Many period details in place such as slump brick walls, oak woodwork and iconic light fixtures, but is newly furnished with just what you need for a modern and comfortable stay. Downstairs features a huge open living area, new 55" tv, comfy recliners, brand new sofa (a sleeper if you need it). Large slider leads out to the patio and pool area, there are 2 pools for your use, one is heated for year round use and the other is unheated and ready for the hot summer season. Kitchen with vintage steel cabinets is fully stocked with what you need. Upstairs features 2 large dual primary suites, each with its own full bathroom, seating area and private patio. The views are fantastic. From the north, see Indian Head, the Angel of Coyote Mountain and the Santa Rosa Mountains. From the south suite, look across the desert to see "church row' and the Pinyon Mountains. The condo is walking distance to Christmas Circle, Borrego art institute, coffee shops, markets, "the mall" with a multitude of shopping options. Not to mention the restaurants! Stroll to Carmelita's in a mere 3 minutes, or head just a few more minutes to Carlees, Red Ocotillo, Keslings Kitchen, and more. The minimalist decor within this desert getaway unit (within a duplex) is the retreat everyone needs and deserves. Even though the unit is located on Borrego Springs Road, and you may hear some street noise, the bedroom is located far enough to allow for a restful evening. As you know between 8 pm-morning there are few cars on the streets in Borrego…Don’t delay in getting your self-care and R&R…It has been a joy to decorate the 550 square feet unit with furnishings from West Elm, Crate & Barrel, CB2, etc. Also, there are 2 mini-splits, 2 smart tvs, WIFI, Cable tv, fire pit, full kitchen…The village of Borrego Springs is recognized as a designated International Dark Sky Community by the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA). There are no stop lights in Borrego Springs and nighttime lighting is kept to a minimum to protect the views of the night sky. Borrego Springs is approximately 90 miles (140 km) from downtown San Diego and the lights of the highly developed California coast. Borrego Springs was designated as California's first International Dark-Sky Community by the International Dark-Sky Association. Das Zimmer ist sehr gut, das Fenster ist ein Pool. Der Sommer braucht eine Klimaanlage die ganze Nacht. Das Hotelrestaurant ist bis zum 1. September geschlossen. Es gibt kein Problem, um 2 Uhr morgens zu bleiben. Ich habe dieses Hotel vor sechs Jahren gehabt und war mein erstes Hotel in diesem Bereich.
