Brilliant solution for an early departure. I went to the theatre in London, got the London Bridge - Gatwick train, arrived around midnight, and was on a plane leaving 09.05 next morning for BCN, feeling thoroughly rested. Being on site made all that possible. The cabins are bigger, and better provisioned, than a sleeping compartment on a train, complete with en suite loo and shower. The TV is cunningly positioned at the foot of the (extremely comfy) bed. Circulation space is extremely tight, but if all you need to do is go to bed, get up, shower and leave again a few hours later, it doesn't matter. Excellent value for money, spotlessly clean, everything in good condition. Highly recommended.

All communications clear and easy to follow. Perfect location to access Gatwick airport. The room was spotlessly clean with good quality towels and sheets. An excellent find which we roll certainly use again !

We have been staying at the Hotel for a few weeks now. After long hours at work, we just wanted to stay somewhere where we can disconnect with work, relax and connect with other people. Nevertheless, I would like to share with everyone that Bar attendant (James) would always go that extra mile to ensure customer expectations are exceeded. Is not just about serving you a drink and taking orders. Excellent customer service by always interacting with customers, offering advice, friendly, accommodative making our staying very pleasant. Ein kleines, teueres Zimmer, aber alle Hotels von Gatwick schienen zu teuer. Wandern bis zum Südterminal (ca. 10 Minuten) aber nicht leicht zu finden, die beste Wanderweg vom Terminalpark, wenn dunkel - einige Zeichen im Autoparkgebäude können hilfreich sein. Bar schließt auch ein bisschen früh.

I specifically booked a night at the Sofitel Gatwick because it included 'Meet and Greet' parking with Maple Parking. Had they not included this I would have still stayed but made other arrangments for my car. I arrived at the Maple Parking Meet and Greet and parked the car. Took my keys over to the attendant and signed in. I then asked if they could give me 20 minutes to check in to the hotel, change clothes and bring a bag back to the car. We didnt want to bring a bag of unclean clothes on holiday with us. Here's where things went downhill faster than Gwynth Paltrow on ski's. The attendant, a tall bloke with a mid-european accent shouted at me 'No, do you know you are at an airport'. He actually shouted this. Shouted. To a customer. Take a minute to breathe that in. Fortunatly I knew I was at an airport, having driven 4 hours to get there. To hear that I was at an airport was no surprise, to be shouted at by a car park attendant was. I explained that I didnt want to take a case of unclean clothes on holiday with me. His response to that was 'we are extremly busy and your car will be removed immediately'. I asked if the hotel would hold the bag and he replied 'No they will not hold your stupid bag'. Here's where I should have murdered him with his Maple Meet and Greet Staff lanyard, but I did not. I asked for my keys back to be told once again in an truely agresive manner 'if you take your keys I will close the entry and you can't come back'. I took the keys and left. I then had to park at Gatawick Long stay for an additional £150. We finally checked into the hotel, explained the situation. The checkin lady (Alessia?) apologised and gave us two tokens for a free drink at the bar. They also kept our bag for us. Is this the fault of Sofitel Gatwick? I think it is. They decided to partner with a company that treats people appalingly. So they've got to accept responsibility for that. Please share this review, If I saw something like this I would have chose another car park or another hotel. Other people should be warned.

Ein weiteres ausgezeichnetes Übernachtungszimmer. Sehr sauber gut ausgestattetes Zimmer und ein oh so komfortables Bett Wir erlebten sehr hilfreich und professionelles Personal von der Kontrolle (Wir brauchten Hilfe!) in die Bar und Restaurant-Personal. Das Essen ist ein hervorragender Wert und das einzige leichte ****** war die Veggie Option (Noodles) auf dem Hauptmahl war nicht verfügbar, so meine Frau setzte sich für eine Pizza, die sehr überfüllt war. Ich hatte Fisch, die ganz akzeptabel war. Die Frühstücksauswahl war hervorragend mit einer breiten Palette von heißen und kalten Speisen.

As regular Premier Inn guests, our stay at this hotel was great as usual. Spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms. The only improvements which could be made are: the air con / heating system didn’t work properly as the screen said it required servicing. This should have been taken care of, but the oil filled radiator supplied in the room did the job. This hotel has cheap unbranded TV’s rather than the Samsung ones usually found across the chain. The remote control navigation is slow, gets rather frustrating after a while, this needs addressing. The car parking was £16 for 24 hours. I understand that a premium needs to be charged because of the proximity to the airport but premier inn guests should expect a cheaper rate.

Superb Gatwick hotel ! We had a 9am flight to catch n booked 2 rooms. I was very impressed with the size and cleaniness of the hotel. This hotel is a short 2 min walk to the North departure airline counters. Only regret, we couldn't try the tasty breakfast as we had to check-into the flight at 7am !!

Guter Service. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, wirkte aber etwas dreckig und alt. Bett und Kissen waren sehr hart und ich habe nicht gut geschlafen. Die Klimaanlage machte auch einen schrecklichen Lärm, so dass ich sie nicht benutzen konnte. Das Zimmer war nicht schallisoliert, so dass andere Leute die ganze Nacht über in ihre Zimmer kamen. Die Lage war sehr nahe am Flughafen und der Shuttlebus war großartig. Der Shuttlebus, den ich und andere bekommen sollten, war voll und sie organisierten schnell einen anderen, der uns innerhalb von 5 Minuten abholte.

We found this B&B as an alternative to an airport hotel. Great value, especially as you only pay for breakfast if you want it - with a 4.30am departure we didn't! About an 8 minute walk from the station, parking also available. Clean room, quiet, and pleasant, helpful staff who also advised us beforehand about booking a taxi to the airport - this was really cheap and took under 10 minutes to get there. Easy walk to restaurants and a lovely pub from the B&B.
