Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum von San Jose. Unten ist eine Hauptfußgängerstraße. Es ist bequem zu essen und einkaufen zu gehen. Es kann an den Gründen des Landes liegen. Das Hotel fühlt sich alt an und es fühlt sich ein wenig unsicher an, nachts auszugehen. Das Hotel ist im altmodischen Stil eingerichtet und die Hotellobby befindet sich im zweiten Stock im Retro-Stil. Das Frühstück ist relativ reichhaltig, aber nach zwei Tagen Essen habe ich das Gefühl, dass es nichts zu essen gibt. Es kann sein, dass der chinesische Magen daran nicht gewöhnt ist. Obst, Saft, Kaffee, viel Milch, das ist toll. Das Badezimmer im Hotel hat nur einen Duschkopf, was sehr unpraktisch ist. Außerdem wird das Trinkwasser vom Hotel selbst installiert und ist immer nicht trinkbar.

Die Außenbereiche und der Pool sind schön, aber die Zimmer sind sehr alt und der Geruch war sehr schlecht inne, ich denke vielleicht, weil der Teppich auch alt und schmutzig aussieht. Ich musste aus dem ersten Zimmer wechseln, weil das und der zweite nicht viel besser war. Das Frühstück ist Buffet, aber sehr grundlegende mit wenigen Optionen, so habe ich es nur einen Tag. Not so good, receptionists abrupt and unwelcoming, we were told to see the bell man to organise a lift to the airport and he just left us standing at his desk organising about 10 suitcases and then walked off to deliver them to various rooms. We went for breakfast at 05.00 as it says on room information and was told when checking out it opens at 05.30. We had a flight to catch and make our own way to the airport so no breakfast.

Place is about half an hour taxi ride from the airport. We originally booked it since the listing here said check in was 1400, but were later emailed that check-in was actually 1500 and when we arrived at 1500, the host said they aren't finished cleaning it and we had to wait in the lobby. The room was nice, although we didn't find the bathroom to be entirely clean. Included breakfast only consisted of coffee, fruit bowl and toast with jams.

Undiscovered gem of a hotel near San Pedro. Pros: We were looking for a place on the lower end of the price spectrum that was a one night romantic getaway for two, that I could also use my free trip coins at toward the cost of the room. Preferably including breakfast and a swimming pool with jacuzzi 😉 Not much to ask! We booked one of the cheaper rooms on the ground floor. Before check in we took an Uber to San Pedro mall to do some essential shopping and see a movie. Then we checked in and I relaxed in the jacuzzi under the San José night sky while my husband enjoyed a full workout in the gym/weights room. TV with cable was great for my husband who enjoyed the football while I enjoyed the hot shower and relaxed in the bed afterwards. We had an amazingly comfortable sleep and a delicious breakfast in the morning of gallo pinto, fresh tropical fruits, freshly squeezed watermelon juice and hot coffee. A generous check out time of 12pm meant we had more than enough time to get our things together and leave when it suited. Cons: Not many cons at this price point and value. The guy at the desk was a bit weird when we asked him for a second glass for water as there was only one in the room but not a big deal. We also had to ask him for the TV remote. The towels were a bit small like a mini dress on me after my shower. But good quality (with a third extra towel for the jacuzzi) and high quality bed linen. It also is in a slightly rough looking neighborhood but this is not a problem if you travel to and from the hotel by Uber or use a hire car (which you can park privately inside the property). Overall impression: The other photos on trip.com and similar booking sites do not do this hotel justice - it looks far better in person. It has real character since it is a restored historic hotel from an era bygone, but that is why everything is such high quality from the bed linen to the floor tiles. Everything is also in good shape and freshly painted. There a little hidden nooks around the hotel that make it very charming. The breakfast area is lovely and the jacuzzi, pool and water slide were a real highlight. We WILL be back.

Book only one night needed to be closed to the airport prior to leaving Costa Rica. I arrived too early to check in so I left my backpack in the storage and went sightseeing. Rooms were cleaned however my issues was with the cleanliness of the bathrooms I wish they were cleaner . Shower’s didn’t have any hooks or shelves and I didn’t have anywhere to but my stuff other then the floor. I found a very cockroach in the shower which was also gross. Bathrooms could definitely be cleaner and furniture could be less broken done. Definitely more on the budget friendly side.

Superb hostal with great facilities, an excellent host (Dylan) and lots of small extras that make all the difference. Tea coffee biscuits and fruit provided gratis. Was able to stay in the room.2 extra hours to assist me in getting to the airport for my flight. Outstanding

Der Preis von Samsung, das Gefühl von fünf Sternen! Übererwartete gute! Zunächst ist die geografische Lage im Zentrum der Stadt zu erfahren, die Tür rechts um 2 Minuten zu Fuß ist die Hauptstraße, die Gegend von der Costa Rica National Museum. Die Hauptstraße ist rund 5 Minuten zu Fuß in der Chinatown und ist ein Supermarkt für Restaurants und Trinkzubehör. Es ist großartig! Die Chinatown ist eine Straße, die das National Theatre und die Business Street sowie der Central Park und die Hauptkirche ist. Das zweite Zimmer ist sauber und komfortabel und breit und hell, toll! Die angebotene Frühstückssorte ist zwar einfach, aber die Atmosphäre und das Essen sind zufriedenstellend genug! Alle Mitarbeiter sind enthusiastisch und freundlich und sorgfältig, wie der Frühling, fünf Sternen loben! Hotel dekoriert elegant und schön mit Geschmack, Geduld und Augenblick, es gibt Bilder und Wahrheit
