Having read that the Pearl Continental was a 5 Star hotel, made me look forward to staying there. Upon arrival, the staff at the reception desk were very courteous and professional. Check-in was slow due to some alleged computer issue. The rooms were nothing special and looked very tired and in need of renovation. Especially the bathroom, which was on par with a 1 Star establishment. Breakfast was acceptable and service reasonable. Definitely not to 5 Star standards. Again the reception desk staff professional and courteous upon checking out. The icing on the cake for me was when we checked out, I asked where would be the best place to get a taxi. They said they have a desk near the entrance and the staff there can arrange transport for us. So we approached the desk and told them where we wished to go. After tapping on a calculator for 5 minutes the chap told us the fare would be 10,000 Rupees. 10,000 I exclaimed! This was more than double for what the journey should be. I was expecting it to be slightly more as it was being arranged by the staff of a so called “5 Star” hotel. I shared my thoughts on the fare but the chap was not interested. I reluctantly accepted the fare, paid the 10,000 rupees in cash, whilst trying to convince myself that it’ll save me walking a few hundred meters down the road and haggling with the taxi walas in the midday heat. So we were escorted to the vehicle by the chap from the desk. The vehicle wasn’t anything special, just a standard saloon, which had seen better days. The chap from the desk, gesture for me to follow him back to the desk, whilst he asked my wife to make herself comfortable in the car, and the driver began putting our cases in the boot. I followed him back towards the hotel entrance and asked what was going on? He casually replied that he had miscalculated the mileage and would require more money. To which I laughed and replied that the cost was already more than double. How could he be asking for more! I shouted to the driver to take the cases out of the vehicle and asked my wife to not get too comfortable. I then told the chap at the desk that I have never been dealt with in such an unprofessional insulting manner. I voiced that these type of extortion tactics are very unbecoming of a so called “5 Star” hotel. I demanded my 10,000 Rupees, which he grudgingly gave to me. Suffice to stay, I will never be staying at the Pearl Continental in Rawalpindi ever again. It’s most definitely NOT a 5 Star hotel in any shape, way or form. With staff like the guy who tried to rip me off, not once but twice, in broad daylight, just highlights the festering desperation, greed and total disregard of any form of respect or decency that exists here. Absolutely no shame. Anyway we walked 6 feet outside the hotel and got a taxi for 4,000 Rupees for the same journey. Be careful, everything isn’t what it seems. Watch out for these smiling passions and daylight highwaymen.

Das Hotel kann nicht hoch genug loben - sie sind wirklich erstaunlich Insbesondere das Personal der Rezeption hat die besten Kundenservice-Kenntnisse, die ich in Pakistan erlebt habe - fühlt sich wie im Westen. Ich wünschte, ich würde mich an seinen Namen erinnern, aber der Mann, der mich anmeldete und mich auscheckte, war extrem professionell mit fantastischen Kundenservice Fähigkeiten. Die Empfangsleitung sollte herausfinden, wer er ist und ihm einen Lohnerhöhung geben. Gott segne dich Mann

We attend the hotel with outside temperature of 45 degrees after a long journey on the 3rd day of Eid after having stayed a nice hotel in Multan with fully functioning facilities. The reception was well maintained and nice and cool, we were given our rooms and the porter led us to a door and to our dismay, which went outside to the unfinished shopping mall so we could access the second lift on the other corner of the building as the lift in reception area was out of order. The lift took us to the second floor, where the decor reflected the reception area , however they had turned off the air conditioning for the building there excuse was that the building engineer was on eid holiday only he could turn on the corridor ac ? we were shown our rooms which were hot as they had just turned on the Ac in the rooms we had booked the large deluxe rooms , however had to change both our rooms about 4 times as issues with inaffective ac units, this didn't get resolved until midnight. The restaurant was closed even though the staff were there , the other parts of hotel were not accessible as the air conditioning was turned off. In the morning the staff immediately apologised as there was no buffet or active kitchen so the breakfast which was out sourced was a option of eggs and paratha and toast. There was 4 of us and after a 10 minute wait we were given one cold old paratha cut into 4 pieces it seemed like it was a left over. I complained and we then received some paraths which were reheated old and hard. Why accept customers if you don't have fully functioning hotel, it could of been a good stay if everything was functioning as the hotel has nice decor.

1. I had a pleasant stay at Royal Swiss hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were polite and helpful. The location was also convenient for getting around the city. 2. Royal Swiss hotel was a good choice for my trip. Check-in was quick, the facilities were well maintained, and I had a relaxing stay overall. 3. I enjoyed staying here. The atmosphere was quiet, the room was tidy, and everything I needed was available during my visit. 4. The hotel offered good value for the price. The staff were welcoming, and the location made it easy to visit nearby attractions and restaurants. 5. My experience at Swiss Lahore hotel was positive

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Luxury Experience at PC Hotel Lahore As an international traveler, I have stayed in many luxury hotels, but PC Hotel Lahore truly stands out. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with exceptional hospitality and professionalism. The staff made me feel like a VIP throughout my stay. The room was spacious, elegant, spotless, and offered every comfort I needed. The dining experience was outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious food and an excellent breakfast. Every member of the team was polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The hotel’s atmosphere, security, cleanliness, and world-class service exceeded my expectations. It is the perfect choice for business travelers, tourists, and families looking for a luxurious stay in Lahore. I highly recommend PC Hotel Lahore to anyone visiting Pakistan. Overall experience was good. I have been going to this hotel since I was a little boy in the 90s. The good: Quality service. Amazing breakfast buffet with local and continental options. Breathtaking view. Consistency across 3 decades. The bad: Facilities are very outdated and need a big upgrade. My 4 year old played on the same swings that I played at his age. Great for nostalgia and recreating old pics. However, shows how outdated things are. In fact, some were just broken. Table tennis and squash rooms that were freely available for guests years ago are closed and replaced with some 4D entertainment which wasn't functional. Not much for recreation for a resort-type hotel. Room TVs were not smart TVs.

Als ich ankam (um 2 Uhr um Mittag), war das Zimmer noch im Schlauch, so dass ich eine Minute warten musste. Aber während er wartete, bot er sogar frisches Fruchtsäfte und Essen. Das Zimmer, das ich geleitet habe, ist ein sehr gutes Zimmer. Rein und komfortabel. Um 12 Uhr unterhalten und um 12 Uhr abgeben, so dass ich glaube, dass die Klarheit unweigerlich ein Werkzeug für den Fliegen von Stahl sein wird. Ich glaube, es ist sehr gut, die enthusiastische Gäste zu verdeckt. Es gab einen Marathon-Spiel am Morgen, also wollte ich nach der Marathon waschen. Als ich am Morgen nach der Marathon ging, sagte ich: ”Ich bin nicht aus dem Haus, also habe ich das Zimmer gehalten. Ich habe es mir gegeben. Aus dem Haus um 12 Uhr ist wirklich hilfreich!

The location of this hotel is excellent, only a 10-minute walk to the nearby shopping mall. There are also several snack shops right downstairs, and ordering Foodpanda at night is very convenient and fast. The staff here are incredibly polite and helpful. Right after I booked via Trip.com, they proactively contacted me on WhatsApp to ask about my arrival time and any special needs. They even sent me a map and their precise location, which was very thoughtful and welcoming. In terms of the room, while there is no dedicated hot water system, the water temperature is naturally warm due to the hot weather in Pakistan. It feels just like a warm shower and was very comfortable. Whenever I had a question, I could just message them on WhatsApp, and they responded almost instantly at any time. I had a great stay here and will definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit.

Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich, aber der Föhn war kaputt und musste dringend ersetzt werden. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig.

amenities can be improved. frequent short power outages observed at different times during the stay. soap and shampoo bottles were way too old and a hassle to pump. finding the light switch and dimmer was a real struggle. housekeeping was slow and had to be reminded twice to make up the room.
