I stayed for 4 nights, booked directly with the hotel for best price, in July 2023, in a single room (no 104). I arrived at about 10 am at the hotel and it was great that the room was ready and I could check in so early in the day, have a shower and then head off to explore Padova. First of all, my room was not a typical single room in an Italian hotel, that is tiny, but a regular one, which was a big plus. The bed was not a double, but not a narrow single bed either, somewhat one in the middle, which was great. The room was properly furnished, if basic. The bathroom was also large by Italian standards, but with a major flaw: the shower was positioned right in the middle of the bathroom, and cordoned off by a plastic shower curtain that was frankly below any standards, not to mention a 4* hotel. Towels were of good quality. I appreciated and used the minibar, safe, AC, TV with decent selection of channels. Both room and bathroom were kept very clean, and the room efficiently serviced every day. Breakfast was good and varied, espresso provided by request. I chose this hotel for my stay in Padua due to its position, right in front of the railway station. It was very useful as I used it as a base to do daily trips by train to Venice and Verona using the fast (RV=Reggio Veloce) and cheap Italian railway (Trenitalia). You can also include Vicenza. Given its proximity to the station there are a lot of less than desirable people hanging around the hotel, mostly immigrants from Africa, but I never felt inconvenienced or threatened in any way. Pay great attention though while in the station while acquiring your train tickets from the automatic ticket machines. The hotel is also very well placed to explore Padova since the tram station for the tram journey to the historic centre, St Anthony’s church (“Il Santo”), and Il Prato is right in front of the hotel. Tram tickets office also just across the street. I was also somehow worried about the noise from the street given that my room was overlooking the main road in front of the station, but the sound insulation was very good, did not have problems with traffic noise. All in all, this is good value for money hotel for exploring Padua, and Veneto at large, I warmly recommend it. If you fly in/ out from Treviso airport (TSF) there is also a direct bus from the bus station located not far from the railway station, at a cheap fare.

Very friendly staff at this family run hotel. Exceptionally clean. Large airy bedroom. No tea/coffee in the bedroom, which seems to be the norm in Italy. The hairdryer is good. Only a shower in the bathroom, which would ordinarily be ok on holiday, but when waking 10 miles a day, a bath at the end of the day would have been great. The bed is nice and firm, but the pillows are like stones, but again, after so much fun in the day, I could have slept standing up. It’s a five minute walk from the station, so perfect for travelling to different areas, and the trains are clean and frequent. Also ideal for transferring to/from the airport as the bus station is there too. A basic continental breakfast, which was sufficient but not exceptional. Dinner also was sufficient, but the restaurant doesn’t have much ambiance. Our waitress was super lovely (I think called Anna) and we enjoyed chatting with her greatly. There is only one plug point in the bedroom and it only works when the lights are on, so if you need to charge more than one phone etc, take a multi plug. Overall we were really happy, will definitely stay here again, and would recommend others to.

The Hotel Europa is only a ten or twelve minute walk from the Padova railway station and is easy to find. The hotel is also only about a ten minute walk to the centre of the old town, with historical sites and shopping, restaurants and bars all being fairly close. Check-in was easy and despite being early by about twenty minutes, the receptionist gave me a room. A double room, it had an independent air-conditioning unit, a safe (which was unfortunately locked when I arrived), plenty plug points, a fridge with two bottles of water and a bathroom with very basic toiletries. The internet wifi worked alright. Rather strangely for a 4 star hotel however, there was no coffee machine/kettle in the room with instant coffee/tea etc. The room was clean and although not luxurious was comfortable enough. Breakfast was of the usual continental style but with the addition of bacon and scrambled or boiled eggs. A few rolls, breads, croissants, pastries, tarts as well as cold meat, cheese, yoghurt, choice of cereals, fruit juice and some fresh fruit. Sounds like a lot, but compared with other hotel breakfast buffets, it was actually quite meagre. No self-service coffee machine (probably a good thing!) but you could ask the staff for a cappucini or whatever. They didn’t actively ask if you wanted a coffee; you had to approach and ask them. Likewise when first entering the restaurant there was no ‘buongiorno” or “good morning”, just a rather sour faced woman asking for your room number. I did ask the receptionist if the safe in my room could be opened so as I could use it and was promised that somebody would come later to fix it but they never did. However having lost my phone charger, I also asked if I could borrow one and the receptionist went into a drawer and gave me one to use. Check-out was quick with another cheery guy at reception. Overall, a bit of a hit or a miss type of place. The receptionists were fine (other than not following up on my request regarding the room safe) but the attitude of the breakfast staff leaves a lot to be desired and I can’t understand a 4 star hotel not having a kettle in the room. At best an average hotel which seemed to me to be more of a 3 than a 4 star. I’ve actually stayed in several better 3 star hotels in Italy than this place. Significantly better!

Das Hotel befindet sich in einer hervorragenden Lage: Es ist im historischen Zentrum, aber mit dem Gepäck-Ladegerät erreichbar und mit Glück kann man kostenfrei 5 Gehminuten zu Fuß parken. Es ist nicht sehr neu, vor allem was die gemeinsamen Teile oder Details wie Silikon an den Duschenrinden betrifft, aber die Zimmer sind sauber und in guter Ordnung. Die Dienstleistungen sind etwas spartaner und geopfert wartet: Fernseher ist klein und fast 45 Grad gezielt gegenüber dem Bett, der Klimaanlage sehr langsam funktioniert und der Kühlschrank ist abwesend. Außerdem konnte der Austritt am letzten Tag um ein paar Stunden nicht verzögert werden, aber als Gegenleistung wird die Gepäcklagerung in einem speziellen Raum angeboten. Insgesamt ist eine gute Lösung, wenn es keine besonderen Bedürfnisse gibt, aber man sucht einen guten Ort zu erschwinglichen Preisen, vielleicht für Arbeit.

Visited for 2 nights, location ok, a short walk to the old city. Had breakfast one day which was good, plenty of parking at a charge. Room was warm and clean but awful location. Ground floor in a recessed area at the rear of hotel by access to a back door. Very dark, had to have light on at all times, this then meant have to have shutter down all the time to prevent anyone seeing in. Hotel may respond to say we should have raised this as an issue, we were only there 2 nights and spent all day out and about we didn't bother. They shouldn't allocate this room to anyone.

Dies ist eher ein Businesshotel mit Autobahnanschluß. Es kommt luxuriös rüber beim betreten der Lobby, ist aber schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Wir hatten ein riesen Zimmer mit 2 Bädern, gut isoliert, ohne Frühstück. Auch die Lobbybar haben wir nicht genutzt. Ein Taxi in die Altstadt kostet ca. 20 - 25 EUR/Strecke. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kostenfreies Parken auf dem Hotelparkplatz!

Zweitens stoppen. Das Zimmer mag es nicht - die Badezimmertür war nicht geöffnet, im Badezimmer unter dem Kühlschrank - der Mini-Kühlschrank fehlte.Rein. Die Fenster gingen zum Parkplatz. Lärmlich. Lärmliche Isolierung leidet. Nachbarn wurden verhindert, nachts zu schlafen.

Our stay in Casa Del Pellegrino was very good. It was clean and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant a few times at night and loved the fillet steak, the pork ribs and desserts were to die for. They have a tiramisu that is specific to this region, its the best we've ever had. The cafe was very good also, great coffee and pastries very friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was fine, good strong coffee, juices, plenty of everything. The reception staff were very accommodating. We would certainly recommend to our friend's. David & Patricia

This characterful hotel in a quiet street in the centre of Padua. Many of the major tourist sites of interest are nearby with the added bonus of being surrounded by little streets with eateries and cafes. The staff were incredibly helpful, way above and beyond that which we might have expected. It was them who really contributed to making this a gem in the heart of Padua.

Air Conditioning blows warm. Not cold not cool, warm. Front desk informs you to play with the thermostat. Yep… still not working. Switched rooms to AC that was “working”. Same situation and later found many reviews stating the same. Obviously hotel looking to save $$ on thermostat settings. Additionally as American not one channel in English nor the ability to switch languages on the remote. Hotel fine for locals who are not needing Air Conditioner nor English speaking channels. Pass.

freundlicher Service gutes Frühstück und moderne saubere Zimmer, alles perfekt. Tiefgarage für Auto zusätzlich Buchbar für zehn Euro am Tag. Ins Stadtzentrum circa zu Fuß 15-20 Minuten. die Klimaanlage war sehr leise musste aber auch nicht angeschaltet werden weil das Zimmer sehr kühl war. Badezimmer sehr groß und geräumig.

Das ist unser zweiter Aufenthalt im Garibaldi Hotel, und wir planen sicher, dass wir zurück gehen, wenn und wann wir in die Gegend reisen können. Das Personal ist sehr gut zu Hause, das Frühstück ist wunderbar, und es ist auch günstig nahe der Bahnhof (ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß), was eine sehr einfache Aufgabe macht Reisen zu jedem Ziel (Verona, Mailand, Venedig, Trieste, etc..). Vor allem sind die Preise mehr als vernünftig, da ein Doppel mit Frühstück etwa $60 pro Nacht betrug. Ich würde dieses Hotel sicherlich jedem besuchenden Venedig empfehlen (eine 20-minütigen Zugfahrt, zu einem unglaublichen Preis von $5 jede Reise) oder an jedem anderen Ort in der Gegend, da es in der Nähe der Eisenbahn ist.

At best an average hotel which seemed to me to be more of a 3 than a 4 star. I’ve actually stayed in several better 3 star hotels in Italy than this place. Significantly better!

Das Hotel verfügt über einen hervorragenden Servicebar und ein gutes Restaurant, schönes und komfortables Hall und mit einem gut ausgestatteten und kostenlosen Sprung für alle Gäste. Bewertung betrifft Galileo Hotel, eigentliche Buchung war im Tower Tower Hotel, diese Bewertung dient zum. Nachvollziehen unserer Erfahrung. Wir waren eine Nacht hier auf der Durchreise nach Kroatien. Ich habe das Zimmer eigentlich letztes Jahr schon gebucht, musste dies aber zwecks Corona absagen/verschieben, worauf ich von dem Hotel einen Gutschein erhalten habe. Gebucht habe ich das Zimmer im Tower Hotel, auch dieses Jahr. Ein paar Tage vor Anreise erhielt ich eine Email dass das Tower Hotel geschlossen hat und ich umgebucht wurde auf Galileo. Im Tower Hotel habe ich für Sie Suite 135€ gezahlt, das Zimmer/die Suite in Galileo kostet allerdings nur 107€. Auch auf Nachfrage habe ich leider kein Geld zurück erhalten, was ich vom Service ziemlich schlecht fand, da ich nichts dafür kann dass das Tower Hotel geschlossen hat, warum weiß ich auch nicht. Ich fragte auch nach ob die Premier Suite frei ist, hätte natürlich den Aufpreis gezahlt, aber scheinbar war diese belegt. Schade. Das Zimmer war dennoch sehr schön und wir hatten eine Whirpool Badewanne die ich auch genutzt habe. Wir hatten eine riesige Terrasse, leider hatte diese weder Stühle noch Liegen, was bei diesem Wetter sehr schade ist. Diese war leider auch nicht sehr sauber, es lagen Zigaretten stümmel auf dem Boden und eine Bierflasche im Kübel. Im Hotel angekommen sind wir noch ins Restaurant gegangen, dieser Besuch ist uns leider nicht gerecht geworden. Es gab eine sehr kleine Speisekarte, keine Getränke karte und es fühlte sich eher an wie in einem Frühstücksraum in einer Jugendherberge. Der Kellner war sehr aufdringlich und ließ uns keine Zeit zu entscheiden was wir essen wollen. Ich schickte ihn 2 mal weg da wir noch am schauen waren, 2 Minuten später war er wieder da und ich hatte keine Nerven auf weitere Diskussion, da wir von der Fahrt (8std.) ziemlich ko waren. Wir haben dann das Steak gegessen, das war in Ordnung, leider war die Beilage ein Witz, war sehr sehr wenig, das könnte man ändern. Auf der Rechnung war wie üblich das Trinkgeld schon beinhaltet, was ich in dieser Location völlig überzogen fand. Danach sind wir in die Bar auf ein paar Drinks, sehr nette Bedienung und alles in allem ein schöner Abend. Geschlafen haben wir auch sehr gut, ich würde dieses Hotel auf jedenfall empfehlen, nur unter anderen Umständen nicht so wie es bei uns war, leider. Mit dieser Bewertung hoffe ich einfach das man etwas Service Orientierter handelt, und gerade bei einem solchen Preisunterschied, bei dem der Gast nichts für kann, einem entgegenkommt.

Das Hotel hatte 4 Sterne und wurde abgestuft, ich vermute wegen technischer Details bzw. fehlendem Restaurant. Vielleicht auch, weil die Teppichböden im Stiegenhaus getauscht werden sollten. Wir haben für 3 Nächte gebucht, weil man für Padua Zeit braucht, sogar noch mehr als wir geplant hatten. Das Hotel war für uns perfekt, tolle Lage gegenüber der St. Antonius-Kathedrale (die Glocken sind nachts stumm!) und schon in der Altstadt. Das Zimmer ausreichend geräumig und schön eingerichtet, auch Minibar und Safe vorhanden. Im Bad nur Wanne und Handbrause aber zum Glück kein Duschvorhang. Zwischen Eingangstür zum Zimmer und Zimmertüre liegt ein Gang mit Garderobe, dadurch gute Dämmung zum Stiegenhaus. 24h-Rezeption, freundlicher Service, Frühstück reichhaltig. Wenn in der Hotelgarage kein Platz vorhanden ist, erreicht man in einigen 100 m Entfernung die Garage Roma, ein Nostalgie-Erlebnis der besonderen Art. Den Autoschlüssel würde ich aber nicht mehr dort lassen. Für Frühstücksmuffel ist gleich neben dem Hoteleingang eine Bar, dort gibt es 1 Espresso + 1 Croissant um 2,- Euro.

Wir haben das Hotel für einen Zwischenstop für eine Nacht auf der Heimreise besucht. Das Dreibettzimmer war super, die Betten hervorragend, das Bad ebenfalls supersauber und nagelneu; auch das Frühstück, ”eigentlich” ein Buffet, corona-mäßig aber vom Personal nach Wunsch auf ein Tablett zusammengestellt, war ebenfalls vielfältig, lecker und ohne jede Beanstandung. Lediglich das Abend-Restaurant war (geöffnet bis 22.30, warme Küche bis 21.45) nichts besonderes. Aufgrund unserer späten Ankunft konnten wir ”gerade noch” essen, haben aber das Gefühl gehabt, den verfrühten Feierabend irgenwie zu stören; auch sind fast 70 Euro für drei Teller lauwarme Nudeln und drei Getränke angesichts eines Zimmerpreises inklusive Frühstück von 120 Euro für dieselben drei Personen im Verhältnis viel zu teuer, zumal man ”unter Tage” ohne Fenster in einem quasi-Business-Tagungs-Hotel-Restaurant sitzt. Das soll kein Vorwurf sein, aber das Abendessen war schlicht und einfach 20 Euro zu teuer, alles andere war super. Kostenlose Parkplätze und auch videoüberwachte Tiefgarage sind im Preis inbegriffen, das ist wiederum sehr anständig.

Abbiamo soggiornato, assieme a mia moglie, per due notti in questo hotel. La struttura, moderna e funzionale, si trova appena fuori Padova, in una zona residenziale, ad un paio di chilometri dall'uscita Padova Est dell'autostrada A4. E' in una posizione strategica perché si trova in un luogo tranquillo ma da cui ci si può muovere con molta facilità sia verso il centro di Padova che verso la vicina stazione di Busa di Vigonza per recarsi in treno a Venezia in appena 40 minuti. A tal proposito ringrazio il proprietario per gli ottimi consigli, sia per visitare Padova che per recarci a Venezia. La camera, di recente ristrutturazione, era molto ampia, moderna e perfettamente climatizzata. Il letto (king size) era veramente comodo e tutta la struttura splendidamente pulita. La colazione a buffet offre una grande varietà e qualità, sia per chi ama il dolce che per chi ama il salato. All'esterno c'è un'ampio parcheggio di proprietà, anche se non custodito. I titolari sono stati molto gentili e disponibili. Merita veramente!

Großer Ort für das Geld. Lieben das Restaurant in Giorgio, machen sie außergewöhnliche Pizza. Wir verbrachten die ganze Zeit im Fitnessraum und später im Pool, wo wir zwei große Top-Tap-Toe Tanzer von Frosinone trafen. Das einzige Problem war, dass das Nachbarzimmer sich um 3 Uhr über das Banging beschwert hat. Aber das war unser Fehler, wir erkennen, und wir sind tief bedauerlich. Padova (Padua) ist eine wunderbare Stadt, voll von Dingen, aber ein bisschen über den Ort. Der Hauptblick, den wir vorschlagen, ist die „Ponte de quatre martiri“, wo Sie die Sonnenuntergang und die Spider umgeben genießen können. Auch wir schlagen einen Tag für Legnaro vor, das einzige, was zu bewachen ist, kommende Thunderstorme. Das beste über Padua ist aber das Bussystem, das frei und immer rechtzeitig ist. Ich habe vergessen, die schöne Capela di Scovregni zu erwähnen, wo man die Meisterwerke von Lionardo und Rafaello bewundern kann. Wir möchten auch dem Personal für ihre außergewöhnliche Leistung danken, die mit dem Motto zusammengefasst wird: „Nein“, was sie gesagt haben, bedeutete „Natürlich“. Die einzige Beschwerde war, als wir um den Zugang zum Sitzungsraum gebeten hatten, auf den sie antworteten: „...cuesti un costo“, was uns erkannte, wie schwierig das Leben für alle ist.

I booked one hour before arrival, arrived late after a long trip and was starving - everything was closed, but the friendly front office team made kind suggestions where I could order food. Then the chef passed the lobby on his way home and asked if I wanted to eat. His team was still there, busy cleaning up and they quickly prepared me some delicious food, wow so friendly and kind - this is true hospitality from all members of the team and such an unusual caring experience. Thank you! Room and facilities are excellent, clean and nice. But it's always the people that make the real difference.

Hotel dagli arredi della hall, del bar e della sala colazione, decisamente antiquati per un 3 stelle. Da svecchiare alla grande. Camera grande, anche troppo, con qualche arredo moderno, ma senza finestra/e !!!!!! Ma con un muro in vetro cemento che nelle ore di punta del sole sei obbligato ad accendere al massimo l’aria condizionata, per poter respirare. Sarà comodo per chi deve soggiornare per essere vicino all’Ospedale Civile, magari per sottoporsi a visite o quant’altro, ma ciò non giustifica lo stile anni 80 dell’ingresso e delle sale comuni. Pet frendly. Comodo il parcheggio a pagamento dell’hotel, per l’auto, essendo tutte le vie del circondario a strisce blu. Prezzo adeguato perché sei a 10 minuti a piedi dalla Basilica di Sant’Antonio, dalla Cappella degli Scrovegni, dal Prato della Valle, dalle altre chiese e dal centro con negozi e bar per un buon spritz. A me personalmente non è piaciuto e non ci ritornerei, anche se lo staff è molto gentile e premuroso.

Es liegt im Industriegebiet neben der Autobahn, was wir brauchten, da wir die Nacht auf der Straße verbracht haben, wir sind nicht nach Padua selbst gefahren. Nicht laut, man kann bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Das Zimmer ist nicht sehr sauber, kaputte Steckdosen und einige Klempnerarbeiten. Frühstück ist ok, nichts besonderes. Das Parken ist kostenlos. Suchen Sie nach der zweiten Decke im Nachttisch, wo normalerweise Minibars stehen

Durchschnittliches Hotel, ohne Schande und ohne Lob. Für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel und den gezahlten Preis habe ich mehr erwartet, das Zimmer ist einfach. Positiv hervorzuheben ist das außergewöhnliche Frühstück, abwechslungsreich und mit süßen und herzhaften Produkten von ausgezeichneter Qualität. Auch die Freundlichkeit der Empfangsdame wurde sehr geschätzt. Wenn man zu Fuß unterwegs ist, ist die Lage nicht die beste, die Straße vom Bahnhof ist nicht schön und die Busse halten nicht direkt vor der Tür.

Very friendly staff at this family run hotel. Exceptionally clean. Large airy bedroom. No tea/coffee in the bedroom, which seems to be the norm in Italy. The hairdryer is good. Only a shower in the bathroom, which would ordinarily be ok on holiday, but when waking 10 miles a day, a bath at the end of the day would have been great. The bed is nice and firm, but the pillows are like stones, but again, after so much fun in the day, I could have slept standing up. It’s a five minute walk from the station, so perfect for travelling to different areas, and the trains are clean and frequent. Also ideal for transferring to/from the airport as the bus station is there too. A basic continental breakfast, which was sufficient but not exceptional. Dinner also was sufficient, but the restaurant doesn’t have much ambiance. Our waitress was super lovely (I think called Anna) and we enjoyed chatting with her greatly. There is only one plug point in the bedroom and it only works when the lights are on, so if you need to charge more than one phone etc, take a multi plug. Overall we were really happy, will definitely stay here again, and would recommend others to.

Das Hotel befindet sich in einer hervorragenden Lage: Es ist im historischen Zentrum, aber mit dem Gepäck-Ladegerät erreichbar und mit Glück kann man kostenfrei 5 Gehminuten zu Fuß parken. Es ist nicht sehr neu, vor allem was die gemeinsamen Teile oder Details wie Silikon an den Duschenrinden betrifft, aber die Zimmer sind sauber und in guter Ordnung. Die Dienstleistungen sind etwas spartaner und geopfert wartet: Fernseher ist klein und fast 45 Grad gezielt gegenüber dem Bett, der Klimaanlage sehr langsam funktioniert und der Kühlschrank ist abwesend. Außerdem konnte der Austritt am letzten Tag um ein paar Stunden nicht verzögert werden, aber als Gegenleistung wird die Gepäcklagerung in einem speziellen Raum angeboten. Insgesamt ist eine gute Lösung, wenn es keine besonderen Bedürfnisse gibt, aber man sucht einen guten Ort zu erschwinglichen Preisen, vielleicht für Arbeit.
