Wir haben im Downtown Camper by Scandic in Stockholm übernachtet und unsere Erfahrungen waren insgesamt durchwachsen. Das Hotel ist wunderschön im skandinavischen Stil gestaltet, modern und stilvoll, und die Anlage ist sehr sauber. Die zentrale Lage ist ein absolutes Highlight – äußerst praktisch, mit vielen Geschäften, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten in fußläufiger Entfernung. Essen gehen oder Ausflugsziele in der Nähe zu finden, ist kinderleicht. Es gibt jedoch auch ein paar Nachteile. Das Hotel stellt keine Annehmlichkeiten auf den Zimmern zur Verfügung, sodass Gäste ihre eigenen Toilettenartikel mitbringen müssen. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer, das sehr klein war und kaum Platz bot, sich darin zu bewegen oder das Gepäck bequem zu öffnen. Das Personal war nicht besonders freundlich, was angesichts der gehobenen Positionierung des Hotels etwas enttäuschend war. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und bot eine große Auswahl an schwedischen Gerichten, allerdings war die Speisekarte jeden Tag gleich, was bei längeren Aufenthalten eintönig werden kann. I recently stayed at this hotel with my family, hoping for a relaxing break. However, our experience was far from what we expected. Upon check-in, there was no mention of any building works taking place. It wasn’t until later that we noticed a small sign in the hotel lift, casually mentioning that disturbances might occur between 9 AM and 5 PM from Monday to Friday. Unfortunately, this warning was not only insufficient but also inaccurate. We were rudely awakened at 7:15 AM by loud drilling, far earlier than the supposed start time. When we went down for breakfast, we were shocked to find that the building work had already begun, well before 9 AM too. The noise and disruption made it impossible to enjoy and certainly not a relaxing start to the day. The coffee was dreadful, as another reviewer had mentioned, and the breakfast experience was further marred by the staff’s lack of attention. If you are lucky enough to have your table wiped, don’t expect it to be done with a clean cloth or any cleaning products. Rooms shabby, location however is good. The situation worsened after we checked out. Despite having prepaid for our stay through Trip.com, we were charged again on our credit card for the entire stay, 24 hours after departure. This has resulted in the hassle of trying to get the hotel to refund us from overseas and we’ve had to engage our credit card company to assist with the dispute. While Trip.com has done their best to secure compensation for the building work disruption, the hotel has been utterly uncooperative occurring to trip.com seniors. Adding insult to injury, we didn’t even receive a goodbye when we checked out—just a lacklustre experience from start to finish. This hotel is part of a large chain it seems, but it’s clear that they are not customer-focused at all. I would strongly advise reconsidering whether they deserve your money. There are plenty of other places that understand the basics of hospitality….. improvements needed!

Ausstattung: Die meisten Annehmlichkeiten sind vorhanden, nur ein Wasserkocher fehlte; wir haben an der Rezeption einen angefordert. Sauberkeit: Die Reinigung erfolgt nicht standardmäßig. Umgebung: Sehr schön. In der Nähe des Entensees. Service: Ausgezeichnet.

Das Alleinstellungsmerkmal dieses Hotels ist seine erstklassige Lage! Gleich um die Ecke befindet sich ein Busbahnhof, von dem alle 15 Minuten komfortable Busse zum und vom Flughafen ARN fahren. Außerdem sind alle guten Museen, Restaurants und Pubs bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Zimmer war ordentlich, ohne Schnickschnack, aber einfach sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man zum Ausruhen und Frischmachen braucht. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist auch gut. Es kann allerdings recht voll werden, wenn man nicht schon um 7 Uhr morgens in den Tag starten möchte. Also, ich bin begeistert!

We stayed here overnight before flying home. It was a wonderful hotel with an excellent breakfast and a lovely swimming pool! There was also table tennis and a well-equipped gym in the basement of the building, in addition to a sauna in each of the gendered changing rooms. It is a little difficult to reach the hotel, though there is a shuttle bus. The hotel would benefit tremendously by developing a guide to show customers how they can easily access the hotel via foot from each of the respective airport terminals and via the free airport shuttle bus (I believe it was the T3 Alfa, bus). Finding the hotel was not trivial, even after checking in advance. Following google maps does seem to work, but you do get the awful sensation that it might try to lead you to places you don't want to end up (i.e., the high-way!). This is why I recommend the hotel creates a detailed guide on how to access the hotel, from the airport terminal buildings. If you are worried about reaching the hotel (it isn't far - it is walkable if accessibility isn't an issue), then I recommend you call them in advance and ask them for travel instructions. If accessibility is an issue for you and walking is difficult, I would recommend you call the hotel and ask them whether you would be able to reach the free airport shuttle bus terminal from your arrival destination - if not, I'm afraid you will have to call an uber/taxi to get you there as it is a long walk with luggage. Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would look to book again in the future.

Der Hauptbahnhof ist zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Beim Betthat mir ein Sitzschutz gefehlt. Ein Vorhang wäre angenehmer Gewesen. Der Mülleimer war unvorteilhaft ganz hinten in der Ecke versteht, zwischen Hochbett und Bank. Das Zimmer war angemessen Sauber. Es gab eine groß Kiste unter dem Bett, die man (falls Schloss, selbstständig mitbringen) abschließen kann. Mir hat eine Kühlmöglichkeit und zumindest ein Wasserkocher gefehlt. Zudem waren Sachen, die normalerweise kostenlos im Hostel zur Verfügung gestellt werden mit zusätzlichen Kosten verbunden. Das Badezimmer war sehr unangenehm. Es wurde zwar jeden Tag gereinigt, davon hat man leider abends nichts mehr gesehen (Personen abhängig). Die Weißen Fließen und die Wasser Überflutung nach dem Duschen haben es nicht besser gemacht. Es gab keine Tücher für die Hände! Es wäre ratsam diese zur Verfügung zu stellen, ebenfalls etwas womit man das Wasser vollständig vom Boden entfernen kann (der viel zu große Wischer, bringt nichts und ist ungeeignet für ein kleines Badezimmer). Die Personen (6 Betten) haben wenig auf Hygiene gesetzt und das Klo sowie das Badezimmer an sich sehr abwertend hinterlassen...

I had a fantastic stay at Story Hotel Stockholm Stureplan right in the heart of Stockholm. The location was unbeatable — just steps away from great shopping streets, excellent restaurants, and easy access to public transport, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot. Many attractions like Nybroviken, Strandvägen promenade, and the metro are within walking distance, so it was incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, from check‑in to offering local tips. They made me feel truly welcome, and service throughout my stay was consistently excellent. The room was clean, stylish, and comfortable, with modern design details that gave it a chic, Scandinavian vibe. While European city hotels sometimes have smaller rooms, everything felt well‑organized and cozy, and the comfortable bed ensured a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet — it offered a variety of tasty choices and was a great way to start each morning before heading out to explore. The hotel also has a lively bar and restaurant downstairs, perfect for grabbing a drink or dinner without going far. The overall vibe of the property was modern and fun, making the stay feel more like a memorable experience than just another hotel visit. Overall, I would highly recommend Story Hotel Stockholm Stureplan to anyone visiting Stockholm — especially if you want a stylish, centrally located hotel with great service and a welcoming atmosphere.

Dieses Hotel ist wirklich toll! ! Erstens ist der Raum sehr groß, die Ausstattung im Raum ist sehr vollständig und er sieht sehr neu aus, was den Leuten ein gutes Gefühl gibt, nachdem sie ihn gesehen haben. Zweitens ist das Frühstück des Hotels reichhaltig, mit viel Brot, Obst und Getränken. Die Einstellung des Personals war ebenfalls sehr gut und sehr freundlich. Sie sorgten für einen frühen Check-in. Auch die Dekoration des Hotels ist gut Es gibt viele Supermärkte in der Nähe. Sie können die S-Bahn innerhalb von fünf Minuten zu Fuß erreichen und das Stadtzentrum in 10 Minuten erreichen. Obwohl es nicht im Stadtzentrum liegt, fühlen sich die Leute hier nicht trostlos oder gefährlich, und die beiden Mädchen wie wir haben sich hier sehr wohl gefühlt! Und der Preis ist zu freundlich! Empfohlen~

Das Hotel hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage und die Zimmerhygiene ist akzeptabel. Allerdings war die Badezimmerheizung in dem Zimmer, in dem ich übernachtet habe, kaputt, was etwas bedauerlich war. Das Frühstück im Hotel gilt in Nordeuropa als reichhaltig. Der Service des Barkeepers ist sehr enthusiastisch und der Preis ist nicht teuer. Es liegt nur 15 Gehminuten von den Hauptattraktionen entfernt. empfehlen Der Pauschalpreis für die Fahrt mit dem Taxi vom Flughafen zum Hotel beträgt jedoch 720, was in Ordnung ist. Die Fahrt mit dem Taxi vom Hotel zum Flughafen kostet jedoch volle 1600 schwedische Kronen betrogen worden.

Der Service war sehr gut und das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Ausstattung des Zimmer war sehr modern und durchgedesignt, vor allem das Badezimmer. Die weitere Ausstattung des Hotels mit Fitnessraum und Sauna waren sehr gut und sauber mit modernen Fitnessgeräten, ausliegenden Handtüchern, einem Wasserspender und Äpfeln. Außerdem gibt es in der großzügigen Eingangshalle einen Fotoautomaten, ein witziges und einzigartiges Detail. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Zur Begrüßung gab es einen kleinen Gemüse-Shot. Lediglich der Fitnessraum und die Sauna sind etwas schwer von der Eingangshalle aus zu finden und die Beschilderung ist nicht immer nachvollziehbar.
