Hotels in der Nähe von Garibaldi Metro Station, Saint-Ouen

We booked hotel l’Avenir initially due to the good first impression of the clean modern rooms and bathrooms. We were not disappointed, a lovely little French café with rooms upstairs, but very professional, staff were lovely, location fabulous and the area lovely too. Hotel very modern. Key points: LOCATION we were warned by the taxi driver who picked us up from gare du Nord that the area we were going to was not the best at night and we should be careful, I would please ask you all to form your own opinion on the area as it is quaint and lovely and has a fabulous church and immaculate park next to the hotel, if I’m honest I suspect the taxi drivers warn every tourist of this to encourage them to use the paris taxi system and put money in their pocket, I’m sure there’s bad there like anywhere, but all we saw was good. There’s a Monop’ supermarket 3 minutes walk from the hotel which is open till 21:30 for buying whatever is needed as it is a substantial supermarket. There is food and cafe available in the hotel, and le montmartre bistro across the crossroads offers food and drinks also. TRANSPORT: transport connections, it is very close (across 1 road) to the local metro station - Garibaldi. From here you can easily reach any Paris attraction or destination with 1 change on the metro system, or 2 maximum. Only thing to be aware of is that on an evening on the way back to the hotel, the trains get very busy as the location of garibalidi station is on the University St-Denis line, so all the students travel back late on an evening. Buses also run from Garibaldi bus stop. ROOMS our room was spacious and had a tv, wardrobe, hard floors, bedside tables with lamps, and a small desk with a chair next to a plug socket. The room was modern and clean and bedding was fresh and beds made daily/housekeeping provided with toilet roll etc, extra blanket provided in the wardrobe. No fan provided or available. BATHROOM: We booked a room with a bathroom included (with WC) these are all on the 3rd floor, and doncoat €10 extra per night, rooms on floor 1 and 2 have a communal toilet, but do have hand washing and shower facilities in the rooms. Bathroom modern, clean, towels changed daily, toilet roll always full. GENERAL HOTEL There is NO LIFT, this was fine for us however it is advertised as having one, which is incorrect and the stairs are very steep. There is a disabled persons room available on the ground floor. You can access the hotel through the café until 12 midnight, after that you must use the side door which requires the daily code they will provide you with on check in. Staff friendly and speak a good amount of English dependant on who you get, can’t fault the staff. Free WIFI provided The hotel organises live music every night which is strictly finished by ten, we heard absolutely no noise after that time and the rooms were well soundproofed. Wir haben hier 2 Nächte früh Oktober geblieben, während wir in Paris für das Usher Konzert. Zimmer sind snug, aber sie machen die Arbeit, komfortable Betten und schönes warmes Wasser für eine lange Dusche. Ich fuhr nach unten und nutzte die Parkgarage unter den Treppen für mein Elektroauto, ich konnte kostenlos zahlen und wir wurden für Parkplätze auf der Grundlage anderer Parkplätze in der Nähe bezahlt, Das Personal war Fab Kevin, vor allem, der uns mit dem Autopark und dem Ladegerät aushelfen konnte. Der Außenhof war ein verstecktes Geschirr, gutes und Service war auch lecker. Insgesamt ein großer Aufenthalt in einem zugänglichen Teil der Stadt. Natürlich würde zurückgehen.

Gute Lage, nicht weit von der Metrostation Garibaldi entfernt, Restaurants und Supermärkte direkt in der unmittelbaren Nähe, sogar ein guit sortiertter Bio -Markt. Im Hotel freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer und bequeme Betten. Ein Nachteil ist, dass die Fenster nicht geöffnet werden können, so dass Frischluftzufuhr nicht möglich ist, Luft kommt nur über die AirCondition. Für eine Nacht ok, bei der zweiten Nacht war die Luft im Zimmer eher mäßig. Beim Frühstück war das Rührei richtig schlecht, sonst war das Frühstück gut.

Wenn ich 20 Jahre jünger wäre, würde ich das ganz begraben. Uber cool Design Hotel, ein verstecktes Geheimnis in einem aufwärtigen und grungigen (nahezu gefährlich) Teil der Stadt. Leider war dieses Eigentum als Familie besucht, von den meisten Attraktionen aus weg. Der Killer-Designer zeichnet mich auch mit Tausend Schnittstellen mit ihrer Mangel an Funktionalität. Ungeachtet der Art, wie man versucht, war das Zimmer immer nie genug hell. Sicherlich nicht gute Nachrichten für mittelalterliche Presbyopie. Der Designer-Tape ist so architektonische Perfektion in seinen Verhältnissen, so viel so dass die Kehle niemals auf ein respektables Volumen füllen wird, weil der Winkel, auf dem es gehalten werden muss. Die schwache Rügel ergänzen die warmen Holzböden, außer dass sie auch die Hölle von jemandem ausgezogen haben, der über einen Ecken schießt. Die zahlreichen Schalter waren einige der ursprünglichsten, die ich jemals angelegt habe, aber Herr Starck hat vergessen, dass ein Masterschalter sie alle auf einmal anschaltet. Und das Badezimmer verdient eine ehrenwerte Erwähnung. Ich schlief und schlug gegen die Wände, die mit atmosphärischen roten Glasfliesen verziert wurden, und setzte einen Schnitt in den Prozess ein. Auf der anderen Seite haben sie einige der coolsten Hotelarbeitsuniformen, die ich je gesehen habe, und die Nutcracker-Kontraktionen in der Lobby bieten einige sinnlose Ruhe, wenn die Kühlheit zu viel zu tragen.

I have booked the reservation for one night with my baby(1 year). When I came to reception Steve ( aggressive and disgruntled employee) has met us. 1.Firstly, in ultimatum form he told me that the prise will be 4 euros more as it was reserved. I was a little bit chocked but said ok. Then he told me that I should pay this 4 euros now,immediately. I asked to do it in the morning as it was midnight and I was with little baby. He told - right now. I payed. Then he noted something in his computer very long time, during this serving other guests. At last he gave me the key. 2.And I asked about the bed for the baby. He told that he is not going to bring it right now for me. It’s France and no one in France will not. I asked him - is it his rule or it’s official ? He started to shout and scold me as a student that I had to book a hotel in advance. Little remarks : it’s midnight,I’m with the baby on my hands and I have PAYED! I checked up the room and it was 2 different beds-for me and 1 year old baby.. in what way can i sleep there??! 3. Then he told me -if you don’t like my rules I am cancelling your reservation, get out to another hotel.I don’t care.. what??! I asked to call manager.He refused telling that it is he who is managering this night. I asked the coordinations of manager -he refused. Again : midnight,I’m with the baby in the in the suburbs of Paris, in front of me agressive abuser who has cancelled my ! PAYED! reservation… 4. I started to cry as because the situation was hopeless, I think it was his purpose.. then he told - ok, I will give you room with one bed. Nothing to do, I had no chance. What does it mean one bed-it’s 2 beds together. My baby felt down from this bed during the night.. 5. When I took the key and asked his name,he told me -Steve and then added that he is working fo 20 years here and doesn’t care what I’m thinking about him.. I was totally choked.I was destroyed for all night in this nightmare hotel. When I started to analyse the situation i had only one explanation -I have booked the hotel from the RUSSIAN account, however I live in Paris long time. I think it’s the only explication such disgusting behaviour with me and my baby. Conclusion :of course, I don’t recommend you this place. Especially, if you have Russian name or surname. It doesn’t cost the money and your nervous system..

Es war wunderbar, dort zu sein, danke für uns und die Erbringung guter Dienstleistungen. Alles war großartig, Wert für Geld. Ich verstehe nicht, warum die Leute die schlechten Ratings gegeben haben, ich blieb auf dem 5. Stock, das Zimmer war sauber und richtig eingerichtet, das geteilte Waschzimmer war richtig gereinigt und sanitiert, das Bett war super komfortabel, und was sonst? Ein Eisen, das sie für Kleidung gegeben haben, ein wirklich gutes geteiltes Duschezimmer. Das Hotel sollte auf 5 Sterne aufgelistet werden. Ich fand nichts falsch. Das Personal war nett und hilfsbereit. Wir gingen für eine schnelle Reise für 2 Tage für einen Fotoshoot und unser Budget war wirklich weniger und F1 war das einzige Hotel, das die Preisgestaltung als für unser Budget, wir hatten Angst, die Bewertungen auf TA zu sehen, aber noch dachte, es zu versuchen. Vertrau mir, alles war ausgezeichnet, viel mehr als erwartet. Ich werde immer dort für zukünftige Reisen bleiben, werde nicht Geld auf teuer Hotels verschwenden, die unnötig gleich gut sind. Versuchen Sie es selbst und ich bin sicher, dass Sie es lieben werden.

Das Hotel liegt in einem sozialen Brennpunkt; der Name des Hotels ist völlig irreführend! Der Hotelname suggeriert, dass das Hotel im Stadtteil oder zumindest in direkter Nähe von „Montmartre“ gelegen ist, aber nicht im sozialen Brennpunkt-Stadtteil St. Ouen! Es fehlen ein Kleiderschrank oder eine Kommode, um die eigenen persönlichen Gegenstände ordentlich unterzubringen. Die Toilette & die Dusche als Vollplastik-Kabinen erinnern an einen Wohnwagen. Das Waschbecken direkt im Zimmer ist nicht schön. Ein richtiges Badezimmer wäre viel angenehmer gewesen. Es fehlt ein Fliegengitter an den Fenstern, damit bei Tagestemperaturen von über 30°C ungehindert nachts gelüftet werden kann. Das 3. Bett war bei unserer Ankunft nicht bezogen und haben wir selber erledigt. Tische im Frühstücksraum waren immer schmutzig, es wurde nicht gewischt, wenn Frühstücksgäste den Tisch verlassen haben. Problem: Zu wenige Tische für zu viele Gäste zu den Stoßzeiten (bei uns 9.00 Uhr). Frühstücksangebot war für mich völlig ausreichend und gut (Croissants, Baguette, Toast, Nutella, 2 Marmeladen, Käse, Butter, Eier, Joghurt, frischer Obstsalat, 2 verschiedene Sorten Frühstücks-Cerealien, Magdalenas, 2 verschiedene Obstsäfte, Tee, Kaffeeautomat mit verschiedenen Kaffeespezialitäten und Kakao) - für mich das allerbeste am gesamten Hotelaufenthalt. Personal wirklich sehr freundlich. Zimmerreinigung war sehr aufmerksam (neue Zahnputzbecher, zusätzliche Handtücher, neue Seife) und nicht zu beanstanden. Wenn die Lage nicht wäre, wäre die Bewertung auch besser ausgefallen… Aber die zieht es echt runter…. Um das Hotel herum war es auf den Straßen schmutzig, dort fand auch ein Flohmarkt statt, auf dem Waren verkauft wurden, die für mich nur noch für den Müll gewesen wären. Alleine als Frau möchte man dort im Dunkeln niemals unterwegs sein und ich könnte dieses keinesfalls ruhigen Gewissens empfehlen. Um die Ecke herum etwas die Straße entlang gab es offenbar auch eine „Tafel“ mit einer langen langen Schlange Bedürftiger. Wir leben zu Hause in einer sehr gutbürgerlichen Gegend und meine Töchter waren entsetzt - Städtetrip mit ungeplanter Sozialstudie: „Herzlich Willkommen im Leben“.

I stayed one night on my own, first the positives: room was clean, bed was comfy, didn’t have any noise overnight, the rate is cheap. But, I had some issues. The bathroom (only that for some reason, not the room at all) smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. The bed side light on one side was broken - no problem as I just slept in the other bed, but would have been a pain if I stayed with my husband as we both like to read in bed. Also as others have said they area isn’t that great, but I was visiting a friend who lived locally so that couldn’t be helped. For me the most frustrating thing was the service. It took 30 minutes to check in, and there were only four people in the queue ahead of me. It was really frustrating. It looked like maybe the systems were slow and also maybe the guests ahead of me had some tricky requests, but 30 mins to wait was just too long. Also I left my phone charger, and the next day emailed the address from my reservation confirmation - I was told it was fine to just go to the reception. Which I did, but they couldn’t find it. I was told I was too late as the cleaning staff had gone home and to come back on Monday (this was a Friday and we left Paris the next morning - I had moved to a different hotel by then). I’m sure they’re not the only hotel to have this system, and possibly the cleaning staff hadn’t found or stored it - but it seems to me a really basic thing to ask cleaning staff to put any found items somewhere accessible so that front office staff can quickly retrieve it for guests that come back to collect forgotten belongings. All of us will be travelers with limited time, and I think it would make sense as a simple way to offer a better customer experience. Also, the head office which received my email could have simply passed on my request so that it was received in time, before the cleaning staff staff left, or let me know that I had go before a certain time. I know it was my responsibility in leaving it, but after taking time out of a short Paris trip to go back to the hotel, it was so frustrating to be told that it could not be found and to come back after the weeked.

Ein nettes Hotel, wir hatten ein riesen Eckzimmer, das eigentlich zum Verweilen eingeladen hat. Sehr schön eingerichtet, bequeme Betten, sehr sauber, eine Couch und eine große Dusche. Aber man hält sich in Paris ja nicht im Hotelzimmer auf! Leider liegt das Hotel in einer nicht ganz so pittoresken Ecke in Paris und echt fern ab von allem, wo man als Tourist so hin möchte, teilweise sollte. Der Ausblick aus den vielen Fenstern ist etwas trostlos: Périphérique, Hochhaus und Unterführung, wo man sich nachts nicht aufhalten möchte. Die Gegend ist wirklich nicht einladend. Um das Hotel herum wird kräftig gebaut, passt aber irgendwie alles nicht zusammen. Moderne Bürogebäude inmitten von Sozialbauten. Zur Metro läuft man gute 15 Minuten, vor der Tür fahren aber zwei Busse, einer fährt bis zum Louvre. Oder man nimmt sich ein Taxi. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend, das Frühstücksbüffet ausreichend, französisch lecker. Auf der Terrasse der Skybar kann man Sacré-Cœur und den Eiffelturm in der Ferne leuchten sehen. Reicht das? Nee, leider nicht. Die Skybar ist gespenstisch leer gewesen und vielleicht darum etwas ungemütlich, leider. Öffnungszeiten unattraktiv. Hat irgendwie eher an eine stylische Raststätte an einer Autobahn gewirkt. Fazit: Ich würde dem Hotel 5 Punkte geben, der Gegend -5 und der Lage -4 Punkte.

This hotel, it's location (Line 14 - Automatic), it's comfort and equipments and more more moreover the kindness and professional attitude of its employees were just amazing. These people were trying by any means to be friendly, helpful and efficient in making our stay as comfortable and ”like at thome” as poossible. Thanks a million. We warmly recommend this hotel.
