Suite toll ausgestattet und sehr sauber, Parkgarage mit Parkservice gegen (geringe) Gebühr, Speisen- und Getränkeauswahl (inklusive kompetenter und charmanter Weinberatung) erstklassig in Geschmack und Vielfalt. Wir verbrachten als Freundesrunde ein paar Urlaubstage im Hotel Royal in Opatija. Die Anlage ist schön, sehr neu und gepflegt und eröffnet eine wunderbare Aussicht auf Rijeka und das Meer. Die Zimmer sind schön, sehr sauber und stilvoll und modern eingerichtet. Wenn man bereit ist, ein bisschen mehr zu bezahlen, lohnt es sich, Zimmer mit (seitlichem) Meerblick zu buchen. Der Hotelstrand und Meerzugang ist wunderschön, die Liegen unbedingt im Vorfeld reservieren. Diese sind sehr schnell vergriffen. Aber es gibt nebenan gleich einen öffentlichen Strand, an dem es leichter ist, einen Platz zu bekommen. Wir hatten nur Frühstück gebucht, dies wurde in Buffetform abgehalten. Es war in Ordnung, aber das Angebot nicht überbordend. Wir erfuhren erst am zweiten Tag, dass es auch möglich war, Eiergerichte (Pfannkuchen, Omelette, Spiegelei…etc.) zu bestellen und frisch zubereiten zu lassen, ein Hinweis diesbezüglich wäre dienlich gewesen. Leider war das Personal heillos überfordert, Tische wurden nicht abgeräumt und leere Platten und Krüge…etc. erst nach mehrmaliger Aufforderung abserviert, bzw. erneut befüllt. Am Eingang zum Restaurant stand ein Desinfektionsspender bereit, der aber von den Gästen kaum benutzt wurde, auch Einweghandschuhe standen nicht zur Verfügung. Brot, Gebäck…etc. wurde nicht mit Serviette angegriffen, sondern teilweise mit bloßen Händen. Ein Verhalten, welches in Zeiten einer Pandemie nicht für gut befunden werden kann. Auch das Servicepersonal trug kaum oder nur schlecht sitzende Masken, sowohl beim Frühstück als auch in der Strandbar. Zusammengefasst ist die Anlage wunderschön und gepflegt und für Badeurlaub gut geeignet, hat aber Aufholbedarf im gastronomischen Angebot, im Service und bei den Corona-Maßnahmen.

Ambiente im Hotel ist angenehm, Zimmer waren sauber, hatten einen TV und gemütliche Betten, dennoch hing uns das Essen nach 4 Tagen aus dem Hals und sind dementsprechend nicht mehr hingegangen, der Barkeeper konnte nicht mixen (Mojito, keine Empfehlung), Trinken kostet extra beim Abendessen.. dennoch Massage & Masseurin ein absolutes muss, total angenehm!

Wer grosse Hotels nicht besonders schätzt und zudem lieber moderne Zimmer den alten traditionellen in den umliegenden Palästen vorzieht, ist hier im Bevanda optimal bedient. Alle Mitarbeiter am Check-in usw. sind extrem ums wohl der Gäste bemüht und immer sehr hilfsbereit. Zimmer sind extrem gross und zudem sehr schön durchgestylt. Die Lage ist perfekt und könnte nicht besser sein: alle guten Restaurants in der Nähe und zudem auch ein sehr gutes im Hause. Falls man sein eigenes Auto nehmen muss, dann versucht man sofort den Parkplatz reserviert zu blockieren. So hat man immer seinen eigenen P. Man ist im Zentrum von Opatija und hört vom Trubel absolut nichts. schwimmen kann man direkt im Meer vor dem Haus noch bevor die Invasion/Party der champagner-trinkenden Juppies/Jet-setters im Lido Beach (liegt gerade um die Ecke vom Bevanda) losgeht. Dort zu liegen ist wohl nicht jedermanns Sache und kann vermieden werden.

Wir haben uns auf der Geschäftsreise von 2 Nächten für ein 5 Sterne Hotel entschieden. Statt 2 getrennten Betten bekamen wir ein Doppelbett. Wir haben eine Baustelle im Hotel vorgefunden, uns wurde vom Personal aber Ruhe versprochen. Ab 08:00 Uhr morgens bis Nachmittag wurde dann lautstark Beton gebohrt. Schlafen war leider nicht möglich. Beim Anruf an der Rezeption sagte man uns, die Arbeiten sind jetzt fertig, gingen aber Stunden weiter. Es war grauenhaft. Wir haben auch Videos vom Baulärm aufgenommen, es sind leider nur Bilder hier möglich zu teilen. Abends wurde uns mitgeteilt, wir können mit dem Manager eine Lösung finden über die Rechnung eines Abendessens von 322€, was für uns akzeptabel gewesen wäre aufgrund der Umstände und Abreise am nächsten Morgen. Beim Checkout war dies nicht möglich, stattdessen wurde ein Voucher mit zunächst 6 Monaten Gültigkeit angeboten. Da dieses Hotel keine weiteren Niederlassungen hat, wir Ameisen im Bad fanden und nicht wieder an diesen Ort kommen, ist ein Voucher keine Option für uns. Wir fordern eine akzeptable Lösung, keine Empfehlung für diese Hotel. We opted for a 5 star hotel on our 2 night business trip. Instead of 2 separate beds we got a double bed. We found a building site in the hotel, but we were promised peace and quiet by the staff. From 08:00 in the morning until the afternoon, concrete was being drilled loudly. It was impossible to sleep. When we called reception we were told that the work was now finished, but continued for hours. It was horrible. We also recorded videos of the construction noise, unfortunately only pictures are possible to share here. In the evening we were told that we could find a solution with the manager about the bill for a dinner of €322, which would have been acceptable to us due to the circumstances and departure the next morning. At checkout this was not possible, instead we were offered a voucher with an initial validity of 6 months. As this hotel has no other branches, we found ants in the bathroom and will not be returning to this location, a voucher is not an option for us. We demand an acceptable solution, no recommendation for this hotel.

We recently stayed at Hotel Istra Opatija for a fallbreak getaway, and we couldn't have been more pleased. The breakfast buffet was abundant and offered a wide variety of options. The bar also served excellent cocktails and delicious meals. Our room was spacious, and the facilities were in line with the money we spent. However, what truly stood out for us was the range of sports activities included in the hotel's services. This was the primary reason for choosing this hotel, and it didn't disappoint. We had the pleasure of meeting the trainer, Ana, who was brimming with energy and positive vibes. She tailored the activities perfectly to our fitness levels and needs. Usually, we don't spend much time in the hotel while on vacation, but this time it was almost impossible to leave because we were so well-entertained on the premises. Even the less-than-ideal weather didn't bother us, as the hotel had so much to offer. In summary, if you plan to visit Opatija, you absolutely must stay at Hotel Istra.

We stayed here for two nights as part of a tour, as others have identified is popuoar with your groups because of its value for money, breakfast at 8am is certainly a challenge. We were on floor 2 which didn't have a great view, and the air conditioning want functioning (and it was low 20s C so shouldn't have been a challenge). Other guests reported similar, c and we had to resort to opening doors/windows which brought a lot of noise into the rooms overnight. More worrying the fire plan on the back of the door in the room was of an entirely different hotel (the posher one across the road)

Ich bin ein solo Reisende in meinen 70,s .Ich wurde ein Einzelzimmer, das eine Box war, gegeben! Ich bin kein großer Mensch, aber der Loo und die Dusche waren so klein, dass Sie durch die Tür zu schütteln, um Ihre Rücken gegen die Wand zu schlagen.Dann mussten Sie die Tür durch den Loo steigen über den Loo, um in die Dusche zu kommen! , dann schließen Sie die Tür aus der Dusche, nachdem die Dusche kam die Nerven-Racking-Rückkehr auf einem feuchten Fliesenboden!! wie Sie vermuten, es war sehr schlimmer. Ich ging zum Manager und erklären die Gefahr des nassen Bodens , und wenn ich fallen und mich verletzt würde ich mich verurteilen. Nach einer Menge Diskussion wollte sie mich entschlossen, mich in ein anderes Zimmer mit einer größeren Dusche zu bewegen. Sprechen mit dem Empfänger am nächsten Tag sagte er dass sie Beschwerden vor Room 524 Bewachen Next hatten . Wenn Sie eine Sonnelounge wollen, müssen Sie 12 Euro pro Tag zahlen!! Ich erläuterte, dass ich im Hotel war, Sie müssen noch zahlen, ich wurde gesagt.Nur ein Hinweis, wenn Sie ein Paar sind, das zwei Sonnenlounge plus eine Umbrelle pro Tag braucht es Ihnen 30 Euro extra pro Tag, dass £25.80 EXTRA A DAY!!!! .Ein Reißen vorbeugen Essen im Hotel OK Essen Sie nicht auf der Außenveranda, wie Sie mit den Pigeons, die Ihr Frühstück mit Ihnen versuchen und essen mit Ihnen PS hinzufügen £ 2.80 eine Tages-Stadtsteuer

Very nice two nights stay in this hotel. My love and I choose this hotel in Opatija, because it seems very nice and price for two nights stay whit breakfast was affordable for us. We had some event in Rijeka, and, like I wrote, because we never stayed in Opatija and Opatija is near Rijeka, we choose this hotel. Part of hotel is restaurant and ******, so if you want to double or loose some of your money you can, hehe. Room was very clean. Bathroom was clean too. The breakfast was excellent. You can choose to eat a fairly large selection of dishes, including some local dishes from the Primorje-Gorski Kotar region and the Kvarner region. And for the first time, we were able to take pancakes, which was not offered in all our travels and the hotels we stayed in so far. So we were very satisfied with the breakfast. Everything was fine. The first evening we had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The offer was not large, understandably considering that it is not the season, but the sea bream fillets we ate were delicious. The service was relatively slow, but I won't take that into account, since we had a really good time at this hotel. All in all, a good and nice hotel, with a nice view of the park across the street and, if you are on a higher floor, of the sea. Thumbs up from me. ​

Wir verbrachten als Freundesrunde ein paar Urlaubstage im Hotel Royal in Opatija. Die Anlage ist schön, sehr neu und gepflegt und eröffnet eine wunderbare Aussicht auf Rijeka und das Meer. Die Zimmer sind schön, sehr sauber und stilvoll und modern eingerichtet. Wenn man bereit ist, ein bisschen mehr zu bezahlen, lohnt es sich, Zimmer mit (seitlichem) Meerblick zu buchen. Der Hotelstrand und Meerzugang ist wunderschön, die Liegen unbedingt im Vorfeld reservieren. Diese sind sehr schnell vergriffen. Aber es gibt nebenan gleich einen öffentlichen Strand, an dem es leichter ist, einen Platz zu bekommen. Wir hatten nur Frühstück gebucht, dies wurde in Buffetform abgehalten. Es war in Ordnung, aber das Angebot nicht überbordend. Wir erfuhren erst am zweiten Tag, dass es auch möglich war, Eiergerichte (Pfannkuchen, Omelette, Spiegelei…etc.) zu bestellen und frisch zubereiten zu lassen, ein Hinweis diesbezüglich wäre dienlich gewesen. Leider war das Personal heillos überfordert, Tische wurden nicht abgeräumt und leere Platten und Krüge…etc. erst nach mehrmaliger Aufforderung abserviert, bzw. erneut befüllt. Am Eingang zum Restaurant stand ein Desinfektionsspender bereit, der aber von den Gästen kaum benutzt wurde, auch Einweghandschuhe standen nicht zur Verfügung. Brot, Gebäck…etc. wurde nicht mit Serviette angegriffen, sondern teilweise mit bloßen Händen. Ein Verhalten, welches in Zeiten einer Pandemie nicht für gut befunden werden kann. Auch das Servicepersonal trug kaum oder nur schlecht sitzende Masken, sowohl beim Frühstück als auch in der Strandbar. Zusammengefasst ist die Anlage wunderschön und gepflegt und für Badeurlaub gut geeignet, hat aber Aufholbedarf im gastronomischen Angebot, im Service und bei den Corona-Maßnahmen.
