Lage perfekt, direkt an der Felsalgarve, wenige Meter zum öffentlichen Strand Albandeira. Zimmer funktional und sauber, bis auf die kernsanierten 300/400er Nummern allerdings in die Jahre gekommen. Für Familien sind die Apartments mit 2 Schlafzimmern und Kitchinette gut geeignet, lediglich ein getrenntes WC geht ein wenig ab. Die neuen Zimmer haben keine Familiensuiten mehr, man kann aber eine Suite mit einem Deluxe Doppel kombinieren, dann hat man einen ähnlichen Effekt. Das House Keeping ist okay, mit Handtüchern gibt es keine Probleme, alles ausreichend vorhanden. Problematisch ist der ganze F&B Bereich. Das Personal ist weitestgehend führungslos, da nach Eigentümerwechsel kein Management vorhanden ist. Keinerlei Standards. Frühstücksbüffet okay, derzeit Abends auch Buffet, eher ziemlich schlecht. Ab 1.9. soll die Halbpension wieder auf Menü umgestellt werden. Das Servicepersonal ist bemüht, aber leider kaum ausgebildet. Gute Weine gibt es, allerdings muss man nach diesen frqgen und sich selber ein wenig auskennen. Aktiv oder auf einer Weinkarte werden diese nicht angeboten. Im Poolbereich und der Restaurantterrasse ist es regelmäßig dreckig. Stört allerdings niemanden vom Personal.

Alle Voraussetzungen ein gutes Hotel zu sein .... leider einige Dinge die überhaupt nicht passen! War im Juni 2024 in diesem Hotel und habe mich aufgrund der Beschreibung wirklich gefreut. Angekommen wurden wir von einem sehr netten jungen Mann begrüßt der uns sofort mit dem Gepäck geholfen hat. Anschließend check in ebenfalls durch eine sehr nette Dame an der Rezeption. Danach wurden wir zu unserem Appartement gebracht welches wirklich sehr schön war. Also die ersten Eindrücke absolut Top und Empfehlenswert. Von dann ging es leider aber bergab. Wir wollten uns gleich am Beginn am Pool ausruhen und haben uns gewundert das alle Auflagen für die Liegen umgedreht waren. Überall war Kot von den Möwen und anderen Vögeln. Dann mussten wir selbst die Auflagen umdrehen und leider feststellen das auch hier auf jeder Auflage (wir haben über 20 Auflagen angesehen) Kot war und hier sichtlich auch nie vernünftig gereinigt wird. Die Freude auf ein Sonnenbad war somit dahin und wir gingen wieder ins Appartement und haben uns auf die Sonnenterrasse begeben wo auf den Stühlen Gottseidank kein Kot war. Am Abend habe ich das an der Rezeption bemängelt ... Ergebnis leider das keine Verbesserung in 6 Tagen Aufenthalt erfolgt ist. Dann kam der 1. Morgen. Geschlafen sehr gut und die Vorfreude auf das Frühstück. Die Mitarbeiterinnen beim Frühstück waren eine einzige Katastrophe - uninteressiert (außer die Frage nach der Zimmernummer welche in meinem Fall 3 mal innerhalb von 15 Minuten erfolgte), aber keine Nachfrage ob man einen Kaffee möchte oder anderes. Ich ging dann selbst zu den Damen und habe Kaffee bestellt. Ingesamt waren dort während unseres Aufenthalts 4 Damen beim Frühstücksbuffet welche durchgehend unhöflich und uninteressiert waren. Wenn diese Probleme abgestellt werden können, kann es wirklich ein tolles Hotel werden. So würde ich nie wieder hinkommen!

We stayed as a family of 5 during August. When looking for holidays I struggled to find any 3 bedroom apartments so was pleased when I found this, the bungalow was on 2 floors and the whole place was huge with big bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a balcony coming off of the upstairs lounge and a terrace from the main bedroom downstairs, in terms of space I cannot fault it. The decor was dated and it could benefit from some updating. It was spotlessly clean and rooms were made up and towels replaced regularly. The pool was lovely and all 3 of my kids, aged 6, 11 and 14 enjoyed afternoons there, the only downside was that as we tended to go to the pool later in the day there wasn't any sunbeds left, it seemed people would claim the sunbeds for the whole day, even when they were no where to be seen! This didn't really bother us as more often than not we went straight into the pool and a sunbed became vacant soon afterwards. My son enjoyed the use of the pool table and the ice cream selection went down well with all the kids. I would note that the tiling around the pool table needs some attention as it is broken and my son cut his foot on the tiles one day. In terms of location it is a way out of the main resort, we walked down one night but it was a 20/25 mins walk, we had a car so just used that on the other evenings and we always found somewhere to park in town. If we didn't have a car I don't think we would have gone into the town as much as the kids weren't keen on the walk. The Ubers are cheap though and come quickly when booked. All in all I would recommend as long as you aren't expecting luxury I think Colina Village is good value for money. I would return again but would ideally prefer somewhere closer to the town if I could find somewhere with the same space and for a similar price. Carvoerio itself was beautiful and one of the nicest resorts we have stayed in, I would return in a heart beat, the people are all very friendly, I took my girls out on my own one evening and got an Uber home and I felt very safe.

Der Vorteil: Dies ist ein relativ großes schönes Feriendorf, in dem es zwei Stockwerke gibt. Es gibt verschiedene Pools außerhalb des Zimmers, 2 Restaurants, 1 Supermarkt. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr hoch. Ich lebe in einem Satz von zwei Zimmern, mit einer unabhängigen Küche und einer Terrasse. Das Badezimmer ist in der Mitte der geraden Linie von zwei Zimmern, die eine Rolle der Sound-Isolierung spielen. Das Zimmer ist ruhig und groß. Die Terrasse hat mehrere Wäsche. Die Küche hat einen Kühlschrank, eine elektrische Wasserkocher, Mikrowellenschrank und einen Kühlschrank usw., ist sehr bequem. Unzureichend: Der Reinigungspersonal ist zwei Tage, um das Zimmer einmal zu reparieren. Von der Einfahrt des Hotels zum Zimmer brauche ich einen Weg 7-8 Minuten. Nur beim Eintritt ist ein Fahrer mit einem Heckwagen (kostenlos), weil der Gast mit seinem Gepäck gekommen ist.

We've just returned from a 10 night stay at Placid Village and loved it. We had a 2 bed apartment and we've never had such a spacious apartment, it was huge! It was a bonus to have a second toilet with a washing machine and a dishwasher in the kitchen. The A/C worked really well and the kitchen was well equipped. The pool area is small but even though it was the summer holidays there was never a mad dash for sun beds in the morning, which was great. The complex has a little snack bar for drinks and ice creams during the day. And the reception staff were friendly and informative. It is a bit of a walk into the centre (20 mins) but we enjoy walking so it wasn't an issue. Don't let the walk put you off as Ubers and taxis are really reasonable. We used an Uber to get to the Intermarche supermarket and it was less than €4. There's a decent mini market about 5-10 mins away from the complex. We loved the resort of Carvoeiro, our 1st visit. We ate in lots of lovely restaurants, Bella Rosa, Xamor and the tapas place near the beach, to name a few. The sky bar at the Tivoli and sky bar 360 near the beach are great for a sundowner cocktail. And there's a lovely little bakery (turn left instead of right on the road at the bottom of the big hill). Worth visiting for breakfast. We walked to Algar Seco to see the cliffs/caves which are spectacular. We visited the Benagil caves and went kayaking. We also went to Ferragudo for the day, which was under €10 in an Uber. We had a fantastic holiday and we were really happy with everything about Placid Village.

Das Hotel ist eine hervorragende Lage für ein Hotel und ist nun vollständig renoviert zu einem sehr schönen 4-Sterne-Hotel. Wir haben hier vor der Renovierung geblieben, aber jetzt ist das Hotel so viel moderner und ideal für den Besuch von Carvoeiro. Wir blieben in einem fantastischen Meerblickraum vorne, das perfekt für den Sitz am Balkon, ein Getränk, ein Lesen oder ein Buch oder Kartenspiel zusammen. Das Restaurant war geschlossen, als wir da waren, so wurden uns Frühstücksgutscheine zu verwenden in Jan oder im Zentrum gegeben. Beide Restaurants bieten großartige Frühstücksbuffets, die besser waren als das Buffet, das Sie im Hotel bekommen hatten! Die Zugabe der Dachbar ist unglaublich, fantastische Aussichten, schöne Cocktails und großartiges Personal. Dieses Hotel ist immer perfekt gelegen, aber nicht richtig upgradiert ist es das ideale Hotel in Carvoeiro!

My Wife and I have just returned from a week's stay in the Mirachoro hotel, Carvoeiro. We were booked bed and breakfast. The hotel was excellent and a joy to be in. It was well situated, beautifully maintained and spotless. Our room was perfect, cleaned every day with fresh towels, lovely balcony view and well air conditioner. The Staff were so helpful and breakfast was an absolute treat! A variety of cereals and seeds, fresh fruit, cheese, yoghurts, cooked items, assortment of breads and more. Großes und ruhiges Zimmer, aber die Schranken sind alt und schmutzig und mit gefangenen Teilen. Großes aber schmutziges Balkon und braucht eine Aktualisierung in der Gemälde. Bad mit guter Raum aber mit starkem Geruch, das aus dem Rail kommt. Das Zimmer ist groß und es wäre gut, einen zusätzlichen Müll zu haben, weil es nur im Badezimmer und in der Küche. Die Mini-Küche hat eine gute Kühlschrank, aber die Schranken und Schrank sind sehr alt, mit starkem Geruch. Ich habe den Mangel an Detergenz und Schlauch in der Küche. Auf der Ebene des Zimmers würde es rechtfertigen, einen Nespresso zu haben, wäre sehr gut. Für den günstigen Punkt sind die Handtücher von hervorragender Qualität sowohl im Zimmer als auch im Pool. Der Poolbereich ist schön, gut betreuten Garten und Top-Stühle zu schlafen. Die Bar ist auch interessant, aber ich habe nicht verwendet, weil ich die Preise ein wenig teuer fand. Mittlere Frühstück, ich empfehle frische Orangensaft zu verbessern und mehr Brünoptionen. Wir essen einen Tag im Hotel, ich empfehle nicht, es ist ein Buffetservice und das Essen war nicht gut, es war teuer. Besser, die Mahlzeiten raus zu machen.

Gehen Sie zur Benagil-Höhle, ungefähr 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. Das ganze Hotel ähnelt einem kleinen Resort. Es war ein bisschen ähnlich wie das, in dem ich in Las Vegas übernachtet habe. Das Wohnzimmer ist sehr groß. Ich habe das Restaurant und den Pool nicht ausprobiert. Die Rezeption war sehr freundlich und kostengünstig.

Das Hotel ist absolut nichts falsch. Wir haben hier 3 Nächte geblieben, und nur wünschten, es sei länger. Im zweibettvilla mit TV in jedem Schlafzimmer und auch eine große eins unten. Die Größe der Schlafzimmer, Küche und Wohn-/Esszimmer ist riesig. Der Garten, die Schrubber und ein kleiner Rockpool wurden unermüdlich gepflegt. Der Innenpool, der Jacuzzi, die Sauna und das Dampfzimmer waren ein riesiger Plus. Meine Frau hatte eine heiße Steinmassage, denkt, das könnte das Beste sein, das sie je hatte. Die Sachen auf dem Vordertisch sind nett, die Reinigungsmittel sind effizient. Ich konnte einfach weiter gehen.

AMAZING! I will 100% return to Hello Villas. The pool is a great size and the pool bar has a simple menu with sandwiches, pizza, chips and drinks and is reasonably priced too. There is a barrier and porter at the entrance/exit so it felt very safe with children. Just a 10 min walk to the centre where there are plenty of places to eat and drink and shop. The walk is steep so coming back up takes a little longer and would be a challenge with a buggy or small kids/older travellers but the taxi cost around €4/€5 which we took at night and walked in the morning. The beach is stunning, the coastline is amazing and there are plenty of place to walk where you will see something different every time. We climbed through caves and jumped into the ocean and swam in cave pools. We had the 2 bed villa which was huge. Came with a washing machine and everything you could need. Beds covers and towels were changed regularly and the villa cleaned. We stayed 10 night and could have stayed 10 more

Context - 12 night stay, family with 2 young teenagers in August We stayed in Villa 100, a 'luxury 2 bed townhouse' Accomodation: Great accomodation, some maintenance required, but not important. The accomodation was spacious, clean, beds were really comfortable, showers were great, loads of kitchen storage, sofas really comfortable, effective air com, kitchen with 4 burner hob, ovem, microwave, toaster, cofferr machine, washing machine and dryer. 5 star comfort, and nearly 5 star appearance (just a few maintenence piece needed ie chips in kitchen cupbaords, locks of bathrooms not aligned etc) Outside the accomodation we had 2 loungers, 4 would have been better, a table with 4 chairs with a few of a small pool. The pool near our villa was excellent. We generally were able to get this to ourselves at some points in the day, and there were always loungers available. This isn't the main pool. The main pool is a couple of minutes walk from the villa, and again excellent. it was quiet, but still an atmosphere, no problem getting loungers. On one day we had to hunt down an umbrella. There is also an indoor pool, that opens out to a terrace. Didn't think we'd use it, but it was really nice, and we used that as well. Useful when it's windy and the outdoor pool got chilly. The spa was good. My wife had a treatment that she said was very good. there was a steam room and sauna, both good, a small gym (didn't use). Jacuzzi was open, but didn't seem to work ie no bubbles! Outdoor pool bar was closed for refurb, but an indoor alternative was available. Restaurant was probably the biggest disappointment. We were self catering, used it once, and didn't return. The food was ok, but comparing it to the external restaurants we ate at, was nowhere near as good and significantly more expensive. Service in the restaurant was more comparable to a 3 star hotel. What was particularly disappointing was that 'portuguese' night was just a subset of the standard A la carte menu. Housekeeping were variable, ranging from spectacular to average! Some days they even unloaded our dishwasher which was a lovely touch. Other days they took away hand towels and didn't replace them. Resort did not have much to do for teenagers, other than making their own entertainment in the pool, but for us that was fine. Overall, a hotel is pleasant, lovely pool areas and accommodation is extremely comfortable but let down by the restaurant. Outside of the resort, in Carvoeiro we ate at 'Elliots' in the centre, and 'Recanto da Boavista' (2 minute walk from the hotel). Both of these restaurants were excellent, and catered well for my son who has a milk allergy. The other place we went to in Carvoeiro was Sandoskas. Again really good, but more cheap and cheerful. Wir hatten ein Komfortzimmer mit Terrasse im 2. OG (man muss von der Lobby aber nach unten!) mit seitlichem Meerblick. Zimmer sehr schön, groß und sauber. Das Hotel punktet mit seiner Lage über der Bucht und dem damit verbundenen Meerblick von vielen Zimmern und dem Restaurant. Von außen ist das Hotel nicht sonderlich ansehnlich und die Dekoration innen (wenn man mal von der Lobby absieht) nicht so dolle. Man läuft lange durch unpersönliche Gänge um an sein Zimmer zu kommen. Kein Tageslicht in den Gängen. Ist vielleicht nicht so super wichtig, aber irgendwie würde man von einem Hotel dieser Kategorie mehr erwarten. Frühstück ist reichhaltig und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Service ist aufmerksam. Spa-Bereich ist vorhanden, haben wir aber nicht genutzt. Ich glaube, ich würde dem Hotel trotz der Annehmlichkeiten keine 5 Sterne geben. Alles in allem hatten wir aber einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt (wir waren eine Woche da) und haben die Lage und die wunderbare Aussicht sehr genossen. Das macht einiges wett...
