Hostels in Sabah, Malaysia

My trip to Kota Kinabalu was unplanned and I bought my tickets only two days before flying. With such a last minute plan, I decided not to spend much on accommodation. I looked through a few hostel options online and this one stood out mainly because of its central location, so I went ahead and booked it. The hostel is very easy to locate. Just follow the signs and you will find it without any issue. It is on the first floor, which means you only need to go one level up from the ground. When I arrived, the staff were friendly and check in was fast. The same can be said about check out. Everything was simple. The bed was okay and quite standard for hostel stays. My bed was comfortable enough, had a window and came with a charging port which made things convenient. The bathroom was also fine. I only wish guests, especially ladies, would throw their hair into the dustbin instead of leaving it on the wall. It would make the bathroom nicer for everyone. All in all, it was a reasonable stay and matched what I expected for the price. Everything was generally good and okay.

Spotless clean! The bed was so comfy I would not wanna leave, each one spacious and more sufficient than other capsule hotels/youth hostels. My stay was even better than I expected. Perfect location & peaceful vibe all around. Lots of food selections including a supermarket nearby. The owner and staffs are helpful & nice! It's a pity I only stayed for a night as it was my last night there. I recommend this budget friendly place and will definitely go back if I have a chance to visit KK again!🤞

My room is other side that has see view window but I stayed comfortable. I can drink tea and coffee. Theere are a lot of local restaurants around the Hostel and I can walk to supermarket and convenience stores.

I had a great stay! The capsule-style bunk beds were clean, comfortable, and provided good privacy with personal lighting and charging ports. The room was cozy and well-maintained, and the shared space felt safe and quiet. Perfect for budget travelers. Would definitely recommend!

Dieses Hostel ist wirklich super. Es gibt dort viele Chinesen, und die Besitzerin an der Rezeption spricht hervorragend Chinesisch; sie gibt sich alle Mühe, sicherzustellen, dass man beim Einchecken alles versteht.

Es liegt in der Nähe des alten Piers, das Feima Seafood Restaurant befindet sich direkt daneben und der Supermarkt ist ebenfalls in der Nähe. Es liegt im Stadtgebiet von Semporna und bietet eine gute Verkehrsanbindung. Das von mir gebuchte Zimmer hat Meerblick, was sehr einzigartig ist. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass das WLAN-Signal im Zimmer nicht stabil ist. Manchmal muss man sein eigenes WLAN mitbringen oder in die Lobby gehen, um das Internet zu nutzen .

Everything is good and tidy, common areas, pool table. Breakfast is simple.

good homestay… clean and good location.. just the room wasnt so sound proof, i can hear ppl talking clearly from my room.. other than tat all good

Die Lage des Hostels ist sehr gut. Tianqiao Durian, der Zentralmarkt, ein großer Supermarkt und ein Postamt liegen im Umkreis von 200 Metern. Wechselstuben, Anlegestellen und Motorradverleih sind alle im Umkreis von wenigen hundert Metern. Das Badezimmer ist sehr klein, es gibt oft nur sehr wenig Wasser und der Warmwasserbereiter funktioniert nicht richtig. Der Balkon ist groß, es gibt jedoch keinen Trockenraum für Kleidung. Es empfiehlt sich, den Wasserweg zu erneuern und auf dem Balkon einen Trockenbereich einzurichten.

Останавливались в хостеле на 4 человека. Очень удобно, чисто, сан узел в соседней комнате чистый, территория большая и ухоженная, ресторан предлагает завтрак, ланч и ужин. Брали завтрак за доп плату: вкусный, (кроме кофе), разнообразный, но цена - ”дорого”... По дороге к PDC (туда 800м, очень удобно) ресторан с прекрасной евро едой и алкоголем. Цены разумные. Граб ездит. Персонал все подсказывает и объясняет на отличном английском. Очень рекомендую.
