A short walk down a slope to the Ela beachfront and a good restaurant and bakery. The hotel is ok, but furniture, sheets, and mattresses are old and 'tired'. Staff is really friendly. Pool area nice. Check-in a bit frustrating as they couldn't find our reservation - eventually sorted out.

Das Hilton ist das beste Hotel in der Gegend und seine seriöse Sicherheit sorgt dafür, dass sich die Leute wohl fühlen. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und soll das beste Frühstücksbuffet der Gegend sein. Im Vergleich dazu ist das Abendbuffet etwas schlechter. Das Hotel verfügt über komplette Fitnesseinrichtungen. Es ist nicht groß, hat aber eine tolle Atmosphäre. Viele Gäste trainieren morgens, was für Lebendigkeit sorgt. Der Pool ist durchschnittlich und befindet sich außerhalb des Gebäudes. Die Wohnanlage ist normal und sauber. Das Hotel liegt nur etwa zehn Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Abholservice, reservieren Sie einfach im Voraus.

Die Check-in ist am langsamsten, den ich je gesehen habe. Check-in-Zeit ist um 2pm Ich versuchte, Check-in um 2pm Ich wurde gesagt, Zimmer ist nicht bereit. Ich sagte, wann wird es bereit sein Antwort war ich nicht weiß. Ich sagte, die Zeit der Eincheckung ist 2:00 Uhr Ich möchte nach 20 Minuten nach dem Abwarten, dass ich eine Schlüsselkarte geliefert wurde. Nur 1 Aufzug arbeiten so kann es lange dauern, bis man ins Zimmer kommt. Das Restaurant ist gut ausgestattet. Die Shuttlezeiten auf der Anzeige sind falsch, aber niemand kümmert sich um sie.

Service is great, the place is great, shuttle to the airport was provided which is nice. Bathroom amenities, now that was a bummer. Provided a comb, shower cap, body lotion and the usual shampoo, conditioner and body wash but that’s it. There was no toothbrush, toothpaste, no hairdryer. It was quite bare bones, not a problem but if it’s a 5 star hotel, then it should at least have some standard, I’ve stayed at 3 star hotels, who gave better amenities. Everything else is up to par. Only one pair of hotel room slippers, had to request for one more, it was late and we left like 15 minutes later, so never got them.

(+) the hotel room is clean and spacious. Check in from 2pm was possible. The hotel has its own restaurant and rooftop bar. It is located in a safe neighbourhood, I was walking around Boroko and visiting the local market, crafts market during the day and no issue at all. (-) I think I was unlucky cos my room 210 had bedbugs. I suffered from itchy bites the whole night, and thinking what it was until I saw a doctor. At first I thought it was mosquitoes but the room is air conditioned. See picture. I was bitten on my neck, arms and back. Their bedsheet or mattress must have been infested. Travelers do beware.

A fun and enjoyable stay. A very unique and very large property. I would’ve preferred my room have been in the main building. But this is a very busy and popular hotel. Breakfast is decent, and they have a very good onsite shop for all your conveniences. I’d definitely stay again.
