Tilburg Hostels

When staying at the hotel we couldn’t fault it. Children stay free if sharing a room, and we had booked to visit Efteling. We didn’t realise but our stay coincided with carnival, for this reason I think we were allocated a room at the back of the hotel (as I can imagine those front facing would be very noisy - there is a huge stage directly in front of the hotel at this time, as well as many food vans and outside bars etc - not that any of this worried us). So our room was on the 5th floor at the rear with a direct view of the multi story car park! (But we didn’t book for a view!). The room was well equipped with a comfy bed and a seperate shower and toilet. Everything was very clean. The only issue I would say regarding the rooms is that they were very dark so it was hard to see your items in the wardrobe. Not a big deal! The staff on reception were really helpful and chatty, and gave us lots of advice. It’s super easy to reach Efteling from here, we walked to the coach station (just by the train station) and there were regular buses. Again children travel free. You could walk to the station in about 10-15 mins. The shopping streets are very close to the hotel, and nice for a stroll - plenty of places to eat etc. we enjoyed backwerk bakery just a couple of shops down from the hotel, they did fresh smoothies and juices and lovely fresh sandwiches. Perfect for brunch/lunch. There is a Taco Bell next to the hotel! My son wanted to try it but we didn’t get chance! The issue for us came out check out, our flight wasn’t until the evening so we asked to use the secure luggage room for our case so we could enjoy our last day. We came back to the hotel to pick up our bag, and make our way to the airport. I was let in to the luggage room to get our case, but it had gone. The staff didn’t know what to do, apart from check and speak to other staff members. Eventually I asked to see the manager as we really needed to leave (fortunately we had been sensible and kept our passports and money etc on us). And I was asking for something in writing to say they had “lost” our case - as I didn’t feel comfortable just leaving with no proof (they also wanted to take the luggage receipts - I think because they wanted to figure out what had happened). The manager was “checking the CCTV” but upon our second request did come out and see us. She did apologise for the case going missing (after a long time!! More hearing about how strange this was?!?) and said if it “wasn’t found” they would replace it. At this point I was getting concerned about travelling home without any of our things, especially with my son, for example some warmer clothes, his switch!! I felt the customer service here was lacking, there was no gesture here - could they assist us getting to the airport for example - She did offer to go to the shop but by this point we were cutting it so fine to get to the airport / which we said to her! Wir möchten uns für den guten Service und freundliche Empfang bei der Rezeption danken. Die Zimmer waren top und sehr schön, auch auf Ihrem Zimmer können Kaffee und Tee machen Es ist eine Freude, wenn Sie früh weggehen und trotzdem einen Kaffee trinken wollen. Parken vor der Tür ist wie eine Freude erfahren. Im Restaurantbar wurden die Getränke gut behandelt. Top und empfehlen für alle. Bis zum nächsten Mal.

Schönes Hotel mit enttäuschender Service und Personal. Wir kamen um 3 Uhr von einem langen Flug mit unserem 2-jährigen mit 2 Wochen Gepäckwert. Das Personal machte uns unsere eigene Trolley zu bekommen und sie hochziehen. Am Frühstück war das Personal, wo keine Hilfe gefunden werden kann, und die frisch gemachten Eierstation saß ideal die ganze Zeit mit verbrannten Eiern nur auf Anzeige. Wenn ich ein wenig später nachprüfen wollte, als ich dafür bezahlt hatte, traf ich mit einem harten Nein. Kein Lächeln. Kälte und Brut. Kommen Sie auschecken Zeit, ich bat einen Trolley, um die Taschen abzuholen, sagten sie, sie haben keine. Ich bat um Hilfe, meine Taschen abzuholen, weil ich ein Baby hatte und es nicht allein konnte. Noch einmal sagten sie, sie können nicht helfen. Nicht ein 4-Sterne-Hotelservice oder sogar ein 2-Sterne-Service. Personal ist abgekoppelt und überhaupt nicht freundlich. Ich empfehle es nicht, es sei denn, Sie sprechen Niederländisch oder wenn Sie mit einer Familie reisen. So eine Schande, weil das Zimmer geräumig und sehr ruhig ist.

Tolles Hotel, 20 Minuten zu Fuß vom Zentrum entfernt. In der Nähe des Piushaven mit schönen Geschäften und Restaurants. Schönes großes Zimmer mit lichtdichten Vorhängen. Schönes Badezimmer mit schöner Dusche. Betten: schön und groß. Kissen: nicht unser Favorit! Warm und oft weich. Idealer wäre es, wenn Sie an der Rezeption selbst entscheiden könnten, welches Kissen Sie möchten. Erfahrungen im Piu8 Hotel in Italien gesammelt. Schalldichte Räume. Kostenloses Getränk ist super! Tolles Hotel zum übernachten.

Datiertes Hotel an einem zentralen Ort im Zentrum. Ideal für Einkaufen und Ausfahrt. Dies ist auch sofort der größte Nachteil des Hotels. Best viel Lärm von außen durch Verkehr, ”glückliche” Menschen und die tiefen Basslärm der Feststraße voll mit Terrassen, wo das Hotel liegt. Finden Sie das gut und stellen keine hohen Anforderungen an ein Hotel, dann ist dies eine gute Option. Hotelzimmer, Badezimmer und Frühstücksraum sind sauber. Der Rest ist vergangene Herrlichkeit. Frühstück ist vernünftig. Nichts Besonderes, aber eine ausreichende Wahl. Alles in allem für eine Nacht zu tun, um das Beste zu tun.
