This property is registered with the Town of Bar Harbor, License #VR2R24-282.This lovely duplex condo is located in a beautiful Bar Harbor neighborhood. In just a few minutes’ walk to town, you can enjoy all the shops, restaurants, and attractions that Bar Harbor offers. You can also bring your bikes and leave your car parked. Nut Hatch is a very short bike ride to Duck Brook Road which provides access to the 45 miles of carriage roads and numerous hiking trails in beautiful Acadia National Park. If you’d rather sit back and take a scenic ride, there's the Island Explorer bus service, which provides free rides around the island. If you want to explore on your own, access to the Park's 26-mile loop road is just a short drive away. If golf is your thing, the public Kebo Valley Golf Club is right around the corner.The home is beautifully decorated and fully equipped with anything your family might need during your stay. Upstairs has three bedrooms. There is a king bed in the main bedroom with a TV and en suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms have queen beds and share a full bath. All bedrooms have their own air conditioning units for those rare hot Bar Harbor days. The first floor also has air conditioning and a lovely living room with a sleeper sofa, comfortable chairs, and a Smart TV with Spectrum high speed internet and TV services (WiFi is available throughout the house). The updated kitchen has granite countertops, a dining table for six, as well as an eat-in island for two. There is a half bath with a laundry area containing a washer and dryer. The outside back deck is perfect for grilling or enjoying a good book. There is even bike storage in the walk-down basement. The unit has its own assigned parking spot and there is overflow parking in the back. Cleftstone Cottage is a modern home and new listing across the street from Acadia National Park. A great neighborhood where you can walk or bike into town or directly into Acadia. In addition to the impressive great room, there is a spacious loft, sun room, sundeck, covered private verandah, and welcoming front porch so your family will have plenty of room to enjoy this unique property with a one-of-a-kind location. This is a new listing for this home, but has a solid rental history with all five star reviews.The home features air conditioning throughout, high speed internet and wifi, flat screen TVs in every room. This 1BR apt is centrally located for great hiking, dining, and golfing. Ravens' Perch sits atop our detached 2-car garage, with its own enclosed entrance and outside parking spaces. The apartment is pet-friendly and a standard pet fee of $50 is initiated when you check that you are bringing a pet when booking.There are stairs leading up to the apartment, so guests must be comfortable and able to climb. The apartment has a studio feel, but does have a separate bedroom for privacy. There is a queen bed in the bedroom, and a futon in the living room. Wifi allows for Amazon and Apple tv streaming. The kitchen space is small, but well equipped for most needs, including an oven. The bathroom has a shower and a washer/dryer unit. The unit is cooled/heated by a heat pump, so there is air conditioning available in the warmer months.There is a (very) small side yard space for your use only, with a charcoal grill and propane fire pit. We have two river kayaks (only safe for freshwater) that you are welcome to borrow, but you must have means of transporting them (we do have foam supports and straps for your rack if need be). The location is great, being a short (~8 min) bike ride to Acadia National Park's network of carriage paths, and an easy walk to town (~10-15 mins) so you can avoid parking fees. The Island Explorer passes right by the property, which will take you all over the island for free. Walk out the door in the morning to the quiet trails, while your friends and family sleep; set your mood; see the morning wildlife, feel the peacefulness of the park before others arrive.Sleep well - we have all New luxury Aireloom mattresses in all main bedroom for 2024, while the office sofa bed has a new Plushbeds organic latex mattress and Meliusly support board.Visit the town as the day unwinds, either taking a longer walk into town, or driving in, just 5 minutes to the center of town.Take a drive on the park loop road from the nearby entrance; or book some time on the Kebo Valley golf course, all easily accessed from this location. When night falls enjoy stargazing from the deck in the darkness of our night sky compliant neighborhood. Close to all the town has to offer, yet far enough away to have privacy and the peacefulness of Acadia. The Perch is a modern, solar powered, open concept, custom designed house that was completed in the fall of 2020. It is tastefully decorated with local art and quality furnishings. Set on over an acre of land, it is a place to relax, reflect and get in touch with nature. There are unobstructed views of Cadillac, Dorr and Kebo Mountains from all living spaces and decks, with peaks of Champlain and Huguenot Head poking through the trees. The yard has been left natural and is visited daily by deer, turkey and other wildlife.The Perch was built in one of the best locations on the island, with direct access to everything the island has to offer, yet quietly tucked away next to Acadia in a newly developed exclusive, secluded neighborhood on over an acre of land. Town Green is minutes away, the Great Meadow trailhead just steps away, the Park Loop Road just around the corner, while the ride to the Carriage Trails is easier than biking from town. The entrance to the Cadillac mountain road is also nearby if you have reservations to see the sunrise or sunset, or you can plan out a sunrise hike from the house or the also nearby North Ridge trailhead. Directly bordering Kebo Valley Golf Club, there is no other place on the island closer to the course. A peaceful retreat with none of the noise, traffic and congestion of downtown, you can plan your day with a hike or bike out the door, even before the rest of your group is awake. Daily hikes from our house are on the Jesup Path, Stratheden, Gorge Path, Kebo Mountain, Homan’s, Emery, Kurt Diederich’s Climb, Ladder Trail and even longer trips to the Top of Cadillac or Champlain Mountains. All bedrooms and the Great room have views of Cadillac and Dorr Mountains. With 3000 square feet of living space, and two different decks, you will have room to spread out. The primary bedroom is spacious with a private deck, a new (2024) King size Aireloom mattress, en-suite bathroom with large soaker tub and cavernous custom shower. The upstairs bedroom has a new Queen size Aireloom mattress an en-suite bathroom, while the lower guest bedroom has a new Aireloom mattress and office bedroom has a queen size pull out sofabed. The downstairs guest and office bedrooms share a bathroom.. In addition, there is a powder bathroom on the main floor. Designer “cooks kitchen” has a fast cooking Induction stove and large island. The high ceilings on both floors and single depth of the house provide amazing light and views of the surroundings, while air conditioning and heating throughout guarantee your comfort on both cold and hot days. While not ADA compliant, 2 story house has an elevator, wide doorways, a level bridge to enter the house and minimal thresholds. It is also a Smart Home that allows voice control of lights and the common area shades. If it is a rainy day or you just want to stay in, there is cable and streaming services on all TVs. There is also an outside infrared gas grill and a microwave tucked away in the island.We also have worked hard to make sure you have extra towels, linens, soap, spices, condiments – all the things you would expect to have if you were home – including a few emergency items in case you forgot something or are arriving late. Erstaunliches Haus! Es fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Der Platz hat eine tolle Atmosphäre, das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Beim Einchecken am Abend stellte uns die Rezeption-Sister sehr freundlich vor. Das Frühstück ist auch gut, zwei Optionen können Sie wählen, wie das Bild, die andere ist frisch und viele Getränke. Das Zimmer ist groß genug, sauber genug, schlafen Sie komfortabel. Der Service ist auch sehr schnell, was Sie brauchen, gehen Sie zur Rezeption und suchen Sie ihn, um ihn zu finden (Telefon kann nicht 😂 verwendet werden), und schicken Sie ihn sehr schnell. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß und sauber. Das kostenlose Frühstück ist super lobenswert. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr bequem und ist sehr nah vom Supermarkt Tankstelle und dem berühmten Restaurant vor Ort. Die Stadt ist sehr schön am Abend und es wird empfohlen, zu Fuß zu gehen.

We were actually moved to their sister property Cleftstone Inn due to a computer glitch. Both properties were amazing and working with us to make the mistake right. Service! A long lost trait. I would definitely stay here again
