Wir waren froh mit diesem Motel. Die Betten waren komfortabel und das Zimmer fühlte sich geräumig. Sehr sauber. Personal war sehr nett und sorgfältig. Wir mussten unsere Reise kurz aufgrund eines kranken Verwandten schnitten. Wir haben unseren Iphone-Ladegerät vergessen. Ohne zusätzliche Gebühr (nur die Kosten der Mailing des Pakets) schickten sie uns den Ladegerät. Vielen Dank für Ihre freundlichen Worte.

I had stayed at this motel in July for 1 night under the Air B and B and loved it. It was peaceful and where as we had neighbours on both sides, (one side had a family with young children.) Both were quiet and respectful of the space. Yes the place does need some repairs and painting but I saw that they were working on it so I was fine with that. Because of my experience in July, I took my older mother there for 2 days in August for some R and R due to some hard stuff going on in our family. Sadly that experience was very different. Lets start with the positives Location: Great location with the beach steps away and the boardwalk for walking, riding or jogging Free mini golf, A nice big grassy field in front with fire pits, volleyball net and swings. Lots of space for kids and families to roam around. Kitchenette; A full size fridge and very well stocked with appliances. Comfy beds Sadly, there were many CONS: Inside, our room had a broken patio door latch but I could use my thumb to lock it. When I went to report it the next morning, I was informed that there was a lock at the bottom to use. We should have been informed of that when we checked in. The bathmat was disintegrating and did not stick to the bottom of the tub and bits were coming off. I reported that the next day and was informed that “they would find me a new one if they had one”. We did receive a brand new one later that day. On one of the beds, the bedskirt was thrashed. It looked like a cat had ripped it apart. Boundaries: When we arrived, we had a family on one side that had a lot of people including young children and they spilled into our area a bit. The chairs were set up in a way that some people were looking directly at us whether we were inside or out. We chose to eat inside with the curtains closed as we did not want to be continually stared at. Later we had gone off and when we came back, the young children had left stuff on our picnic table and the adults allowed the children to ride their bikes on the cement patios right outside the patio door. The kids would stop in front of our door and stare at us. I don’t blame the children as they were young but no one stopped that behaviour. I love that the motel is family friendly and there is lots of room for the kids to roam. But that does not mean right outside our door in our patio area. Not sure that management could have done anything about that. Noise: We did go out later as the family had left for a while, but the other neighbours were very loud outside and smoking on the patio as well. Smoking anything is supposed to be 3 meters away. The smell drove us back inside. They woke us up around 1am both with loud voices in the next room and there was yelling and screaming in the parking lot along with horn honking and a motorcycle reving for a good few minutes. As there is no staff after midnight, they couldn’t have dealt with the situation anyway. Thankfully, we were leaving the next day otherwise we would h

We found this place not long after we got off the ferry at Departure Bay, Nanaimo , on the island, in Parksville . We didn't have a reservation, so my husband just went in and asked if they had a room. They did have one reasonably priced, so we took it for the night. Thanks for the popcorn ! We were also able to have our 2 little dogs there, which was great ! When we got in the room, I tried to turn the ac on, but it smelled dusty, so I shut it off. There wasn't any cover or filter on it, and it was dusty inside of it, so I left it off. We were only staying one night, so it was no big deal and wasn't too hot. Later thay evening we decided to see if we could get the room for another night and we were able to get the same room. It was, however, warmer the next night, so it would have been nice to put it on. The parking is free and well lit. There was a path close by to go down to the beach and a nice outdoor sitting area at the Inn. There is also an amusement place right next door with mimi golf, bumper boats, gelato, as well as other food. The room was clean with a table and chairs, a fridge, and a sm freezer and close to the departure bay ferry terminal. I would stay again if I got a room with working ac.

Parents of neurodivergent children BEWARE!! We were visiting family for the day and spent most of our time at the pool. The lifeguard on duty was horrific, she abused her power and was often yelling unnecessarily at the kids trying to have fun. After yelling at my autistic son for going down the slide with his little sister, my sister ( who was watching him at the moment) approached the lifeguard and explained that my son was neurodivergent and would not respond well to her yelling at him, so if he did something that needed to be corrected could she please let my sister or myself know so we can talk to my son ourselves which would greatly reduce the risk of a meltdown. The lifeguard looked her in the face and said “ I will NOT do that, kids need to listen to ME and learn to listen to other people besides their parents.” After trying to explain again why this wouldn’t work for my son, the lifeguard became even more aggressive in the way she was speaking to my sister. It was shocking. Shortly after a young boy with Down syndrome was eating his ice cream by the pool, the lifeguard marched over there and yelled at the boy, “you can’t have that here!!” Grabbed the ice cream out of his hand and took it to his mother who was sitting by the fence. Everyone sitting there was horrified. It was really sad to watch the little guy so confused and upset while he was on vacation just trying to have fun. If your job is to monitor kids, it is crucial that you are sensitive to the neurodiversity of children and are properly trained to handle their uniqueness in a respectful manner. When you are approached by a caregiver who explains the needed way to deal with a neurodivergent child and decide that you are more equipped to handle that child using force and aggression, YOU are in the wrong job. That life guard is very lucky that it was my sister she was dealing with and not me. I will not recommend this resort to anyone. I am extremely disappointed and shocked.

Our group of nine, four adults and five teenagers spent seven days at this resort. We had two separate units and we had the units with three bedrooms. One of the bedrooms is actually its own studio suite which was kind of nice because it does have its own fridge and a little AC unit and it’s own separate bathroom so it was really, great actually We were in the 200 building facing the pool. If you’re not a lover of family resorts or kids this may not be the place for you or at least don’t face the pool lol. There are a number of different types of accommodations here and there are also some townhouses which I think are two bedroom suites which looked very nice. There’s also some villas, but they book up a year in advance And they overlook the ocean which is beautiful. We were on the third floor of the 200 building and we could see a little bit of the ocean from our balcony. The nice thing about our room was that it did face the pool, but it was really quite private because there was trees in front and when you’re sitting on the patio , you had a lot of privacy. The balcony had an overhang as well, which was nice. There’s also a gas barbeque on the balcony which we used a few times The AC units are the ones that vent outside and they’re decent enough. (Not central air like the townhomes had). The pool is open until 11 o’clock every night. The teenagers had complaints about the hot tub that it wasn’t hot enough, but overall the pool was fine. My couple complaints are just observations about the places that you may not want to have somebody above you if you’re in the Buildings where the condo/Apartment style units are. As I said we were on the third floor and this building is four floors and you could hear a lot of the people above you stomping around. Not a dealbreaker I mean we were fine with it, but they had little kids and they were ripping around quite a bit so it was kind of annoying when they would start at 6 AM. anyway it wasn’t that bad Just an observation. The property, at least in the apartment style condo units don’t get cleaned for the time that you’re here so you have to constantly ask for things when you run out such as toilet paper, sugar, those kinds of things. Parking could be a struggle from time to time because the place fills up a lot every night, especially on the weekends, but it was never a huge deal for our group. Overall experience here though was very good and we would return.

Die Lage ist wirklich toll und insgesamt macht die Anlage auch einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Die Pizza aus dem Restaurant war sehr lecker und das Personal im Hotel war sehr freundlich. Die Küche im Appartement war gut ausgestattet, so dass man sich auch gut selbst versorgen kann. Unser Zimmer war sehr rustikal eingerichtet, wer also etwas modernes sucht, ist hier falsch. Das Zimmer hatte keine Klimaanlage und durch das viele Holz war es recht stickig und warm, trotz milder Temperaturen von maximal 24 Grad. Die Ventilatoren kamen dagegen leider nicht an. Das Hotel hat ansonsten einen direkten Strandzugang, auch wenn es schönere Strände gibt (z.B. Qualicum Beach).

Wir hatten ein sehr komfortabeles Zimmer für drei von uns - wir schliefen gut. Nicht besonders luxuriös, sondern nur das, was Sie für eine Nacht oder zwei brauchen. Wir gingen einfach durch. Personal war freundlich. Frühstück war muffin-basiert, aber genug, um Sie auf der Straße zu bekommen!

Es war eine erstaunliche Übung, die im Turtle zu bleiben, es ist im Zentrum der Stadt, super nahe dem Ozean, Restaurants und Nachtleben ist gut. Ich bin sicher, dort wieder zu bleiben! Es war sauber n net, niemand störte, Gäste waren super freundlich.

2 Nächte hier im Ostern Wochenende verbrachte. Sehr freundliches Front Desk Personal und das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett sehr komfortabel. Folgend sind Beobachtungen und NICHT Beschwerden. - Es gibt keinen Ort, um Ihre Werte zu verschließen. Das war meine Sorge, weil ich ein Dieb von einem anderen Hotel in der Stadt hatte. -instead of a key card, you’re given, upon check-in, a small piece of paper with a code for the main door (for after hours entry) and you provide your own set of number for your press button room door lock. Ich fand es hilfreich, mit meinem Telefon ein Bildschirm zu nehmen, wenn ich das Stück Papier verloren habe. Es ist klein, ihr alle! - es gibt keinen Kleider, um Kleidung zu lagern. Es gibt eine Racke mit Hängern, aber für Artikel wie Unterwäsche und Shorts usw., Sie müssen Ihre Tasche verwenden. - Das Zimmer ist mit einer Küche ( Mikrowelle, Mini-Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine) ausgestattet, aber fehlt in Geschirr und Gerichten. - to accommodate the idea of using the space as a eating area, there is a breakfast bar and 2 stools but the room's layout is awkward and would be hard to use. - Es gibt einen schönen kleinen Patio-Raum und Sie könnten dort aus essen, aber aufgrund des Regens konnte ich es nicht verwenden. - Ich war gut mit dem nächsten bis zero-Zoll-Gegenraum im Badezimmer, aber wenn Sie eine Menge Toiletten haben, könnte dies eine Herausforderung sein. -Es gibt keinen Weg, die Dusche von einer Entfernung zu wechseln, d. h. ohne unter den Duschekopf zu kommen, aufgrund der glitzernden Duschetürorientierung. - Das Zimmer war ziemlich schön eingerichtet und ich war hier sehr komfortabel. Ich bin ein leichter Schlafanzug und das Zimmer ist definitiv nicht klangfest, so war ich froh, meine Ohrschalen und weiße Lärmapp zu haben! Dies soll eine informative Bewertung sein, nicht negativ überhaupt. Der Preis war gut und ich genossen meinen Aufenthalt.

Nicht viel erwartet, basierend auf der Zimmerrate, aber war sehr angenehm überrascht. Moderne, neue oder kürzlich renovierte, spotlessly clean, zentral gelegen, Wert für Geld. Comp Tropfen Kaffee (inkl. Decaf) 24/7 Verfügbar in der Rezeption. Der Empfangsmann Ankush war sehr professionell und effizient. Nicht einmal sah ich ihn auf seinem Handy, er war immer anwesend, wartete auf Hilfe jemand, der in die Empfangsbestätigung kam. (impressiv heute & Alter 😏) Sehr komfortabel Aufenthalt, danke.
