sein Partner POS zu zahlen hatte. Im Hotel und während meiner check-in wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass mein Frühstück nicht im Hotel serviert wird, sondern in einem anderen Hotel 300 m entfernt. Ich beschwerte mich, weil dies nicht in der Beschreibung des Zimmers/Hotels geschrieben wurde. Dann musste ich mit meiner Tasche zum Hotel gehen, das ich reservierte (die Eincheckung war im Hotel, wo das Frühstück serviert wurde). Als ich ankam, fand ich heraus, dass es keinen Aufzug gibt und ich musste meine Gepäckaufzüge hoch tragen, was nicht möglich war, weil ich vor ein paar Monaten meine Hand gebrochen habe (siehe Bilder). Ich habe die Rezeption des Hotels angerufen und sie sagten mir, dass sie keinen Groomservice anbieten. Ich ging ins Zimmer und verließ die Koffer unten. Ich habe die Rezeption informiert, dass sie entweder so anzulegen, dass die Tasche in mein Zimmer gebracht wird oder mir eine kostenlose Stornierung anbieten. Außerdem hatte das Zimmer einen schlechten Geruch ...I weiß nicht, ob es Feuchtigkeit oder der Geruch aus dem Badezimmer ... Ich habe auch eine Zimmerwechsel nachher gefragt. Der Manager hat sich durch den Empfangsmitglied geweigert, mir eine kostenlose Stornierung anzubieten oder mein Zimmer zu ändern. Das einzige, was die Rezeption getan hat, war, eine Person zu schicken, um meine Tasche nach zwei Stunden in mein Zimmer zu tragen. Darüber hinaus ist das Zimmer über einer Bar und es gibt Musik spielen bis eine Uhr. Schreckliche Erfahrung, ich empfehle diese Hotelkette nicht an jemanden. Das Management ist UNPROFESSIONAL und bietet NICHT CUENT SERVICE! Natürlich habe ich ihn sofort informiert Hotels.com und sie wollten den Manager finden, aber er/sie versteckte sich!

Tolles, relativ neues Stadthotel mit äußerst nettem und kompetentem Personal, schönen und modernen Zimmern und einer sehr guten Lage im traumhaften Chania. Wir haben das Hotel mit 7 ÜF in Kombination mit einem einwöchigen HP-Aufenthalt im CORISSIA HARMONY in Georgioupolis gebucht. Flughafentransfer und Wechsel zwischen den Hotels inklusive. Sehr gute Wahl. Zuerst das bunte und umtriebige Chania mit zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten und dann der erholsame und ruhigere Strandurlaub im ehemaligen Fischerdorf mit dem schönen langen Sandstrand. Das können wir genau so bestens empfehlen!

Even though it is not ”perfect”, I absolutely loved this hotel! It is a small boutique hotel ideally situated on Chania's old harbour. Rooms are full of charm and of good size, you are in the middle of the action, and views are fabulous. The nature of the hotel comes with its own challenges, and perhaps this is what I should start with: - if you travel with large luggage, beware that the hotel has no lift and stairs are quite steep, so if so, you may prefer to ask for a room on the 1st floor. Some rooms also have internal mezzanines. - Wifi is really hit and miss - As other reviewers mentioned, it can be hard to get hot water and the system is fragile so that one morning there was none at all and they had to call a technician to fix it - The area is pedestrian - about 10 minutes (leisurely) walk to the bus station and the nearest road so best for people who like walking. Having said that, none of this bothered me personally. I loved my room and its decor, I found the bed really comfortable (though pillows were really hard), I loved the location, and the staff were lovely. There is a roof terrace with a view to the harbour, a mini fridge in the room if you like to keep some food, and everything was clean and fresh. I'll definitely be back!

Schön freundlich kleines Hotel mit erstaunlichem Personal. Große Zimmer und Badezimmer - unser war ein zweibett mit massivem Balkon (kosten ca. 5 £ / Woche mehr als ein Bett!) Die Kraftdusche war erstaunlich - Wasser von 5 verschiedenen Punkten! und Wasserdruck und Temperatur perfekt. Sehr schöner Pool und Garten, obwohl es ein wenig cool war, als wir besucht wurden. Sehr schöne Aufzug auf die oberen Stockwerke - mit Glasseite so dass nicht klaustrophobic wie die meisten kleinen Aufzüge. Frühstück sehr gut für ein solches kleines Hotel (nur ca. 5 Zimmer in Betrieb, als wir geblieben waren) mit einer großen Auswahl an Weidereien und kontinentalen Dingen, die ich normalerweise nicht essen, aber diese Zeit eine große Ausnahme gemacht. Das Hotel ist nur 200 m vom Strand und den Busstrecken entfernt. Einige anständige Restaurants in der Gegend oder gehen Sie nach Chania (ca. 1.15 Stunden) oder einen Bus. Hotel neu und ohne Platzreinigung, angemessen WiFi und andere Einrichtungen einschließlich fantastische Kaffeemaschine (aber hätte eine Kettle bevorzugt) würde definitiv empfehlen und würde sicher zurückkehren, wenn ich wieder Chania besuche.
