Bella l’idea del check-in in autonomia, non ti vincola con l’orario di arrivo. La struttura è meravigliosa, la camera era perfetta con l’idromassaggio che l’arricchiva ancora di più. Massima pulizia e attenzione al dettaglio. Ben riscaldata. Ampia, luminosa. Con un prezzo adeguato all’ offerta. Il personale gentilissimo, la donna delle pulizie con il passo felpato di un gatto aveva già iniziato a pulire le stanze e non ci siamo resi conto di niente ( altre volte siamo stati svegliati in malo modo da rumori molesti di mobili e letto spostati). La colazione al bar accanto buona e con personale allegro e disponibile. TORNEREMO PRESTO

|1.92km vom StadtzentrumI’d stayed in the Rina apartments, next door to the hotel, almost 14 years ago now and knew just how handy the hotel was for the beaches and it’s proximity to the old down too - a pleasant seaside walk in the evening or a short scooter ride if like me you hired a lil Piaggo. Actually with that in mind, you can make good use of the hotel’s underground parking facility as not extra charge, but i digress. You’ll see some reviews moaning about expectations of a 4 star hotel, but do keep in mind Alghero isn’t Dubai so it’s never going to be razzle dazzle. You can expect however, a very warm welcome, especially convivial staff, spotless rooms cleaned daily with a full suits of new towels, a good international mix of guests, quiet by night, and a good choice at breakfast time too if you’re not sleeping off the last nights booze and miss it. Breakfast stops at 10am. I don’t do full board. There is way to much excellent food to be had around town to be tied to one place - be sure to try Refetorrio and their sister pizza restaurant, Bella Napoli on Piazza Civica and Regina Margarita at least once. The hotel is perfectly situated next to well stocked super market, there paddle tennis opposite and a host of beach clubs, bars and restaurants on your door step. If a hire car or scooter is not your thing there’s a great bus service to beaches further afield, mugoni beach is lovely with good grill/fast food and more formal dining (you can still rock up in beach wear) options too. The hotel can also call a cab but get a price first €20 to the airport seemed expensive. So, helpful, pleasant, cheery staff with great english. Clean, airy rooms. Handy for everything. Nice end of corridor balcony with good views for this without a balcony of their own to sit and enjoy a cool ale. I’d book again. A dopo, DSM

Il posto è davvero bellissimo, rilassante e immerso nella natura!!! Troverete tutto pulito e in perfetto ordine, e le colazioni buone e abbondanti!!! Antonio è stato gentilissimo sia ad accoglierci che a consigliarci mete e posti da visitare, inoltre sia la signora che prepara le colazioni al mattino che la ragazza che riordina le stanze sono state davvero carinissime con noi e super disponibili!!! Vi consigliamo questo posto non solo per la sua bellezza ma sopratutto perché vi sentirete a casa !!! Grazie davvero !!

|1.53km vom StadtzentrumWe stayed for 8 days. The hotel was very clean through out. The staff were very friendly especially the Breakfast staff who were always smiling. The breakfast was fabulous. Fresh fruit was on hand everyday to make your own fruit drinks. The omelettes and fried eggs cooked fresh in front of you. Great variety of cheeses, breads and cakes. They provided gluten free items also. The bedrooms were very clean and bright and the bathroom had a fab spacious shower. Kettle, tea and coffee were provided in the room. The hotel is setback from the roadside and this means no traffic noise. The beach is across the road where there are beach bars, beds and umbrellas. There is a lovely clean safe promenade from the beach side all the way to old town which is about a 15 mins walk. Short walk to train station. Good supermarket 5 minutes away. There is a roof top swimming pool in the hotel which has beds and umbrellas, the water in the pool is very clean but cold. The bar facilities appears not to be used very often due to its small size. This was the one area that let this lovely quiet hotel down. We went to the old town most nights. We were very happy with our stay in this hotel and would recommend it to others.

|0.84km vom StadtzentrumWie viele Gebäude in Italien sieht das Hotel von weitem imposant aus. Aus der Nähe aber sieht es ganz anders aus. Die Fassade bröckelt, alles macht einen veralteten Eindruck. Die Lage und die Aussicht sind top, das ist es aber auch schon. Wir waren mit einer Gruppe angemeldet zum Apéro und Nachtessen. Den Apéro wünschten wir auf der Terrasse. Als wir kamen war nichts bereit. Holzstühle und -tische ohne Kissen und Tischdecken, keine Kerzen oder Blumen auf den Tischen.. Wir mussten dann fragen, ob es mit der Anmeldung geklappt hat, was die Dame bejahte. Wir bekamen dann schliesslich unseren Wein und etwas zum Knabbern dazu. Beim Nachtessen (nur drinnen möglich) ging es ähnlich schräg weiter. Die KellnerInnen hatten keine Ahnung vom Wein (wir reden hier von einem 5* Haus...). Das Essen war okay, aber zu teuer. Es herrschte eine morbide Stimmung, da lediglich drei Tische besetzt waren. Alles in allem mehr Schein als Sein. Obwohl das Hotel zumindest innen noch recht schön aussieht, hat es sicherlich seine besten Zeiten hinter sich.

The hotel is strategically situated, being at a 10-minute walk away from the two main beaches of Alghero: Spiaggia di Lido and Maria Pia (a very beautiful, pristine and white-sanded beach). It is relatively close to some supermarkets.

Personal superfreundlich, Restaurant hat tolles Essen und wird regelmäßig von den Kommunen besucht. Lage ist perfekt, nur nördlich von Alghero, und neben dem Flughafen (aber kein Lärm). Dies wird eine wiederkehrende Buchung weiter gehen. Auch genossen die Wildnis, Alpen schwimmen in zu trinken aus dem Pool, große Butterflies.

|0.6km vom StadtzentrumChose the rooms (it is not a guest house) based on location. Overall the place was clean and functional but there are some problems. Firstly it is impossible to drive to the property and drop off luggage. You need to find a paid parking place and walk with your luggage. This could mean walking up to 1 mile depending on parking location. Secondly we booked a room with private bathroom, but on arrival discovered that it was across a corridor and required unlocking doors. Thirdly the owner is so concerned about the a/c being left on that he has added a key. As the keys are all on one ring, you cannot be in the bathroom with the door locked without switching off the a/c and locking bedroom door. A completely unsatisfactory solution. Fourthly, the property seems to lack any fire prevention or detectors. This is really more a collection of rooms in an apar**ent rather than a guest house (as described). Bottom line is the location is great once you are in the property but the negatives were never shared in advance. Nor did the owner seem to care.

|1.15km vom StadtzentrumA lovely little hotel on the quieter side of Alghero. About 8 minutes’ walk to a small sandy bay, no facilities though and about another 30 minutes to the main beach. Make sure you walk far enough so you don’t smell the rotting sea****, which is a shame because it is a fantastic wide white sandy beach. The hotel room was spacious but minimal and the balcony was lovely and big. Breakfast was the same every day, but everything was fresh. Lovely staff throughout, the waitresses were always on hand if you needed anymore coffee and the reception staff were very helpful if we needed more pillows or coat hangers. We were asked throughout our stay if everything was ok, which it was until we came to check out. We had heard that there wasn’t any where to leave our suitcases, but this wasn’t the case, has we were told we could leave them behind reception, which was fine by us. As we had a late flight, we did ask if we could sit on the roof top terrace but were polity told, that has we were no longer residents we were not allowed up there anymore. We have travelled around Europe and never encountered this policy before, so decided to walk to the beach with beds as we knew there wasn’t anywhere to shower if we were sandy when we came back. On our return we were told we could change in the toilets in the TV room, but when we asked to buy a coffee while we were waiting for our taxi, this was also refused us because we were no longer residents!!! There are no close bars or cafes round this hotel. All I can say is, this did spoil our holiday and our experience of this hotel. If you have a late flight, perhaps this hotel is not the right place for you.

The staff are so wonderful always smiling and helpful Adriana In the Cala Bistrot is the most helpful beautiful person looking after us so well. The reception staff are so helpful and kind the staff at breakfast are incredible so so hardworking. The breakfast is located downstairs in a beautiful light banquet room, the choice is incredible from a barista making fresh coffee to someone cooking made to order eggs to the juicing machine to make your own fresh juice the choice is amazing and varied with something for everyone. The pool is meticulously clean and tended to and has lots of very comfortable loungers. There is a gorgeous private beach also which is stunning and large beach towels are provided for €3 if needed. The rooms are perfect very clean beautiful balcony’s with comfy chairs and the bathroom is very well equipped with hairdryer and toiletries provided. So far 10/10 for this wonderful hotel. The walk to the old town is 15 minutes down hill with panoramic views so so beautiful and a complementary shuttle bus is provided if you don’t fancy walking up or down! We are on honeymoon and enjoying every second.

Perfekte Lage: - ideal für einen Spaziergang nach einem Tag am Strand, nur wenige Schritte vom historischen Zentrum von Alghero und der Küste entfernt; - sehr praktisch aufgrund der Nähe der städtischen und außerstädtischen Bushaltestelle zum Flughafen und zu den Stränden (Endstation vor der Villa). Dadurch wird das Risiko vermieden, nicht in die Busse einsteigen zu können, die normalerweise überfüllt ankommen nächste Haltestellen!; - Coop-Supermarkt in unmittelbarer Nähe, außerdem Obst- und Gemüseläden, diverses Zubehör und in der Via XX Settembre die beste Konditorei in Alghero, Pasticceria Tarragona, wo man ein himmlisches Frühstück genießen kann! Die Eigentümer Claudia und Franco sind seriös, freundlich, immer bereit, Anrufe zu beantworten und jederzeit für Wegbeschreibungen sowie eine Matte/einen Sonnenschirm für das Meer zur Verfügung zu stehen. Empfohlen!

Purtroppo questa struttura esige il check out entro le ore 10, 00 e non da nessuna possibilità di depositare le valigie , capirete che se uno ha il volo alle 15,40 dello stesso giorno non ha alternative se non trascorrere 5 ore accompagnandosi alla valigia o andare all'aeroporto e trascorrere le ore che trascorrono prima della partenza, mi è stato risposto successivamente in repplica alla mia precedente recensione che esiste a pagamento un LUGGAGE ROOM , che non mi è stato menzionato al momento del chek-in. Colpa mia che, al momento della prenotazione mi è sfuggito il particolare di questo regolamento del chek-out alle 10,00 del tutto raro a trovarsi, pensavo a quello canonico di tutti gli Hotels e di altri B&B delle ore 11/12,00. Ebbene siamo stati redarguiti in modo molto maleducato da un a persona che non si è nemmeno presentata , ma abbiamo intuito poteva essere il proprietario, che ,al mio tentato di giustificare il fatto di avere lasciato la valigia pronta in camera sino alle 12,00 per non aver inavvertitamente letto questo regolamento, si è voltato e senza salutare (ribadisco) se ne andato senza replicare . Tengo a precisare in replica che al nostro ritorno ore 12,00 la camra era stata fatta dal personale che si occupa del ripristino delle camere,senza creare alcun grave disagio come citato dal proprietario nella sua repplica, si precisa che in questa struttura il chek-in si fà alle 15,00, quindi non cerano alla porta alcun altro ospite in attesa (di cosa stà parlando)Altra cosa falsamente evidenziato dal proprietario che ci ha tacciato di aver fumato in camera , cosa falsa e menzioniera poichè questo è avvenuto sul balcone della camera all'aperto con tutti i riguardi del caso tenendo ben chiusa la porta della camera che dà sul balcone. Faccio ancora notare in replica ... che ci ha girato le spalle Davvero da ”CAFONE” ... ci voleva poco ad essere gentile esponendo le stesse cose. Io non mi permetterei mai , di scrivere falsità in una recensione non ho motivi , probabilmente il proprietario è anche permaloso e menzoniero per usare un eufemismo, capisco che per difendersi lei si arrampica sui vetri , ma dire falsità sul comportamento degli ospiti mi sembra veramente di bassa professionalità per non dire altro. Sia una certezza e non solo una promessa per il proprietario che non ci torneremo più in questa struttura.

What made us really happy was that Daniela from the restaurant, the reception staff, and even the cleanup lady remembered us. (The cleanup lady even remembered which floor we stayed on last year!) Once again, we had a wonderful summer vacation here. To start, at reception, we were upgraded from a garden view room to a sea view room. The view was absolutely stunning! The restaurant staff were very kind, and we were glad we chose the half-board option. We also enjoyed using the pool bar. Although we saw a few negative reviews, after seeing how hard the staff work in such hot and busy conditions, I can’t bring myself to say anything negative. Thank you again for another fantastic summer. We truly had a great time!

Die Möbel lassen viel als Datum und ein unerfreulicher Geruch in dem Zimmer wünschen. Am zweiten Tag hatten wir den Reinigungsdienst in den Zimmern und das Badschuh wurde nicht ersetzt. Ich hatte viel mehr erwartet, was wir bezahlt haben, da nicht einmal das Frühstück in den Preis einbezogen wurde.

|0.58km vom StadtzentrumL'Hotel nel complesso non ha i servizi per il numero di stelle dichiarato: non ha il servizio ristorante, non ha la piscina, non ha la palestra, non ha i parcheggi, c'è il televisore ma nessun abbonamento o contenuto (abbastanza inutile), ha l'aria condizionata ma la controllano loro con un sistema centralizzato e automatico secondo le temperature che stabiliscono (per me troppo fredda) e ho dovuto soffrire il caldo perché anziché farmi regolare il condizionatore me l'hanno staccato per tutta la permanenza. Ha il servizio portineria ma di notte il proprietario ti fa pesare se lo disturbi. La struttura è fatiscente; il bagno perdeva dalla doccia, il lavello era tappato, dal gabinetto usciva un odore di fogna e l'acqua calda a volte non c'era. La camera matrimoniale è piccola e l'illuminazione sgradevole. Il telefono in camera non prende e il Wifi è debole. Per tutta la mia lunga permanenza il proprietario è stato sempre scortese. La colazione è cara e con prodotti molto scadenti, poca scelta e poca quantità. Ogni volta che è mancato qualcosa, ad esempio è capitato che dopo le pulizie mancassero gli asciugamani sostitutivi e rimanevo senza, la risposta quando chiamavo dal telefono interno era ”scendi a prenderli”. Di buono ha esclusivamente la posizione che è abbastanza centrale e vicino al lungomare. Esperienza che non ripeterei se non obbligata.

|1.45km vom StadtzentrumWe were impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and the very helpful and friendly staff. This hotel is right on the seafront opposite a lovely beach of white sand. It takes 20 minutes to walk to the old town along a lovely wide promenade. The hotel rooms have basic furniture, air conditioning, quite firm beds, fridge, safe and TV. We were on the 4th floor with lovely views of the sea from the balcony. The bathroom had a shower, toilet. Sink and bidet. Also a hairdryer and a bottle of shower shampoo and a small bar of soap. Breakfast was the usual offering of eggs, bacon, cheese, ham, cereal, fruit, yogurt etc and a selection of cakes. There are two machines for hot drinks but the staff will make fresh hot drinks if asked. There is a nice swimming pool, not heated. The restaurant is also open to the public for lunch and evening meals. We enjoyed our stay.

After one bad night due to the mattress I put a blanket down on the bed and the next day the housekeeper had put a mattress topper on the bed for us. It is located near bus stop into Alghero and the beach bus to beaches up the coast. All the staff were really friendly and most of them spoke english. My husband has coeliac disease, each morning at breakfast he was given a basket with gluten free cereal, bread, biscuits and offered croissants which were heated in the oven. At dinner the staff showed him what he could have and then gave him the option of having fresh gluten free pasta cooked so he could have the pasta dish. They also cooked meat separately if the sauce wasn't gluten free. We want to say a special thank you to Roberta and all the staff in the restaurant and kitchen for looking after him so well. We really appreciated the time Roberta spent with him each evening and translating to the other staff. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel and returning if we can.

Die Zimmer sind ok und funktionell, aber einige Probleme veranlassen mich, andere Aufenthalte zu empfehlen. Wichtigstens ist die Einstellung des Restaurantpersonals nah. Sie würden mich nicht in wenigen Minuten vor der Öffnung lassen, als ich nur die Sonnenaufsicht von der Terrasse des Restaurants sehen wollte. Dann waren sie besorgt, dass meine Schwester nach dem Tee in der Gesetze einen Kaffee beantragt. Die meisten enttäuschend, würden sie nicht eine einfache Omelette für meine Tochter, die Crohn ist, und vermeiden Öl und Butter. Der Server sagte, wir sollten Eier geschrotet oder ein gebraten Ei aus dem Buffet (was wirklich grundlegende war). Ich kann mich nicht daran erinnern, als ich zuletzt in einem High Star Hotel geblieben bin, das keine Omelette machen würde. Aber die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist wunderbar. Die 2 Aufzüge sind für dieses Hotel nicht ausreichend, so bereiten Sie sich auf Ihre Fahrt einige Minuten zu warten, aber das ist das kleinste meiner Probleme. Ein Lächeln und angenehmen Service bei der Frühstücksterrasse hätte alles andere viel besser im Hotel gemacht. Oh... die Lage ist ausgezeichnet.

Alle Mitarbeiter sind so aufmerksam und machten ihr U**ost, um unseren Aufenthalt außergewöhnlich und unvergesslich zu machen! Die Rezeption, das Restaurant und die Hauspflegeteams machen Sie alle zu Hause wie Familie fühlen! Ein besonderer Dank geht an das Frontbüro: Antonio M. , Antonio S. , Mauro, Sabrina, Monica; Restaurantpersonal: Koch Patrizia P. , Angelo, Gianpietro, Massimo, Stefania. Sie sind alle Sterne! |0.25km vom StadtzentrumWir haben das Hotel Donomea für drei Nächte geblieben und was eine wunderbare Erfahrung, vom Rezeption Personal bis zum Frühstückspersonal und Reinigungspersonal war es First Class.Das Zimmer war geräumig und komfortabel mit einem großen Bett und einem sicheren und teefertigen Einrichtungen, Das Badezimmer war wirklich nett mit Doppelsinken und einen Spaziergang in der Dusche, die ich liebe, da es so viel sicherer ist, dann eine Überbad Dusche,Frühstück war gut mit einer breiten Vielfalt für jeden Geschmack,sowohl heiß und kalt,es war eine zehnminütige Spaziergang zur Altstadt und um 15 bis zum Hafen, der voll von fabulösen Restaurants ist.Ich würde Latino Restaurant/Bar für gutes Essen und Getränke zu sehr zu vernünftigen Preisen und hervorragenden Kundenservice und die Aussicht auf den schönen Hafen, das Gebäude ist auch steigend in der Geschichte, bleiben Sie von Kings Restaurant entfernt, da es sehr teuer ist und das Essen sehr mittelschwer ist, wir waren schockiert zum Preis.Es gibt eine schöne Pizzeria, wie Sie links von Hotel über die Straße, auch sehr gutes Essen und sehr gute Wert, In der Tat gibt es viele Restaurants in der Nähe des Hotels.Der Dachpool-Bereich ist nicht groß und sehr übersehen, aber wir waren nicht da für das Sonnenbad. Wir lieben Alghero und würden definitiv bei unserem nächsten Besuch im Hotel Donomea bleiben. Danke You Hotel Domomea..

|14.32km vom StadtzentrumSchöne, naturbelasene Lage in der nähe eines Naturstrandes. Camping größtenteils im Wald. Zur nächsten Stadt fährt man je nach Verkehr maximal 30 Minuten.Der Pool war stets sauber und in der Zeit nicht überfüllt. Nur die Badekappen sind nicht mehr zeitgemäß (:-)) Saintäre Anlagen waren stets sauber. Manche Bungalows sind in die Jahre gekommen. Mit paar Investitionen auf dem Gesamtgeländer könnte das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sicher viel besser ausfallen. Wir nutzten Mobil Homes.Dort war alles,wie auf der Web-Seite beschriebenn. Preise etwas überhöht für die Lage-daher waren gefüllte Hälfte der Mobilhäuser und ungalows nicht vermietet. Ansonsten sehr freundliches Personal. Wir würden wieder kommen, sofern paa Schönheits im Camping gätätigt wären, ansonsten nicht zu dem Preis.

|5.43km vom StadtzentrumMy husband & I spent 2 weeks at this hotel on bed & breakfast basis. Here is what we think. Hope you find it useful PROS - 2 lovely pools plenty of beds Nice beach, again, plenty of beds/brollies. We preferred to use the grassy area behind the beach which also has plenty of beds etc. Shallow water at beach - so good for kids Gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Location is nice ( see cons re flight path! ) and the views on a sunny day are gorgeous. Our room was adequate and serviced well. Lots of storage space. Although the website says they don't turn on Aircon until end June, they do turn it on if asked. They also provided us with a kettle in our room when asked, though tea/coffee/milk had to be bought at the local shop. Best WiFi we have ever experienced in a hotel anywhere. Strong in the garden/pool area too. Pool/beach staff attentive. All bar staff were good. A special mention for the only member of the restaurant staff who made a positive difference to our breakfast experience - Rafaella, thankyou. You are a star. Breakfast was ok on the whole but would benefit from an omelette station in order to have something hot to eat ( their 'hot' selection is lukewarm at best and by the time you get it to your table, it's cold. CONS - The sunbeds are very hard and have the choice of just one angle .. or flat.! We know these beds can come with a cushion as they are the same as the ones at Bombarde beach and they had cushions! I used my flight neck pillow a lot You are on the direct flight path for Alghero airport and the local military training airport which are less than 4 miles away so that should tell you how low they come over the hotel. Our bed in our room was so hard ( I appreciate that this may be a pro for some ) We asked for mattress toppers and these were provided which helped a little. The shower cubicle was very small and the water pressure is dismal. The drain in there was covered by a loose tile, and trying to shower whilst avoiding this obstacle required some skill. When it rained the roof above our room was extremely noisy. All in all I think we paid a lot of money for what we got. 4 star in Italy may be different to elsewhere maybe?
