Hostels in Mimaropa, Philippinen

It's unclear who came up with the idea of building a hostel inside a restaurant. The doors and walls are made of OSB, so the rooms constantly smell of food. There's always noise outside, so you can only rest when the restaurant isn't open. While hostel guests try to maintain silence during the day and especially in the evening, the restaurant and hostel staff simply don't care, and they can talk loudly until midnight. The girl who works the reception desk in the evening is incredibly stupid; she can't understand or answer even a basic question. Also, two days before my departure, I asked for an airport transfer, and even though it was 50 pesos more expensive than the tricycles outside, I agreed because I wanted to be sure they would definitely pick me up since I was booking a tricycle from the hostel. I reminded them of this request the evening before my departure; I was leaving early in the morning. In the end, no tricycle arrived; the night manager said, ”Tricycle not available.” WHAT??? I ended up having to catch a tricycle in the dark on the road because I had no idea how long it would have taken if I'd called one through an app. The hostel itself isn't bad, but the staff's lackadaisical attitude immediately lowers my rating.

Die Lage war schön, nicht zu laut, aber immer noch sehr nahe dem Zentrum. Die Menschen auf der Rezeption sind sehr nett und hilfreich. Sie können Ihnen helfen, verschiedene Dinge wie Fährtickets, Transport und Aktivitäten zu buchen. Das Badezimmer war nicht super sauber und einige Pipelines leckten. Sie bieten ein Handtuch und es gibt ein Schampoon-Tube im Badezimmer, wenn Sie nichts haben, das ist hilfreich. Es gibt Bad und Toilette in Ihrem Zimmer, aber auch einige in der gemeinsamen Umgebung, wenn es nötig. Das Zimmer war ok, es gibt Gürtel, um vor Licht zu schützen und Menschen passieren. Es ist auch ziemlich einfach, auf das obere Bett zu gehen. AC ist nicht zu stark und Sie können die Rezeption zu regulieren. Global ist es ein gutes Hostel und für den Preis, den es wirklich wert.

Im so delighted with the staff who provided me amazing service and hospitality. Kudos to NINA, Walter and to all staff who made me feel welcomed and valued. I will certainly be back. Room is clean and has cool AC. Quiet and homey place to stay. Just 1 ride from airport and nearby tourist spots

Hands up to this place. The room was nice, the staffs were very friendly and accommodating. They will tend to your concern and make you feel their hospitality. They also have free breakfast every morning and all of it are freshly made. The room has fresh linens, cold AC, hot and cold showers. The only cons during our visit is that there’s no wifi due to aftermath of a recent typhoon but overall this is 10/10 hostel. I’ll stay with them once I go back soon

Минус был-не работала розетка.организовали мне трансфер в аэропорт-250 песо. Расположение рядом с улицами с кафе и ресторанами. Напротив кафе с пп десертами. Девочки очень любезные и милые. Полотенца есть. Фена нет.

Расположен поодаль от всех баров, ресторанов, но для нас это был плюс. Немного было пыльно, но весь городок в грязи и пыли, поэтому неудивительно. Очень милая девушка Rea нас быстро заселила, нашла трансфер до пляжей, помогала решить любые вопросы.

A vibe, with many backpackers and friendly staff. There is a rooftop pool with a bar area. You can chill and enjoy the view. Shared bathrooms are clean and they give you a towel. No soap, luckily I packed my own. They have really good pizza and a good breakfast menu. The front desk ladies organized my airport transportation easily. Bed was comfortable and clean with a blanket.

Lovely staff, very sociable hostel with events on every evening. Showers are excellent - lovely to have warm water. Rooms do not lock - this seems to be the norm here but it surprised me and did leave me feeling unsafe the first few nights as anyone can walk in. Need to pay to rent a blanket, only a sheet on the bed, but the aircon in the rooms is really high and doesn’t seem controllable by guests - I slept with a jumper on most nights. Temperature outside of the rooms was much more pleasant.
