This motel is located a very short drive from great restaurants and large grocery stores. The grounds and pool are immaculate, very friendly staff everywhere. Rooms are spotless and our deck was large with a table and 2 chairs. Lower floors have covered patios. Very nice! We would stay here again.

Always a good stay at Wairakei resort, comfortable room very close to main lobby which has excellent AC. Plenty of on site parking and love the access to the motorway. The bathroom cleaning could be better as I found a few hairs in the tub when we got there however this was the only thing I could fault.

I arrived in Taupo on the morning Air NZ flight from AKL, upon arrival at the Chevron Motel, 4 hours before the published check-in time, I had planned to ask to have my luggage stored while I go about other business. The receptionist kindly asked me to wait while she checked to see if my room was ready, and if so, I could have my room right away. Lucky for me it was, I was very pleased with the initiative and flexibility offered. My booking included a living area with dining table, kitchen, sofa, spare single bed, a separate bedroom, and a dedicated parking space. My stay of 5 nights was very comfortable, and I will definitely use this motel again on my next visit. I would like to offer a few suggestions for improvements, first - a split type AC unit was present in the living room, it would be great if there could be a second unit installed in the bedroom. Internet connectivity, available 24/7, while adequate, did have limited bandwidth affecting video streaming from Netflix/YouTube etc. Lastly, it would be great if the TV provided in the living room had a larger screen. In summary, I was very pleased with my stay at the Chevron Motel, the room offered great value for money, and I was completely relaxed and comfortable during my stay.

Freundlich ins Personal prüfen. Besondere Erwähnung Peter, der uns ins Haus geprüft und sehr nett ein größeres Zimmer angeboten hat, um zu sehen, dass wir unsere Tochter mit uns haben. Das Sofabett wurde komfortabel hergestellt. Rein plus weiße Handtücher und Bademäntel. Das Abendessen serviert bei Bistro war ausgezeichnet. Die ganze Hilton Vibe war zu Hause, warm und immer angenehm und subtle mit Crabtree & Evelyn's. Wir hatten nicht genug Zeit, um den Fitnessraum zu nutzen, aber der Spa war sauber und entspannend. Hilton ist nahe an andere Speisen wie Industrie Küche, St Pierres sushi ,McD, wenn die Gäste versuchen wollen und alle in Fußabstand auch. Danke Hilton und mein Mann haben jetzt als Hilton Honors Mitglied unterzeichnet.

This hotel was wonderful. It was located on the lake and had amazing views to wake up too. The hotel is very family friendly and includes a heated pool and tennis court. I enjoyed going for a morning walk along the lake too. It was a large apartment and the staff were accommodating too. I would definitely stay here again.

Wir blieben eine Nacht auf dem Weg nach Hobbiton und genossen es so sehr, dass wir 2 weitere später auf unserer Reise blieben. Große Lage, und Cambridge ist eine relativ einfache Basis, um an andere Orte zu kommen. Schöne Dekoration überall, schöne Fertigstellungen und wirklich friedlich. Es war sehr besetzt während unseres Aufenthalts (um Weihnachten/NY) so ein wenig auf Essen/Trinken warten, aber das ist zu erwarten. Wir hatten positive Interaktionen mit allen Hotel- und Restaurantpersonal. Meine einzige Rückmeldung ist, dass die Schalter in den Zimmern blaue Lichter auf sie haben, die für Leute, die wie ein schwarzes Zimmer, Schlaf stören können. Hoffentlich eine einfache Korrektur!

Das Hotel ist unglaublich gemütlich und komfortabel, und Sie konnten nicht um eine bessere Lage bitten, es ist direkt im Stadtzentrum mit allem nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Es war ein schneller Aufenthalt, aber große Lage und Gastfreundschaft. Gut am Balkon am Morgen mit Kaffee aus der Frühstücksbar zu sitzen und in den wunderschönen Blicken zu nehmen.

Wow! Wir werden auf zwei Schlafzimmerwohnungen, die wirklich handvoll waren, da es waschen/trockner plus Klimaanlage in beiden Schlafzimmern und offener Wohnbereich. Sehr sauber und modern mit guten Geräten (Bosch Koch, Backofen, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine und Trockner). Die Wohnung ist klangvoll bewiesen. Sie haben auch 4 Sorten von Zealong Tea Estate Tee zusammen mit den Zealong-Tassen plus Kaffee-Tassen. Das Hotel liegt neben dem See und Geschäfte, so ist es ziemlich bequem. Meine einzige Frage ist, dass außerhalb der Nachtzeit Schlafstunden, der Klimaanlage nach ein paar Minuten von sich aus ausgehen würde. Ich habe es auch wirklich gefallen, in diesem Hotel zu bleiben und würde es anderen empfehlen.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which is really all you need for a short stay when you’re out exploring most of the day. Don’t expect 5-star facilities or luxury features, but the overall experience is solid and very safe too. The stay was pleasant, the environment was tidy, and it offered good value for money. A reliable and convenient option for travellers passing through or wanting a simple base to explore the area.
