Hostels in Taranaki, Neuseeland

Well ..Firstly..AS SOON AS I GOT INTO THE APARTMENT...IT WAS LIKE...””IM INSIDE AN OVEN ”..OR IN A 😓 desert !! I went all around the apartment looking for aircon....but... Trust me....NONE... SO I am actually going through menopause...and I WAS VERY 😡 upset ..I knew this very moment....””I WONT SLEEP IN THIS HEAT TONIGHT ..hot flush n then the apartment was really really 🔥 HOT...THE temp yesterday was as high as 30°c...I have pictures as evidence ..on the Facebook community page about the temp last night or yesterday.. I KEPT ON Taking short cold showers in order to get ”:some'”” Sleep.. But yes ..It was a long frustrating night for me.. Secondly..at 11.00pm..to 1135pm.WE HAD NO WIFI... I HAD TO EMAIL .TRIP.COM.. SO AFTER 25MINS ...THE WIFI WAS TURNED BACK ON... THIRDLY...fleas in ALL BEDDINGS... WE TOOK OFF THE BEDDNGS ..N SLEPT ON THE FLOOR.. Because on the bed..the fleas were biting n I brought sheets from home .. which I always do whenever I go to any hotel .. N used it to spread it ontop just to lay down on it... Well apart from all these ..everything else was fine ... But yes ..I would NEVER BOOK ACCOMODATION without aircon ...I cannot imagine ..how is it possible 🤔 esp in an area such as taranaki ...with so much heat ...n NO AIRCON...WELL THATS ALL .. U can see the photos...it's telling u..the temperature. I'm.. NOT the only one ..who felt the heat ... It's NOT JUST ABOUT MY MENOPAUSE... THE TEMP DURING SUMMER IS UNTOLERABLE for EVERYONE!@

Signage made property easy to find. Property immaculately presented inside and out. Checkin very easy, well dressed host pleasure to deal with. Room was spotless and provided everything travellers would require. VERY tiny,teeny weeny thing- no instructions on how to use the TV! If you dont have Sky at home, and given 2 remotes , very confusing. I strongly believe that host would have solved this issue if I had asked and if I hadnt been so tired, I would have asked him. But this in NO way would stop me returning or recommending this motel to fellow travellers. 5 out of 5 rating.

Room rates are reasonable. Location is quite central so everything is within walking distance . The place is well maintained with free parking on site. Room was super clean and neat. Was happy to find the kitchenette well equipped too. The site manager was also very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this place, it’s worth the penny if you are looking for a comfortable accommodation on a budget!🤗

Guter Preis für 5 Nächte. Wie ich an der Rezeption erwähnte, ersetzte das Zimmerservicepersonal Handtücher, die aufgehängt wurden und die ich gerne wieder verwenden konnte (im Gegensatz zu dem, was auf der Karte im Badezimmer gesagt wurde und ist nun Standardpraxis in den meisten Hotels). Das war ein zusätzlicher 4 Handtücher für die Waschmaschine über 5 Tage für ein Zimmer - das alles hinzukommt - Ich denke nur an den Planeten und auch die Autologe Waschmaschine Rechnungen!

The room was older but very clean, the wall was cracked, the carpet stained and the toilet not bolted to the floor. None of things made the stay any less funtional and the service standard and facilities were excellent. It was excellent for our family and we would stay again.

Ich habe ein Doppel- oder Zwillingzimmer im Metrotel für 3 Personen gebucht, die zwei Nächte in New Plymouth verblieben. Erstens ist das Zimmer groß genug, dass wir während des Aufenthalts unseren eigenen Platz haben und alles ist sauber und teuer. Es gibt eine in-Zimmer-Mini-Küche und Gastwaschmaschine draußen, während es für uns sehr wichtig ist. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Sehr komfortabel Einheit. Die Küche hatte alles, was wir brauchen, um ein Essen zu kochen. In der Nähe von Restaurants, Supermärkten und schnellen Lebensmittelgeschäften. Obwohl auf einer besetzten Straße die Einheit sehr ruhig und privat war. Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Genießen Sie unseren Aufenthalt.

Die Zimmerausstattung ist recht komplett, aber relativ alt. Jedes Zimmer hat eine elektrische Heizung und die Betten sind bequem. Ein Zimmer ist ein Queensize-Bett mit einem Einzelbett und das andere Zimmer hat zwei Einzelbetten, die zusammengeschoben werden können. zusammen. Es gibt auch ein Bett im Flur, also für 6 Erwachsene kein Problem. Wir sind 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder. Die Lage ist sehr gut, nur ein Supermarkt, McDonald's, Burger King. Die Einrichtungen sind veraltet und ich fühle mich immer nicht so sauber. Übermäßige Aufenthalte von einer Nacht können noch toleriert werden.

It's a ok bag packer but need renovation. It was good it had kitchen in the individual unit , how ever more cutlery would have been better
